Linshifu Mansion Hotel (Gulangyu Island)

Gulangyu Scenic Area Xiamen|0.7km from Xinzhuang Garden
The hotel has the style of the Republic of China combined with Western style, and the environment is first-class. My daughter and I like it very much. The key is that it's a little far away from the busy business district, so it's quiet, but not too far away. You can reach the snack street in a few minutes' walk. The hotel was the former residence of the Lin family, the richest man in Taiwan, and the famous Shuzhuang Garden on Gulangyu Island was their garden. After sleeping, you can take photos inside and it will be a blockbuster. The key is that it is an exclusive benefit for residents. The hotel service is also very good. Someone will pick up your luggage at Sanqiutian Pier and help you deliver it to your room. After checking out the next day, you can safely store your luggage at the front desk, and then make an appointment with the front desk or call the front desk half an hour in advance. They will arrange for someone to send the luggage to Sanqiutian Pier, eliminating the need for Passengers don't have to worry about carrying their luggage back and forth, but they can travel around without any worries. The luggage pick-up and drop-off, front desk and waiters were all very nice and the service was excellent. Breakfast is a set meal with small plates, which is quite filling for us. I don’t know if I can increase the amount for those with big appetites. Overall, I am quite satisfied and would like to stay with my whole family again next time.

For the first time in life, A hotel that I would never leave. The waiter who picked me up from the ferry terminal was wearing black Chinese overalls, carrying a white canvas bag, and holding a yellow umbrella... When we arrived at the hotel gate, the girl in white with a big smile came out to greet us... When we entered the lobby, we were immediately served with welcome tea (Picture 1). We opened our towels, wiped our hands, and drank tea while waiting to check in... Brother Huang Umbrella and a manager sent us to the room, and explained the facilities and supporting facilities in detail, and even demonstrated how to secure the room door... Then go to the coffee shop and enjoy the exquisite afternoon tea provided by the hotel. The tables and chairs in the cafe are all medieval, which appeals to my aesthetic taste... What I didn't expect is that the desserts taste better than those in professional shops outside! Also, after learning that we were here for our wedding anniversary, the hotel immediately upgraded our room for free. What a surprise. The hotel is where the famous piano master Yin Chengzong received piano enlightenment from an early age. There are only 13 rooms, and the overall decoration style is retro and high-end. I held my camera and couldn't stop taking pictures... Breakfast was also very good. Every waiter is kind and polite. If you come to Gulangyu Island, I highly recommend staying at Hongtang.

The dome building in the picture, together with the row room on the upper right, is the hotel. It is super close to the sea. There are also ace attractions on the two islands of Sunlight Rock and Yuanzhuang Garden (you can't find the road back to the hotel when you can't see the road signs of Sunlight Rock and Yuanzhuang), and it is very convenient to watch the sunset. The front desk staff is very patient and friendly, and will answer questions about nearby play and return routes. The interior decoration is the style of the early century, but it is well maintained and still very new. Overall very satisfied 😋 (a little distance from Sanqiutian Wharf and Neicuoao Wharf, but as the response from the hotel, you can enjoy the scenery along the way, and decide where to eat and eat snacks by the way.

The balcony room is very good, with good ventilation and lighting. There is an elevator in Building 8. The hygiene is very good and the linen is clean and soft. The pick-up and drop-off service from the pier is great. It leaves on the hour and runs once an hour. There are different routes back and forth. You can even go to places that you can't walk by by car. The big trees in the large yard as soon as you enter the hotel are all decades old, including mango trees, jackfruit trees, phoenix trees, cockscomb trees... It would be very pleasant to cook tea by the fire under the trees without the crowds outside. There is a beach at the back door of the hotel, and sand digging tools can be picked up at the front desk. A few hundred meters outside the gate is Shuzhuang Garden, very close. Let’s talk about areas for improvement. The breakfast noodle soup was tasteless and too bland. It was far inferior to the noodle we had in the Xiamen hotel. I hope some seasonings can be added, such as meat sauce, Laoganma, coriander, etc.

First of all, the environment and location of the homestay. It is located on Gulangyu Island and has many food and attractions around, which is very convenient. Although it is in the alley, the surrounding is very quiet and makes people feel very comfortable. Going forward is the seaside, the whole room of the hotel is clean and tidy, making people feel very warm. Secondly, the service, the front desk brother of the hotel is very friendly, answering our questions and needs very carefully, and giving two tickets for Panpo Building, the price is super high, it is recommended!

Environment: The hotel's location and environment are perfect, and the view from the balcony is superb. The room is large, but the facilities are relatively simple, and the disposable items equipped with more than 1,000 rooms are very ordinary. The mattress was lumpy and felt crushed. The service needs to be improved. Compared with the services of other boutique homestays, the attitude of this store is slightly indifferent. First, the location of the homestay is on the mountain, and no one came down to pick it up. Second, the afternoon tea provided by the homestay is until four o'clock, and the customer service is told whether it can be given as a gift at 4:15, and they say no. Breakfast is at 10:05, and the kitchen is being cleaned.

We stayed here for two nights and the hotel brought us many surprises. Gulangyu Island is a large scenic spot, and the hotel itself is also a small scenic spot. The location is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, very close to Shuzhuang Garden and Sunlight Rock, making it very convenient to play. The building of the hotel is so beautiful. It is a pleasure to drink tea and relax at the small table on the balcony on the second floor. The breakfast is very nutritious, and the afternoon tea is also very good, which is very appetizing. In addition, I would like to praise the hotel's service. It is really very appropriate and all the details are very good. I would especially like to praise Xiao Zhang who received us at the beginning. He showed us every room type. We decided to upgrade to the most comfortable Rijian A, which really brought a wonderful experience to the two-day trip.
