joanna0919From the moment I stepped through the hotel entrance, I felt right at home! Every single staff member treated guests with genuine care and attentiveness. The room size was also the biggest I've ever had in all my trips to Japan! The pajamas provided by the turndown service were incredibly comfortable too! The hotel's night view is also one of the best around. Highly, highly recommend!

Guest UserExceeded my expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, equipped with a washer/dryer, microwave, fridge, kitchenware, dining table, and even a desk. It's perfect for families traveling with kids, catering to everyone's needs. Daily cleaning was impeccable; the window glass was wiped clean every day, free of fingerprints or water marks, offering beautiful views outside. The bedding was comfortable, the AC didn't blow directly on my face, the shower water was great, and it was perfectly soundproof with no noise, so I slept very well. The location is convenient, surrounded by various malls, bus stops, and convenience stores. The hotel's swimming pool is also kid-friendly. I'd definitely choose InterContinental and this room type again on my next visit!

WenxinyidianerAn absolutely amazing experience! I've already recommended this hotel to so many friends. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm and heartfelt service that makes you feel right at home. The room was incredibly spacious, and it offered a direct view of Osaka Castle. I've been to Osaka many times, but this was the first time I'd seen the castle so clearly and in its entirety. It's truly stunning when the lights come on at night. The breakfast also offered a fantastic variety. Thumbs up!

Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The facilities are excellent, offering great value for money, and I truly felt at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it!

Anonymous UserRWe chose this hotel specifically to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We requested a higher-floor room in advance, but unfortunately it wasn’t provided. There was also no special setup or decoration in the room, and the front desk never mentioned anything about it.
The room view was average, and the hotel is a bit of a walk from Shinsaibashi Station. The elevator had a noticeable unpleasant odour when going from the ground floor to the 3rd floor. Overall, the experience was just average.
For comparison, we stayed two nights at another hotel during the same trip that was slightly cheaper, but the overall feeling and quality were noticeably better than at this W hotel.

The location is extremely convenient. If you're looking for an old-school hotel vibe, you might find it here, but the facilities are really outdated – I couldn't stand them. The showerhead was in the bathtub and there was no separate shower, which was a real deal-breaker for me. I'll definitely stick to newer hotels from now on. The Japanese restaurant on the fifth floor was pretty good; I had sushi for a reasonable price, with 16k and 26k options available.

Guest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Hanshin Osaka during my trip to Osaka, and overall it was a very satisfying experience, especially for a first-time solo traveler visiting the city.
One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is definitely its excellent location. The hotel is conveniently connected to transportation, making it extremely easy to travel to many of Osaka’s famous attractions and shopping areas. Whether I wanted to visit Dotonbori, Umeda, Osaka Castle, or even take day trips to nearby cities, getting around was smooth and stress-free. For someone traveling alone and unfamiliar with Osaka, staying here made the entire trip feel much more comfortable and convenient.
Another thing that impressed me was the service provided by the hotel staff. The front desk employees were always polite, professional, and welcoming. They greeted guests with genuine smiles and were very helpful whenever I had questions. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, they still tried their best to assist me, which made me feel appreciated as a guest. Good hospitality can really affect the overall travel experience, and this hotel certainly delivered in that aspect.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained. Although the room size was slightly small, which is quite common in Japan, the facilities inside were surprisingly complete and thoughtfully arranged. Everything I needed was provided, and the layout was efficient enough that I still felt comfortable during my stay. The in-room hot spring bath was also a very enjoyable feature. After spending long hours walking around Osaka every day, being able to relax in the warm bath at night was incredibly refreshing and helped me recover from fatigue.
If I had to mention one downside, it would only be the limited room space. However, considering the location, service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, I still think this hotel offers great value overall.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka for the first time, especially solo travelers who want a convenient, comfortable, and reliable place to stay.

cici0414The hotel was very clean, and the front desk staff were all incredibly nice and super patient! The location is really convenient – you just take the Karasuma Line to Shijo Station, and it's right outside exit 6. There's a Starbucks, a Torikizoku (yakitori restaurant), and a drug store right by the hotel entrance. Daimaru department store is only a few minutes' walk away, and if you keep going past Daimaru, you can reach Shinkyogoku and Takashimaya. I originally booked three nights but ended up staying a whole week! It's not noisy at night, except for the occasional motorcycle. Highly recommend! The first picture shows the hotel's location.

The room was a bit small, but it was very clean and tidy! The front desk offers self-service check-in/out, and toiletries are available on the first floor. There's also a lounge where you can grab a coffee. The hotel's highlight is its hot spring, which comes with complimentary popsicles, Yakult, and late-night ramen. There are several baths, including an open-air one, which was very relaxing. After a soak, you can grab a popsicle with various flavors. The hotel breakfast was quite extensive, and the udon noodles and sashimi were delicious. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money.

Amanzhol YestekovLocals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual.
There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths:
two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C.
You dip in and instantly feel alive.
One unique feature — every hour they run a group steam ritual, like a collective massage & heat therapy session. Very Japanese, and surprisingly affordable. Definitely worth trying.
There’s also an inexpensive breakfast option, plus vending machines with food and drinks right inside — very convenient.
Overall, it’s a men-only vibe: arrive, clean up, relax, reset, and go about your day.
The capsule is just a bonus on top of the sauna experience.
They give you clothing — not a robe, but loose Japanese pants and an oversized T-shirt.
You get your own locker, bedding and clothes are changed daily, and the bathrooms have literally everything: toothbrush, toothpaste, gels, shampoo… even nail clippers. You don’t need to bring anything.
Location is fantastic — right next to Dotonbori. Step outside and you’re instantly in the heart of Osaka’s nightlife and energy.
Downsides?
A strict checkout — you must leave at 10:00 AM, and check-in starts only after 3:00 PM.
If you want to stay during that gap, it’s around 300 yen per hour, or ~900 yen for the day.
Still — great experience. I always wanted to try a real Japanese capsule stay.
Inside the capsule there’s a TV, radio, adjustable lights, and AC — though it blasts pretty strongly, so I turned it off.
