WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

Wwailoon tanThe male receptionist is super friendly and helpful. He reminded us on all the possible traps to be avoided while traveling in xiamen. Throughout our 3 nights stays, he provided lots of guidance to us on how to place booking for boat ticket and entry tickets for tourists attraction. He is helpful in arranging house keeping and replenish the supplies in our room. The room sizeable with nice seaview. Just take note that the hotel only occupying certain floors in a building without clear signboard outside the building, took us some time to ask around and find the hotel location

ZzyoukoThe French-style cabinet and desk have so much character! All the furniture, including the large wardrobe, isn't brand new but feels well-made and meticulously maintained. On the first floor, they offer 24-hour freshly ground coffee and lemonade, which made it feel almost like home, even though I was away. I really found what I was looking for – it was incredibly comfortable and great value for money. A very satisfying stay!

GGuest UserThis is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

AAnonymous UserThe room was spotless and the bedding super soft, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and check-in was super quick. The location is really convenient for getting around, the bathroom always had plenty of hot water, and the soundproofing was good too. Excellent value for money – I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay here again.
The location is excellent. It's right next to the metro, directly across the road from China City Mall, and within easy walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, the waterfront and the ferry wharf. It made exploring Xiamen incredibly easy.
The staff were consistently helpful and efficient. They obtained information about the Xiamen-Kinmen ferry, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast restaurant staff deserve special mention as they were always friendly, welcoming and genuinely seemed pleased to see their guests each morning.
The room itself was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was excellent and while I didn't use the bath, the shower was very good. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool, gym and lounge area, all of which added to the overall experience.
Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, both Asian and Western, and a pleasant atmosphere.
I only intended to stay a short time, but enjoyed both the hotel and Xiamen enough that I extended my stay by an extra night. From my room I had good views, including Zheng Chenggong's statue on Gulangyu Island and Xiamen's Twin Towers in the distance.
This hotel certainly helped make my stay in Xiamen an enjoyable one. I left with very positive memories and would gladly stay here again.

GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay at the Suitcase Guesthouse in Xiamen with my friends! The family duplex loft was spacious and bright, with plenty of room on both floors, making for a super comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was cozy with a great design. The facilities were complete and easy to use, and the owner provided excellent service. The location is also very close to Zhongshan Road, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time!

GGuest UserThe attitude of the young lady at the front desk of the hotel is super good. Mom and Dad come from the north. They have not arrived at check-in time after 11 o'clock. The room has not checked out. The young lady arranged other rooms in advance to provide rest and change summer clothes. The room has a washing machine, the wet clothes in the water are convenient to wash, and it is a five-minute walk from the sailing pier. I bought several couriers in advance and put them directly at the front desk of the hotel. The experience is super good and I am very happy.
