Excellent service, we were lost and called the hotel for directions, and the staff actually came to the station to meet us, so sweet of him. Complimentary breakfast was good and filling for us to start our sightseeing journey. Location conveniently located within 5-10mins from Nikko Tobu station and supermarket. Will be again next year for sure.

The hotel gets off at Kinugawa Onsen Station. There is no hotel car to pick up the station. There are shuttle buses for hot spring hotels. Get on the bus at bus stop No. 5 and tell the driver the name of the hotel. Don't walk there. It's inconvenient to push the luggage. It's also good to walk for 15 minutes without luggage. The appearance of the hotel is a bit old. Don't miss this hotel because of the appearance! The hotel has a sense of history and there is an introduction on the wall. Although it is very old, it is very clean. The room is quite large and clean. The room facing Kinugawa has a good view, but the sound of running water is very loud, which has no effect on our good sleep. The hotel hot spring is quite large. The men and women hot springs will change places in the morning, and you can experience different pools. The hot spring is clean and there are not many people. You can also scan the code to check whether the hot spring is crowded or not, and go when there are few people. The hotel has free afternoon tea at 3 pm. The snacks are delicious and the ice cream is also very good. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are particularly rich, and every kind of food is delicious. We stayed for three nights and had a great time every day! All the waiters in the hotel are very warm and friendly! The bus from the hotel to the station needs to be booked in advance!

Accommodation and meals are quite good

Location wise, it will be suggested to either drive a rental car or use taxi service around Nikko Walking is not possible at night as it’s very dark Front desk staff are very polite and helpful 👍 Rooms are clean and brightly lit, worth the price and very cosy Enjoyed the pantry with coffee machine No breakfast area but a toaster, coffee machine and some kitchen appliances are ready for use Beds are comfy

Location and hospitality from the staff are the stand outs for this hotel. 5 min walk from Tobu-Nikko station and just opposite JR Nikko station. Lots of dining options around so not to worry but the nearest convenience store is actually not that near. For my stay, it came with free breakfast every day though I only had it for one day because I wanted to try out other breakfast/ coffee places in Nikko. There’s onsen in the hotel, both indoor and outdoor so this is also a plus point. However, the hotel itself is a bit tired and desperately needs a renovation.

The Kinugawa Golden Valley Hotel includes breakfast and dinner. It is very cost-effective. I like the grapefruit wine here. The environment is also very elegant. The whole service is convenient, the transportation is convenient, and the friend introduces it.

The meal was delicious. The hot spring was also the best.

當時被這壯麗的河景温泉吸引決定一定要住一次，在紅葉最好的季節景色絕對一流。房間很大也很新只是陽台比較撿漏，晚餐是坐在榻榻米上吃的不是太習慣，餐食味道整體一般，那須牛肉很好吃就是少了點。缺點是温泉的温度有點高，旅館的細節可以更好一點。
