The bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet, and all necessary toiletries were provided, with each paper cup individually wrapped for hygiene and a great attention to detail. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing quick check-in and helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants. The location was superb, just a 5-minute walk from the Provincial Government subway station, making travel incredibly convenient.

The shared bathroom was also spotless, and each toilet door had weatherstripping to prevent loud noise when closing—great attention to detail! The owner was also very welcoming, and the hostel's color scheme was very sophisticated. It's very close to the Yellow River, with a bus stop right outside, making it convenient to get to any tourist attractions. It's also close to Lanzhou Old Street and the West Railway Station.

LLiyang AndrewOn the map this hotel is about 900m away from the Lanzhou West train station, but I would advise you to take a taxi/ride-hail vehicle if you have large/heavy luggage. You have to either cross an overhead bridge without lift to reach the hotel, and because the stretch of road has buildings beside it that are undergoing construction, it can be a bit difficult to navigate the footpath which sometimes spills over to the road. Alternatively, you can take the metro for one stop and backtrack, but you would have to put your luggage through the scanner, let security test your liquids in the luggage, etc. There is a convenience store outside the hotel, but otherwise there isn't much shopping to be done. The location is good only because it is near the train station.

The rooms are similar to those in Hong Kong hotels. #Location, Transportation, and Shops: It's just 50 meters from Jianlan Road Pedestrian Street and very close to Xiguan Shizi Metro Station. It's near Gansu Provincial Museum and Lanzhou Center, making it convenient to go anywhere. There's also the West Railway Station Night Market nearby. There's a Ma'anjun Spicy Beef Noodles restaurant downstairs. #Value for Money: During the National Day Golden Week, this hotel, considering its location, should offer the best value for money.

GGuest UserIt's on the road to the left after exiting Lanzhou Railway Station, a 2-minute walk to the station, convenient for transfers, and there are restaurants and supermarkets right outside. It's a fairly standard hotel, with all the necessary amenities, and it's reasonably clean. There's no elevator, so you'll need to store large luggage at the front desk. The price is acceptable.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, spacious and tidy, and the boss was enthusiastic. 15 minutes walk from the College of Arts and Sciences, there are bicycles at the gate of the community, which is very convenient. The bathroom is shared by three houses, and it is recommended to rent temporarily. 😁

GGuest UserIt's a youth hostel in the community, the price/performance ratio is quite high. The boss remotely controlled me to find the location hahaha, it's very considerate. It's just a distribution of several space capsules in one room, and there are different choices, but it will still disturb others. If you want to pursue quietness, it's difficult. Other places are good. There are no pictures, I have deleted them, I'll just post three pictures haha

LLoves Travel*If you are going to Lanzhou …* … this is the hotel to stay especially if you are an independent traveller! Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions. Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist. The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle. We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!

YYiangerThis homestay is cost-effective and the rooms are clean and tidy. Although there is no air conditioning in all the rooms, it is still acceptable for short-term stays. Because I personally like this kind of home feeling, I feel it is very warm, just like returning to my own home, and living very comfortably. However, given the advice of some reviews, if you are looking for more facilities and comfort, a hotel might be a better choice. After all, there is nothing particularly amazing here, it is more of a simple and comfortable living experience. Because of the special date, I was unable to book a room the next day, which shows that this B&B is still very popular. If you like this kind of living and warm environment, you might as well give it a try.
