Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming. The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.

Considering it's peak summer travel season, this hotel offers great value for money. Here's why: 1. Free airport shuttle service. 2. Breakfast is included, which is very convenient. 3. The rooms are well-equipped with all necessary amenities. 4. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful. 5. The scenic view rooms offer a beautiful and expansive vista. 6. As an older four-star hotel, some facilities are a bit dated.

As an international five-star hotel, the hardware is, of course, impeccable. What I value most are the details, as they truly make all the difference. My three-day stay was, in a word, absolutely perfect and satisfying. From the moment I checked in at the front desk on the first day, every staff member across all departments was incredibly polite, always greeting me with a smile. Whether it was in the room corridor in the morning, at the breakfast restaurant, or even the housekeepers, dining staff, and even the chef preparing breakfast – their first words were always a cheerful 'Good morning,' delivered with a constant, engaging smile. It felt very friendly and professional. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, including Xiamen specialties like Shacha noodles, Mianxian paste, and beef soup. There were also three to four choices of freshly squeezed juices, and they could even prepare Eggs Benedict. The swimming pool and gym were also of a considerable size, and the environment was very clean. In terms of the room, the wet and dry areas were well-separated. What impressed me the most was the housekeeping staff. They truly embodied the concept of 'anticipatory service.' They noticed my preference for tea and thoughtfully provided extra bottles of mineral water for me to brew tea. Even simple things, like tissues, were pre-folded before being given to guests. These little details speak volumes and demonstrate how thorough and professional their staff training is. Finally, a special thanks to Amber from guest services. She contacted me before my arrival to inquire about my estimated arrival time and any room preferences. Her assistance throughout my stay was invaluable. My heartfelt gratitude.

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

During our stay, Ms. Yunia was always patient and incredibly thoughtful when answering any questions we had. The only minor downside was the slightly high price during the summer, but it's understandable given it was peak tourist season. The excellent facilities combined with the attentive personalized service made traveling with kids so much easier. Overall, our stay was fantastic, making it an excellent choice for a family trip to Xiamen. We'll definitely be back, especially since the hotel is so close to the beach!

This hotel is truly great! It's easy to find and parking is convenient. I originally booked for two nights, but due to an unexpected event, I requested to stay for only one, and it was approved immediately. The service was excellent, and I even received a welcome gift upon check-in. It mainly featured mini hot pots, along with an abundance of crayfish. The variety of dishes was impressive, with seafood, hot dishes, and desserts all available. The ingredients were super fresh, and we left feeling very satisfied. The breakfast buffet the next day was also excellent. **Environment:** The location is another big plus, being very close to the beach, making it super convenient for a stroll. We had a comfortable stay throughout, making it our top choice for a family vacation with kids. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Xiamen!
