Hotels with Gym and Fitness Centre in Osaka

This is my second time in Osaka, and I chose the Waldorf Astoria again. The room facilities are excellent, and it's super convenient to walk to all the major department stores in Umeda from the hotel's underground access. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing. Apart from congee, there were no other Japanese food options at the breakfast buffet, only an à la carte set. While it was very refined, for the price, there should definitely be more Japanese food options included in the buffet.

The location is fantastic – it's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and not far from Osaka's iconic Glico Man and Shinsaibashi, as long as you can navigate well. Upon entering the hotel, there's a subtle, pleasant aroma that immediately makes you feel comfortable. For Japan, the room size is quite generous; of course, there are bigger ones, but I believe in Japan, the price and room size are definitely proportional to the value for money. The front desk staff, regardless of the time, always served with a smile and answered questions diligently. Yes, I mean diligently – they genuinely put their hearts into serving guests. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, which I didn't even dwell on. I simply mentioned it casually late at night when exchanging coins. To my surprise, when I returned to the hotel the next afternoon after shopping, I found an apology card and some fruit in my room. They truly value guest satisfaction and the quality of their hotel. If I visit Osaka again, this hotel will definitely be my top choice.

• Train noise is a major issue. The nearby railway can seriously affect sleep and overall comfort, especially for light sleepers or guests staying in track-facing rooms. • Room preference is not guaranteed. Even if you request a higher floor or quieter room at check-in, the hotel may not be able to accommodate it. • Sound insulation seems weak. Guest reports mention noise from trains, hallways, and sometimes adjacent rooms, which suggests poor acoustic comfort. • Room allocation can be disappointing. Some guests feel the room they received did not match their expectations for quietness or location. • Service recovery may be limited. When issues arise, the hotel may apologize but not offer a practical solution such as a room change or upgrade. • Overall stay quality can be affected by location trade-offs. The hotel may be convenient, but that convenience comes with noise exposure.

## Facilities: The hotel offers a good range of amenities. The room has a TV with screen mirroring capabilities, a mini-fridge, and bright lighting. There's also a safe near the entrance. However, bottled water isn't provided; you need to use your own bottle to refill. On the second floor, by the front desk, there are many self-service items available, such as hair ties, combs, and small packets of skincare products. ## Housekeeping: The room was cleaned daily, with the bed made and hair tidied up. ## Location & Environment: The hotel is very close to Exit 3 of Kitahama Subway Station, and Doyabashi Subway Station is about a 10-minute walk away, making it convenient to get to Umeda, Universal Studios, and Shinsaibashi. There's also a FamilyMart convenience store right outside, where you can find pretty much any drinks and snacks you might want. The area is quiet at night, and the room's soundproofing is quite good. ## Service: Upon check-in, we had to pay the accommodation tax, and the staff gave us two tokens that could be exchanged for drinks on the second floor. Since we don't drink alcohol, we chose two juices, which tasted a bit tart. Both check-in and check-out were done via machines, which was quite convenient.

I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday and paid nearly TWD 9,000 for one night, expecting a memorable stay. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. I requested a room with a view of the Tenjin Festival fireworks through Trip.com almost two months before my stay. Trip.com later confirmed that this request had been forwarded to the hotel. However, I was only informed at check-in that my room would not have a fireworks view, leaving me with no opportunity to change my room or book another hotel. What disappointed me even more was the attitude of the front desk staff. When I asked whether my request had been received, I was met with a questioning tone and was asked if I had actually sent the message. I was then told that the hotel had only received information that it was my birthday, and that rooms with fireworks views were more expensive. However, I later checked the hotel’s official website and found that the price for those rooms was very similar to what I had already paid through Trip.com. Instead of trying to understand or resolve the situation, the staff repeatedly told me to contact Trip.com and insisted that it was not the hotel’s responsibility. Later, Trip.com informed me that they had indeed forwarded my request to the hotel but never received a response. The room itself was clean and the facilities were nice, but good facilities cannot make up for poor customer service. I expected much better hospitality from a Hilton property, especially on such an important occasion. Sadly, this experience ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. I hope the hotel will improve its communication with booking partners and provide better training for its front desk staff so that future guests do not experience the same disappointment.

This was my first time choosing this place for a business trip. The location was great, not too far from the station. I picked it because I dislike the noisy and chaotic central tourist areas, and I was ultimately satisfied with my choice. It’s a good place to experience local charm, and it only takes about 15 minutes or less by subway to get to the city center, which I thought was quite reasonable. The facilities were clean and trendy, which I liked. The large communal bath, only big enough for two people, was always crowded and required a wait, but I figured it was better than not having one at all. However, regarding the cleaning service, it would have been better if they had communicated more clearly that requests needed to be made the day before. After two days, I asked for cleaning at the front desk when I was heading out, but it was refused. I think a bit more flexibility in their policy would be beneficial. Anyway, the overall facilities were decent, and I would be willing to stay here again in the future.

Prime location. Eateries and shopping near hotel. Hotel room lighting is dimmed in comparison to other hotel. The lift and walkway is dimmed. There's no closet in the room however few hangers were provided. The sink is in the room and not in the bathroom.There's a washing machine which has a loud chime, which might disturb your sleep if it was used at night. Check in was fast however I was not informed on the welcome drinks and free amenities during checked in. So it was missed out. There was a picture frame hung on top of one of the bed which i felt that it was inappropriate, and posed as a safety hazard to the one sleeping underneath the picture frame. Another consideration for friends sharing twin room as there was no privacy due to shower area has no hook or shelf to place clothing. So basically have to change out in the room or in the toilet. Room size is good for big luggages for a twin sharing room. Overall, still a good option as the location is fantastic! Clean and quiet rooms too.

Simply the best onsen I’ve ever been. There is a huge sauna theatre and many smaller ones with some differences. Many individual tubs for those who wants to enjoy by themselves. It’s amazing and I would definitely come again. Location is not the most popular ones but it’s just two stations away so it’s not a problem. Breakfast is ok.

The hotel is very close to Umeda, so much so that I could still squeeze in some sightseeing in the morning before my afternoon flight. The location gets a big thumbs up! 👍🏾👍🏾 Even a standard room offers beautiful city views. 👍🏾👍🏾 However, aside from two bottles of mineral water, no other complimentary drinks were provided. 😶

Location: Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet. There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day) Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage Hotel Room: We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything. Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay Hotel features: Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views. The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free. The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful Overview: 100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.
