GGuest UserThe service was superb, every staff member's smile felt genuinely heartfelt, making us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Our room was upgraded, which was a lovely surprise and made for a very comfortable stay. The location is also fantastic, convenient for getting anywhere we wanted. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the breakfast selection could vary a bit more each day. We'll definitely choose Huaman Hotel first next time we're in Kunming!

After landing at the airport, I took the subway to Wuyi Station, and it was just a short 5-8 minute walk to the hotel – perfect for someone who prefers convenience. The hotel entrance had greeters who, despite only having three small steps, were quick to help with my luggage (a basic service, but appreciated). Every staff member I encountered made eye contact and greeted me warmly, showing excellent training in service etiquette. I was very pleased with the room as well. Both the size and the bathroom met my expectations. I especially loved the overhead shower – the water pressure was fantastic, really invigorating, haha! Being right next to a pedestrian street meant food, drinks, and entertainment were all readily available. A local recommended a restaurant called 'Huidai,' which gets busy, so it’s best to go early to avoid the queue. I also fell in love with the Yunnan-style lemon tea, particularly the glutinous rice-flavored one. The gym was quite spacious and even had yoga mats and foam rollers, which were great for muscle relaxation – a nice bonus! Breakfast was plentiful. I particularly enjoyed a yellow, porridge-like dish – I forget its name, but it was located in the innermost section. Oh, and if you ever get lost in the pedestrian street, you can just look up for the hotel's name to find your way back. It acts as a pretty good landmark! The service was really good, but my favorite part was definitely the bathroom, hahahaha!

AAda-88_09The overall room environment was nice, and it was pretty quiet for sleeping. Outside the window, there were small villas under a blue sky with white clouds, making the entire room layout and design quite comfortable. It had a smart toilet and really hot water. The most pleasant surprise was the design of the toothpaste – it came in an eco-friendly paper sachet! It's the first time I've encountered something like this, and it was a delightful surprise. This kind of environmental packaging must be much more eco-friendly than plastic. This paper sachet toothpaste is definitely worth promoting.

They even gave me two free breakfast vouchers, which was a nice surprise since breakfast wasn't included. The location right inside the airport is super convenient, so I'd definitely recommend it if you have an early flight.

MM261441****The hotel is easy to find and offers free parking. We bought a package that included complimentary small dishes, which could be enjoyed at the雅思 restaurant from 11:00 to 13:30. The food was quite good, convenient, and there was a wide variety. The breakfast was especially thoughtful, running from 7 AM all the way until 1:30 PM, which was a blessing for us late sleepers! The selection was very rich. Thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍

RRalph D.SAmenities, ive rated 3/5 to remain neutral as all we needed was a place to stay to accommodate our family of 5. Now, where do I begin, first of? if you sre arriving at this place via didi or taxi straight from the airport, do yourself a favour and get dropped off outside and walk to the entrance of the ”hotel”. If you get dropped off inside the underground parking lot, Goodluck to your driver finding the spot to drop you off that connects to the hotels' elevator (its a maze and once u get there, it looks sketchy but its alright). Now, for the location: the location is superb! You're legit right beside a large mall with Tonssssss of restaurants to eat at even late at night! It is simply very convenient. And if you dont mind walking, there's another mall down south thats about 15mins walk. Lots of things to do. The lobby, the receptionist were kind and warm. They provided water whenever asked and didn't hesitate to help where they could. The free tea upfront, although we didn't fully utilize, was a nice touch. Now for the room: we selected the largest room they had which had 3 bedrooms. The price? It was insanely good. Almost unheard of. It was between 50-70 Canadian during the time of booking. I couldn't believe it. But not all hotels are perfect, and i have to say some of the things i experienced could definitely be improved. The restroom area had some scent to it that I couldn't point out as to what the smell is. I had to leave the exhaust fan on to ensure a neutral atmosphere. It worked fyi. The living room: is huge but tell me how there's only a 2-3 people sofa available and one small chair and a table. Its a wasted space. It ought to offer a large lounging furniture at this kind of room. It felt bare. The windows: simply put, although they installed windows capable of sound deadening, the weather stripping and the latch simply doesnt bond the gaps efficiently. Meaning, coldness of the night still finds its way. Luckily, the hvac system works and the curtains are relatively thick and also automatic (adjust at will). The beds are ultra clean and the floors were relatively spotless. But there's honestly one thing that is have to think about if I ever decide to rebook. I personally don't smoke, and i requested for a deodorizing treatment for our room prior to coming. The room itself? It didn't smell like cigarettes which was awesome, but here's something I don't see bring possible to address: at night time, while I lay down and sleep, there is a smell of people smoking cigarettes whose odour is somehow able to travel through the air ducts. Like each and every night, it was the same ordeal. My son didn't say anything, my parents inlaw didn't say anything, but my wife and I, yeah we smelled it. It isnt like as if you're beside someone smoking cigarettes, but its more like a scent that goes along with the air in the room that suggest someone had smoked, just unsure when. Other than that, sure, the beds, pillows and comforters were all clean and comfy. Honestly, my family was OK with the room. The convenience and price is really really hard to beat. Like it is extremely beyond belief affordable. Perhaps id reconsider staying here again if we were in kunming. We'll see.

LLuxiangbeibeiMy friend highly recommended this place, saying the area is fantastic and super convenient, and the shuttle service was a huge plus. The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
