YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

IIrisYeatsFacilities: The hotel is a bit old but well-maintained. They have self-service luggage lockers, which is very convenient. Cleanliness: Very clean, and they provide various travel-sized toiletries like facial cleanser, which is a nice touch. Environment: Located right next to the Universal Studios subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient.

EEeveeatsWe’ve been to Japan a few times now and we officially decided Namba is a ‘no’ for this trip, too much chaos. Instead, we stayed right at the doorstep of the Osaka Umeda JR station. It’s that perfect sweet spot where you’re surrounded by every restaurant and konbini imaginable, but it’s actually quiet and tucked away with good sound proofing. I originally booked a room with no windows but they were so sweet and upgraded us for free. The room was actually decent sized for Japan standards, I could actually walk around the bed and the bed itself was a dream. Honestly, if you want the convenience of Umeda without the noise, this is the move. 10/10 first stop.

Hotel provided Lamer lotion and shower shampoo!! Although hotel look abit old but clean!! Provide daily cleaning option, and the hotel staff are very friendly, they can always assist you if have any questions or issue. CChuanxiaofudehonglingjinFor my trip to Japan, I bought a 1.5-day Universal Studios ticket, so I booked two nights at this hotel! It's located just 180 meters from the main entrance of Universal Studios, which is a prime location. Also, thanks to my government's restrictions on officials traveling to Japan, we non-government personnel were able to book such a luxurious hotel (a 27 sqm room, which is practically a mansion in Japan, haha!) for just over 500 RMB, even during the popular autumn leaf season. I hope my government further intensifies sanctions on Japan, so we non-government personnel can plan our next trip there! Much appreciated!

MM522219****Fantastic hotel! The value for money here is really great! Facilities: The style is very upscale! I had a very comfortable stay! It doesn't feel like a cheap budget hotel at all; in fact, it has a bit of a high-end hotel vibe. Cleanliness: This was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in during this trip… The foreign young lady who cleaned my room was very thorough and polite! Service: The Japanese staff at the front desk were just okay, but the foreign-looking service staff, especially a young lady, was incredibly friendly! She proactively helped me and was very enthusiastic! I’ll definitely stay here again! It's a really good hotel; I was a bit hesitant to book after reading some reviews at first… This hotel seems to have quite a few Korean guests.

MM49235****The hotel shares facilities with Spa World. When I visited, it was decorated for Christmas. The room itself was decent, but they don't provide slippers, which was a bit inconvenient. For dining, you can eat at the large cafeteria on the third floor of Spa World or at one of their other restaurants. There's a good variety of choices, and the prices are reasonable.

AAmarFromUKLocation: Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet. There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day) Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage Hotel Room: We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything. Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay Hotel features: Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views. The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free. The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful Overview: 100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.

YYL10001Hotel Review: Serene Elegance Boutique Hotel I recently stayed at Serene Elegance Boutique Hotel during my trip, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Location: The hotel enjoys a prime location in the city center—just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. It’s surrounded by local restaurants, convenience stores, and major attractions, making it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and dining. Check-in Experience: The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The lobby was clean, beautifully decorated, and subtly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere upon arrival. Room Comfort and Amenities: I stayed in a Deluxe King Room, which was spacious, well-lit, and tastefully designed in a modern minimalist style. The bed was extremely comfortable with crisp, clean linens. The room included high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, a mini fridge, and a kettle—everything I needed. The bathroom featured a separate shower area, strong water pressure, and high-quality toiletries. Breakfast: Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered a wide range of options, from Western-style dishes to traditional local fare. There were fresh fruits, hot porridge, eggs cooked to order, and baked goods. The dining area was elegant, and the staff were attentive, often checking in to offer coffee or tea refills. Service: The service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. Housekeeping was thorough, and any requests were responded to promptly. The staff were always friendly and professional, adding a personal touch to the stay. Minor Downsides: If I had to point out one small flaw, it would be the slightly thin walls—some hallway noise was audible in the evening. However, it didn’t significantly disrupt my sleep. Overall: This hotel offers fantastic value for money and is a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I’ll definitely return on my next visit to the city.
