Hilton Osaka Hotel

Much better than the reviews suggest, this is a fantastic hotel. It's surrounded by shopping centers, right in the heart of Umeda. I'll definitely be back. You actually don't need to walk on the street to get to the shopping areas; they're all connected underground, but you do need to get familiar with the layout first.

The location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Osaka Station, and you can even get there via an underground passage if it's raining. Right next door is the Shiki Theatre Company and a ton of popular restaurants.

Facilities: The bedding was comfortable, and the bathtub was great! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: It's right opposite Osaka Station, a prime location, and the Umeda night view is beautiful. Service: The staff were very enthusiastic.

The room was a bit small, I booked a twin room for 2200 a night at the end of May. It was okay though, haha, the location is great, very convenient to get anywhere. It's right next to the station, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Hermes is right downstairs. Facilities: Quite new Cleanliness: Decent Ambiance: It's an older building, so a bit dated Service: Very good, I forgot my credit card and didn't have cash, but they still let me check in without a pre-authorization deposit.

Location: The hotel is right above a subway station, so getting to Kyoto and Kobe is super easy with no transfers needed. It's about a 30-minute subway ride. Getting to Shin-Osaka for a connection to Tokyo is also convenient, just one stop away. There are luxury brands like Hermes, LV, and Bvlgari downstairs, and Hankyu, Hanshin, and Daimaru department stores nearby, making shopping very convenient. Room Decor and Facilities: The hotel decor is a bit dated, and the facilities are average, but the cleanliness is good. Service: The service was excellent. Soundproofing: The soundproofing was also quite good.

Facilities: The lobby is very stylish, though the room is a bit small, especially the bathroom where there's hardly space to turn around. However, the bed is huge, made of two single beds pushed together, and it was the most comfortable sleep I had on this trip. Cleanliness: It's very clean. Ambiance: It's considered one of the more upscale hotels in the area, with many foreign guests staying here. Service: Overall, the service was very satisfying. Location: The location is also very convenient; Hankyu + Lucua are all you need for shopping.

I used to stay here every year, but after this experience, I'll never return. The room carpet smelled of urine, the sink wasn't cleaned properly, and one day they didn't even provide hand towels! The cups weren't washed either!!

Extremely convenient for both transportation and shopping. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but it's close to Hilton Plaza East, and right across the street from Louis Vuitton, just for your reference.
