Marco Polo Xiamen

Booked this hotel for a concert, and the location is fantastic, right by a park! They even offer shuttle service to the venue. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room, which was a nice surprise. The hotel's cleanliness was also better than expected; it has that classic, solid vibe. Plus, the elevators are super fast, so no long waits, haha. Oh, and the stewed potatoes and stewed broccoli at breakfast were absolutely delicious!

Thanks to Ella's thoughtful service, my recent business trip stay at Marco Polo Xiamen was absolutely flawless, deserving a full five-star rating! 👍 The hotel is ideally located by the Yundang Lake in the heart of the city, making commutes and errands incredibly convenient. The overall ambiance is elegant and serene, truly reflecting the rich heritage of a long-standing five-star hotel. The lobby is grand and impressive, and the guest rooms are clean and comfortable, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I had most of my meals at the 8th-floor Executive Lounge. The lounge has extensive operating hours, and the breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour selections were all abundant with excellent food quality. What truly stood out was the warm, attentive, and friendly service from all the lounge staff – their kindness was truly heartwarming and perfectly balanced. A special thank you to Ella, the Club Floor Manager, for her meticulous and thoughtful service. She was always attentive to guests' needs, providing a consistently comfortable and personalized experience throughout my stay, which significantly eased the fatigue of my business travels. With both excellent facilities and heartfelt service, this hotel will definitely be my top choice for future business trips to Xiamen. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Xiamen for business!

The hotel ambiance is grand and impressive. The front desk staff were attentive and polite, highly efficient, and patiently answered all my questions. The entire check-in process was smooth, making for a perfect experience. The surrounding area is also quite good.

The hotel's environment and service were both excellent. The front desk kindly upgraded my room for free. There are plenty of delicious food options downstairs, and the surrounding area is very quiet. Overall, I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Traveling to Xiamen with my child, I've stayed at Indigo before, but this time I wanted to try a different hotel. This one had great reviews, so I booked a lake view room. Upon arrival, they said they'd upgrade me to an executive room, which I was happy about, but when I got to the room, I found it faced a residential area with no view at all. My 'lake view room' had become a 'special offer room.' After I complained, they switched me back to a lake view room. However, the location was very remote, and you could only see a small corner of the lake, which was quite disappointing. It definitely wasn't worth the price! The room had a bit of a musty smell, and the bed was tiny, only 1.1 meters wide, completely unsuitable for sleeping with a child. There was a nightlight by the bed that couldn't be turned off, staying on all night. The duvet was very damp, as if it had been sprayed with a lot of water. The air conditioning barely provided any cool air; it was too hot! Breakfast was decent, with different options for a day or two. The staff's attitude was good.

Xiamen's first five-star hotel, with incredibly thoughtful and warm service! We ordered takeout several times a day, and unlike other hotels that use robots, they had actual staff deliver our food. Plus, during a concert, the hotel provided a free shuttle service, and it was a Mercedes-Benz! Very impressed! The outdoor pool is also great 👍

This hotel is seriously outdated. The lobby is okay, but the room was a shocker – the facilities are unbelievably old.
