Had a pleasant stay at Panbil Residence Batam. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment and were impressed with how spacious, clean, and comfortable it was. We had a wonderful family stay at Harris Resort Barelang, Batam. The resort offers a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful sea views, making it a perfect getaway for families. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Our family especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the facilities, which were well-maintained and family-friendly. It was a great place to unwind, spend quality time together, and escape the hustle of daily life. It is a refurbished grand hotel with friendly helpful staff and warm welcoming atmosphere.. For a shower means you have to step into the bath tub which is not conducive for those with joints issues. The mattress and pillows are really great for weary muscles. The breakfast buffet spread esp.the fruit juices local dishes,, hot station n fried noodles are the must haves. Hats off to Chef Pak GorengGoreng! He deserves a raise!🫡

I loved Batam View so much! I'll be honest, I wanted to stay at Turi Resort, where I normally stay, but they were fully booked. So I tried Batam View, and I was flabbergasted. I had a room in the main building with sea view, and it was stunning. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, modern, comfortable. The hotel's beach and pool are both amazing, and I was so happy to find a really deep pool (rare in Asia), plus a very clean beach. I had an unforgettable dinner at the beach, too. The staff are universally lovely, attentive and professional! I saw the villas and definitely want to stay there next time! I spent a lovely 6 nights there and cannot wait to return!

Unfortunately, my overall experience during this stay was quite disappointing, and I feel there is still a significant gap between the hotel’s standards and the actual guest experience. First of all, the breakfast selection was quite limited. On the second day, the spring onions served at breakfast were already dry and wilted, giving the impression that they had been left overnight. They certainly did not look fresh, which was rather concerning in terms of food quality. The cleanliness and maintenance of the room also need improvement. The glass windows were covered with obvious wiping marks, making them look dull and far from clean or bright. The bed sheets, duvet covers and bath towels also looked quite old and worn, with some appearing dark and discoloured. This made the room feel less clean and comfortable than expected. The soundproofing was particularly poor. When the neighbouring room played music, the sound was so clear that it felt as though the music was playing inside our own room. This seriously affected our ability to rest. The bathroom could also be more thoughtfully designed. The shower head was positioned too low and would be much more convenient if it were installed higher. Not every guest prefers using a bathtub, so providing a more practical and comfortable shower option would give guests greater choice. I hope the hotel will focus not only on its appearance and marketing, but also on the basic details that directly affect the guest experience, especially cleanliness, bedding and towels, soundproofing, breakfast quality and room facilities. Based on this stay, there is definitely considerable room for improvement.

I really enjoyed my stay at Grand Eska Hotel & Suites! What stood out for me was its proximity to ESKA Spa & Wellness, convenient location, reasonable price, and most importantly, the friendly and helpful staff. I also really appreciated the flexibility with check-in. Although the room keys could only be collected after 2pm, the hotel was happy to let me check in earlier and leave my bags with the concierge. This meant I could head out and explore Batam without having to worry about my luggage. If there was one area for improvement, it would definitely be the towels. I think the hotel could do with a fresh set of good-quality white towels, as the current ones looked a little old and musty. I was honestly tempted to bring my own when i come back next time! 😅 Other than that, it was a really pleasant and comfortable stay. With new towels, it would have been pretty much perfect! Would definitely consider staying here again, especially for the convenience, value for money and wonderful service. ⭐️

We stayed for two nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. Having a balcony facing the garden was a lovely bonus. The surroundings were relaxing and peaceful, with a warm atmosphere and direct access to a clean, private beach. The staff were welcoming, helpful and always ready with a friendly smile. Our kids had a great time enjoying the big pool, cycling, ping pong, gym and the dedicated kids’ room for children under 12. The breakfast buffet offered good variety and was satisfying each morning. A special thanks to Sofi, who came to us on both days and encouraged us to try the local kueh, the ongol-ongol and pandan cake, which added a delightful touch to our stay.
