GGuest UserThe hotel was great, but more a selfservice hotel. It was clean, the beds were comfortabele, personel was vey friendly but did not speak otter languages but with the translate app everything worked fine. Every text in the hotel was in Chinese only. Maybe it will be beter when more foreigners come to China for holiday! The location of the hotel is really great, naar metro and shops and also the river is close. One thing for improvement would be to have real towels. Better for guests and environment.

BbalakeerA great hotel for the price. The location is fantastic, right next to Exit D of Xiguan Subway Station, adjacent to Zhangye Road Pedestrian Street, and within easy reach of Muta Alley Snack Street and Dazhong Alley Night Market. I expected a noisy stay in such a place, but the room was surprisingly quiet. Upon chatting, I discovered the owner had put a lot of effort into noise isolation, resulting in excellent soundproofing. The room resembles the design of the Atour Hotel, with smart curtains and toilets. The toilet itself is particularly impressive; it's as comfortable, convenient, and fully automatic as my own at home. The towels are all disposable, clean, and reassuring. I accidentally lost my room card while visiting the night market, but the owner, true to his Northwest roots, generously didn't fine me. I felt really bad about it, thank you!

GGuest UserI came to Lanzhou for the marathon, cancelled my other bookings, and chose this place instead. It was excellent value for money, absolutely perfect. Because it was fully booked, it was a little noisy, but the quiet atmosphere was quite nice. I got back a bit late after the race, and by the time I finished packing, it was past check-out time. The landlady didn't rush me and told me to take my time. I mentioned when I booked that she would reserve a room for me, and she remembered that—I'm so grateful! If I ever come to Lanzhou again, I'll definitely choose to stay here. It's super close to the Yellow River Tower, practically right outside the door—perfect for sightseeing.

LLiyang AndrewOn the map this hotel is about 900m away from the Lanzhou West train station, but I would advise you to take a taxi/ride-hail vehicle if you have large/heavy luggage. You have to either cross an overhead bridge without lift to reach the hotel, and because the stretch of road has buildings beside it that are undergoing construction, it can be a bit difficult to navigate the footpath which sometimes spills over to the road. Alternatively, you can take the metro for one stop and backtrack, but you would have to put your luggage through the scanner, let security test your liquids in the luggage, etc. There is a convenience store outside the hotel, but otherwise there isn't much shopping to be done. The location is good only because it is near the train station.

MMinShanHuaWithin easy walking distance to the train station - ideal for solo travellers, but far enough to not feel swamped in the crowds. The staff are friendly and personable, always happy to help and have a nice chat. This is a decent budget hotel, and was exactly what i would expect but the warmness and welcoming enviroment created by the staff was above and beyond and helped me feel at ease. Theres a small convinience store directly next to it with various shops and restaurants in the adjacent area providing useful. The bathroom couldve been a little cleaner, and the shower had some problems with water pressure and cleanliness but nothing bad enough to affect my stay. i will reccomend this place to any foreign friends staying in Lanzhou!

YYiangerThis homestay is cost-effective and the rooms are clean and tidy. Although there is no air conditioning in all the rooms, it is still acceptable for short-term stays. Because I personally like this kind of home feeling, I feel it is very warm, just like returning to my own home, and living very comfortably. However, given the advice of some reviews, if you are looking for more facilities and comfort, a hotel might be a better choice. After all, there is nothing particularly amazing here, it is more of a simple and comfortable living experience. Because of the special date, I was unable to book a room the next day, which shows that this B&B is still very popular. If you like this kind of living and warm environment, you might as well give it a try.
