"I stayed at this hotel several times last year. It's close to West Station, and while the facilities are average, the service used to be great. This time, however, the biggest impression was that the service has really gone downhill; it felt like a small guesthouse rather than a standardized chain hotel. I arrived in the morning, and the front desk staff didn't even ask what room type I'd booked, just flat-out said there were no rooms available and I couldn't check in until 12 PM. This isn't the service I'd expect from a HUAZHU hotel."

My room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully decorated with a cozy touch. Waking up to the morning sun and the beautiful views outside was a real treat. I highly recommend staying at the Puyi Hotel – it's truly fantastic! 666~"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Yellow River with a beautiful view! The service was professional and warm. The hotel staff knew we were traveling with a child and kindly helped combine the beds and provided children's toiletries in advance! The room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the Lanzhou noodles which were very fragrant! The front desk lady was gentle and professional, and the concierge staff were very polite when handling our deliveries and even had hot water. It was a very pleasant stay."

"The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and upgraded me to a river view room. The room was spacious and bright, and the beautiful Yellow River scenery was right before my eyes through the floor-to-ceiling windows – a truly great view. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is directly opposite the Yellow River embankment, and in the evening, taking a stroll along the Yellow River embankment walkway, you can enjoy the surging Yellow River water up close, which was very pleasant and refreshing."

"The rooms at Ogilvy were great, the service was excellent, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The swimming pool and gym were free, which was fantastic. The facilities were luxurious, the swimming pool water was exceptionally clean, and the receptionist was also very helpful. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is new and luxurious, and the rooms are very spacious. The cleanliness is, of course, impeccable. Parking is also convenient. Honestly, everything is great, except for the no-smoking policy. For those who smoke heavily, I wouldn't recommend staying here, as it might be a bit uncomfortable. However, as a high-end hotel in the Northwest with a comprehensive smoking ban, I completely support it – no complaints there!"
Royal•Garden Hotel
"Construction downstairs continued all night, plus the air conditioner's outdoor unit roared all night long—my god! My wife and kids didn't get a good night's sleep because of the noise. As a hotel, what else can you expect if guests can't get proper rest? Afternoon tea? The order clearly stated that afternoon tea was included, and I asked the front desk at check-in, who told me it was on the second floor. When I went to get it at the designated time, they told me I needed an "afternoon tea voucher," so I had to run back to the front desk on the first floor to get it. I felt like I was fraudulently claiming a cup of Nescafé. When I went out to iron my clothes, the front desk told me they would bring me a garment steamer, but after ten minutes, I urged them to bring it right away. When I got dressed and went out, it still hadn't arrived. Speaking of which, I have to mention that last time I stayed in this same room, I found a single hair on the blanket, and they upgraded my room before they were satisfied. In short, I've stayed at almost every Blueberry Hotel in Lanzhou, and this "flagship" hotel is truly the worst in every aspect. If you see this, just choose the Blueberry Hotel on Xilu Road; it's at least half the price."

"The lady at the front desk is very friendly and the transportation is very convenient. It is only about 20 minutes away from Lanzhou Station. The room is comfortable, the environment is very good, and the facilities are complete. It is a very good stay experience and it is worth recommending."

"It was just a very ordinary guesthouse/apartment. The internet was bad, and it cut off overnight. The air conditioner remote was hidden and you had to ask to get it back. The bathroom and shower facilities were also poor, and the projector was very small. Overall, the experience was extremely bad."

"This is an older hotel in Lanzhou's old town, but the room was very clean and had no strange smells. It's within walking distance to many nearby attractions, and there are lots of authentic Lanzhou specialty restaurants nearby. It's a great choice for a trip to Lanzhou."

"The service was warm and welcoming, the room was clean, and the location was super convenient. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. It's really easy to get to Zhongshan Bridge, Baita Mountain, and the Yellow River Mother Statue from here. You can also visit the Gansu Provincial Museum by just showing your ID. Staying here makes it incredibly convenient to try Lanzhou beef noodles and check out all the major attractions. Highly, highly, highly recommended!"
