BBianfuxiaBooking the Grand Hyatt was a complete surprise! I initially thought it would just be a place to crash in Lanzhou, but the service here was truly exceptional. As soon as we got out of the car, staff members were there to help with our luggage. COCO at the front desk found out that a couple in our group was celebrating their wedding anniversary, and she kindly upgraded us to a river view room free of charge. She even gave us recommendations for local restaurants, which made us feel incredibly welcome and warm.

FFionafanttThe room, as always, maintained Hanting's consistent style: clean, tidy, and well-laid out. The breakfast offered classic Lanzhou flavors, with both the beef noodles and egg milk *laozao* (fermented glutinous rice dessert) being delicious. The egg milk *laozao* was especially good, the best I've had these past few days, even better than Lao Ma's! I highly recommend future guests try it. Water, coffee, and tea are self-service in the lobby, which is very guest-friendly. The location is unbeatable; the hotel is right at the entrance to the food street, making it convenient for dining and catching a taxi, and popular attractions are within walking distance. Extremely satisfied! 👍

✈✈maermingziyaobaqi✈Since I chose the Crown Hotel in Lanzhou New District for a business trip, I still believe that they are a brand of InterContinental. The check-in staff has a strong sense of service, the hotel facilities are also very good, and the swimming pool is very clean, so it is worth recommending.

GGuest UserNice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

Service: Check-in is handled at the 51st-floor reception. Staff member Zhang Meng patiently assisted with the check-in process, thoroughly explaining the afternoon tea and breakfast/dinner times, and even noted these times on the room card holder. This meticulous and thoughtful service was truly heartwarming. Other front desk staff, the concierge, and the parking attendants were equally attentive. Service response was also very prompt. We truly felt like honored guests.
Facilities: The executive room is located high above, offering expansive views. The room is spacious, featuring smart appliances and a wet/dry separated bathroom. The bedding is comfortable.
Cleanliness: Impeccable. The linens were clean and odorless.
Dining Experience: The executive lounge's afternoon tea was exquisite and offered panoramic views. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, perfectly balanced for nutrition. The beef noodles, especially, were freshly pulled and cooked, with an authentic taste that was unforgettable.

Ppowerlong88Having stayed at Days Inn several times in the US, I didn't hesitate to choose it here in Lanzhou. The location is absolutely fantastic, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's within walking distance of the Yellow River Iron Bridge! I'll definitely pick this hotel again next time I'm in Lanzhou!

GGuest UserLocation is great! Especially for concertgoers, walkable distance to the olympic stadium. Just across the street from Wanda Mall. Some food hawkers on the street at night as well.
Aircon was installed on the first floor near the windows, so not much cool air on the second floor of the loft. Had to buy a fan to deal with the heat.
Toilet was SUPER slippery as well. Not sure if the room we got was left unused for a long time, but the smell was terrible when we first got there. Had to flush the toilet with boiling water several times to get rid of the smell.
Overall good value for the price and location but a few design flaws.
