4-Star Hotels in Lanzhou

Some people in the stuff speak english. The name of the hotel is Madison Hotel, not the one that trip says (but the photos on Trip show it). It's a 20min walk from the train station but that's because next to the train station there's nothing. In front of the hotel there's a bus stop for many bus lines. Unfortunately lanzhou (at the time of my review) only has 2 subway lines and it's easier to move by bus even though the traffic in the city is maddening. The hotel is extremly luxurious and there are also washing machines and dryers. This is the birthplace of Jiafei make sure to visit all the places she has been to during your stay.

The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. They promptly noticed I had left my glasses behind and actively helped me figure out a solution. I'm also very grateful to the driver who picked me up and dropped me off at the station; he was incredibly thoughtful and helped me carry my heavy suitcase up the steps, which was a huge relief and made my journey much easier.

Checked into your hotel yesterday, and I must say the service was excellent. The location is super convenient, right next to a RT-Mart, and there's even a Luckin Coffee in the lobby on the first floor, which is a nice touch. The room was comfortable and clean, and I loved the large floor-to-ceiling windows. Overall, a very pleasant stay! [smiley face emoji] And a big shoutout to the customer service for their outstanding and thoughtful service.

Stepping into the lobby, I was greeted by a pleasant fragrance and polite staff at the front desk. Perhaps because I'm a Ctrip Platinum member, I received a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious and comfortable room, which I was very pleased with. The attention to detail was impressive; seeing that we had four pieces of luggage between two people, the check-in staff thoughtfully arranged for a colleague to help us bring our bags to the room. The hotel's facilities are excellent, not only offering a washing machine but also a dryer, complete with laundry detergent. Both are available 24/7 (the room TV shows the status of the washing machines – whether they are in use or available), and best of all, the laundry service is free! That's fantastic; my clothes smelled wonderfully fresh after washing. The next day, I called the front desk to inquire about the brand of laundry detergent. They informed me that Atour Hotel's detergent is custom-made. To my surprise, when I checked out, they gave me several packets of the detergent, along with a small gift bag containing three packets of 'San Pao Tai' (a type of tea), more laundry detergent, and bottled water. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

After visiting Bingling Temple, we drove straight to a hotel near Zhongchuan Airport, as the airport is really far from the city. Luckily, we could still order some Lanzhou delicacies via food delivery. The room was booked using Trip.com points, and the soundproofing was excellent. I couldn't hear any airplane or road noise at all, which allowed me to get a solid two and a half hours of deep sleep. The service was quite friendly, but I requested a room upgrade through Trip.com and it doesn't seem like I received one. Breakfast was decent. There weren't many hot dishes or protein options, but the beef noodles were really flavorful, especially the chili oil in them.

The service was warm and welcoming, the room was clean, and the location was super convenient. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. It's really easy to get to Zhongshan Bridge, Baita Mountain, and the Yellow River Mother Statue from here. You can also visit the Gansu Provincial Museum by just showing your ID. Staying here makes it incredibly convenient to try Lanzhou beef noodles and check out all the major attractions. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

Facilities: There is a gym, very modern, with a humidifier, air conditioning, and the lights will turn on at night to remind you, which is a benefit for people who are afraid of the dark. Sanitation: very clean Environment: good, wooden floor, wooden fence Service: very good, the waiter will escort you to the elevator

This was by far the most comfortable and best-value hotel we stayed at during our trip to the Hexi Corridor with my parents and children. It's very close to Xiguan Station on Line 1, within walking distance to Zhongshan Bridge and Baita Mountain, and getting a taxi is convenient, so the transportation is excellent. Even though the hotel is in a bustling area, it's very quiet once you close the windows and doors, allowing for a great night's rest. I particularly want to praise their toiletries – they truly impressed me! I usually bring my own toiletries to any hotel, but I tried theirs this time, and they were really good and smelled great. The toothpaste was Ora2, which shows that this hotel pays attention to details, and that's fantastic. For breakfast, they have a chef making hand-pulled beef noodles fresh, which are as good as any you'd find at a noodle shop outside. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lanzhou.

This stay was a truly pleasant surprise! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with our luggage. The room was larger than expected, with a cozy layout, and the cleanliness was impeccable – not a speck of dust even in the corners. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, and the soundproofing was excellent, so I had a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, including some delicious local specialties. They even gave us a thoughtful little gift when we checked out. Fantastic value for money, I've already recommended it to my friends!

This is an excellent hotel. It is located right on the Northwest Normal University Campus. It is easy to walk to any part of campus from the hotel. The hotel is also close to 金牛街 (Golden Cow Street), which has lots of shops and restaurants, and the Yellow River, which has nice walking and biking paths. The hotel is also just a 30min bus ride to parts of downtown Lanzhou using the BRT bus. The staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel room is comfortable, with good views from the window and soft beds. Each day the hotel provides 2 bottles of water and slippers to wear in the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The breakfast area is also nice if you pay for it. They have local beef noodles, which are delicious!
