GGuest UserThe hotel lobby had a wonderful fragrance. Breakfast was excellent, and they even offered free hotdogs in the evening. They also helped me find a balloon I'd lost in the restaurant. For this price, the value for money is unbeatable. It's only a 5-10 minute drive to Universal Studios, and there are plenty of amenities nearby.

SSoooooonThe hotel is very clean and well-maintained, though the room size is quite small, which is fairly typical for Japan. Amenities are conveniently provided at an amenity bar in the lobby, allowing guests to pick up what they need. The location is one of the biggest highlights. Just a 5 minutes walk away is Temmabashi Station, which offers easy train access to Kyoto and other parts of Osaka. Directly opposite the hotel is Keihan City Mall, where you can find popular stores like Uniqlo, GU, and Muji, making shopping very convenient. Osaka Castle is also within walking distance, which is great for sightseeing. There are convenience stores such as FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, so getting food or daily essentials is very easy. Another plus is the Airport Limousine Bus stop located behind Keihan City Mall, which provides a direct ride to Kansai International Airport in about an hour for 1800 yen. Tickets can be booked online, and the hotel staff are helpful if you need assistance. This makes it especially convenient for both arrival and departure. Overall, it’s a great choice if you value cleanliness, convenience, and accessibility. Perfect for exploring Osaka and making day trips to Kyoto too.

LLanjingdewanghouFacilities: All the basics are covered, and they even provide a small stool in the bathroom, which is a thoughtful touch. Hygiene: Extremely clean and tidy. The wet and dry areas in the bathroom are well-separated. Environment: Right outside is Universal Studios and the JR station, making it super convenient to get around. Service: Warm and patient. Even with a language barrier, communication was effortless. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

HhhhooolllyyyooollloooBooked this hotel blindly for my USJ trip – stayed for 5 nights in total. The location is fantastic, right outside the JR station, and only about a 5-6 minute walk to USJ. The room was a bit small. The bedding had an unidentifiable, dirty smell, and the towels also had quite a few black stains. Looking at the uploaded photo, I remember booking a triple room (twin beds + sofa bed). The sofa bed didn't have any bedding. When I asked the front desk, they said there was bedding in a closet that I needed to make myself. 😓 For 1200-1500 a night, I felt the service was a bit lacking.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right across from Fukushima Station, with a direct Kanku Express line to the airport. It's also just a 3-minute walk to the Hanshin Line station for trips to Kobe. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the service is excellent. We booked two rooms, and they proactively arranged for them to be on the same floor. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Osaka.

GGuest UserThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second, upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.

AAnonymous UserComing from Kansai Airport, you do have to transfer a few times on the subway. However, the hotel is very close to Juso Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Juso Station has a food street, so dining is super convenient! It's not crowded around at night, so sleeping is very, very quiet! There's a convenience store at the intersection, and Don Quijote is just across the main road! There's also Daikoku Drugstore nearby! Although breakfast is simple, it changes a bit every day, which shows a lot of thought. You'll definitely be full and satisfied! The lobby also has vending machines with beer, drinks, and ice cream! All your normal needs can be met here! Personally, I think even though the location is a little out of the way, it makes up for it in value for money, and transferring subways is still very convenient~

AAmarFromUKLocation: Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet. There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day) Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage Hotel Room: We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything. Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay Hotel features: Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views. The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free. The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful Overview: 100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.

JJohn BtstIt's easy to reach the hotel from Juso Station. However, getting to popular stations like Osaka-Umeda, Shin-Osaka, or Namba requires transferring between multiple trains. The room is spacious and airy, and I especially liked the large bed bathroom. Towels and pillows were clean and odor-free One downside was the bathroom ventilation fan—it made a loud noise and should probably be replaced.

JJannnattThe staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. I arrived early to check in, so I left my luggage with them. When I returned, they had already taken my bags up to my room. The location is perfect for those looking to explore outside the city, as it's not far from both the train station and JR station. There's also a 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby, so it doesn't feel isolated. A solo female traveler would feel safe staying here. The room wasn't too small and was very clean. The bathroom was spacious and looked new.
