We got a great deal with Trip and stayed on the Club floor for 2 nights. The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find when you are walking through the mall. Checked in at the Club floor and it was very efficient. Room was very spacious and very clean. Club floor experience was excellent with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. We had particularly good experience with the afternoon cocktails as they made lots of different ones for us that was not the standard menu.

It was an amazing stay in the Hotel with an Onsen place right in the same complex. Super convenient as it’s just opposite to a JR station, but do look for the right exit which connect to the hotel with a easy accessible walk over a footbridge - going the bumpy and chaotic way along the street with all our luggages weren’t fun. It’s chic & chill, and with an amazing view! The sunset was nice - I was up before 4:30am to catch it.

Conclusion I will never stay at ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka again. The room was the smallest I have ever been at and part of the window was blocked by a wall outside the room. The check in and check out was chaos with a huge queue. The hotel is outdated too. The only positive thing regarding this hotel is the club lounge. Review I arrived with the Shinkassen at Osaka station and the hotel is in walking distance from station. The train station is huge, and I was difficult to find the right exit. The hotel is located in a business area, but there are a lot of restaurants, bars and shops in the neighborhood. Not the right area, if you are a turist. I arrived at 2 pm, where I could not get me room even I am an IHG diamond member. Came back after a couple of hours, where there was a huge queue. Check-in took between 45-60 min. It was the same situation, when I should check out. It is not possible to check out in the IHG app. Even I have the highest status in the IHG program, I got the smallest room in the hotel. It was not possible to open my suitcase in the room - i don’t want it on the bed. The window was partly blocked by wall outside the window. The room is very outdated. I had access to the club lounge, where I had a couple of drinks during the evening and breakfast in the morning. The lounges was ok but it was busy.

Stayed at Swissôtel Nankai Osaka and couldn’t be happier with the location. It's a 5-minute walk to Namba Osaka Station via the underground, and Namba Nankai Station is right beneath the hotel—super convenient for getting around! The water pressure in the rooms is excellent, making showers refreshing after a long day. Plus, the Japanese bath on level 11 is a wonderful perk for relaxation. Recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay in Osaka!

Centara Grand Hotel Osaka exceeded my expectations! It’s one of the best hotel I’ve stayed in Osaka. The room was spacious, nice, quiet, and clean. The customer service was great. The location is perfect, short distance walk to the metro stations and Dotombori. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel in near the shopping areas, this hotel is 100% recommended. I would go back again. 😉

Although I was not staying at the W, the MIXup cafe is a fun spot in the middle of Osaka to have a tea or coffee and their amazing dessert(s). I was looking to try their seasonal dessert, the strawberry mille feuille, although it was already sold out when I arrived. This gives me another reason to return soon! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, I was swiftly shown to my table that I reserved ahead of time (thanks, Marriott Bonvoy), and was walked through the menu and how their orders work. Many teas to choose from, and the cake I chose was plated so beautifully. The chantilly cream with the berries - out of this world! The entire experience was smooth, and I was delighted with the level of service provided. In a way, this is ”normal” and expected for Japan, but I want to highlight that I really enjoyed this visit and look forward to going back.

All reviews are based on the room on the 32nd floor where I stayed and my own experience.
Let me start with the main point. The hotel is too new. The room smells, smells, and smells, especially the walk-in closet! I wanted to try it, but I was taught a lesson by reality. If you bring your children or mind the smell of the decoration, come back at least 3-6 months later.
Advantages: Nice night view. Soft slippers. New facilities. The walk-in closet is very large. The refrigerator is very good and has a full range of products. You can have anything you want to drink in the middle of the night. The coffee pot is from fellow, and the nuts in the room are delicious. The hotel TV projection is smooth. The shower facilities are clean.
There is still room for improvement:
The location is not easy to find. No taxi driver can quickly recognize the location. You have to check it on the roadside for a long time. It seems that because it is too new, the navigation on the taxi did not enter this address.
The front desk pretended not to understand Chinese and said that he could not speak a bit of Chinese. After checking in, I suddenly saw his name tag and asked him in Chinese, ”Isn't your surname Chen?” He immediately made a 🤫 gesture to me, smiled awkwardly and whispered that the rules do not allow speaking Chinese. I asked him if he was *********, and he nodded vaguely. You can experience it yourself🤷.
The welcome service is two bottles of mineral water and disposable towels.
When the room fee is paid in advance, a deposit of 60,000 Japanese yen is collected.
There is no service of sending upstairs and introducing the room. I don't know why this Four Seasons Hotel does not have such a basic service.
I communicated with the hotel in advance that I would bring children and needed children's products in the room. After three communications, the hotel said that they would be prepared, but there were no children's products in the room.
There was no welcome fruit, but two cupcakes with DIY frosting and marshmallows were given. Maybe they think this is children's products.
I got a corner room on the 32nd floor. It may have just been renovated. The door smelled of renovation. The cloakroom smelled even worse because it was completely enclosed. There was a numbered sticky note on the door, which was not removed by the service staff until I checked out.
The pillow was very uncomfortable. Remember to ask the room service for a harder pillow.
The TV welcome addressed the guest without the last name.
The night bed was better on the first day. In the following days, the pillow was not moved away or the quilt was tucked away, and the slippers were not taken out. Maybe this is the rule of this Four Seasons.
The bathtub is square, not long, and the shower position is a bit strange. I feel that it is not very comfortable to use.
I especially hope that the room manager can use the hair dryer himself. The sound is huge! And my hands are numb after drying my hair. The coffee pot is so good, the hair dryer can be improved.
The texture of the towel is not good, it is very hard, the bathrobe is also wrinkled, and the belt I got one day has flying edges. They really don’t treat me as an outsider.
The air conditioner is weird. You can't adjust it to heat or cool. The temperature is set by the guest and the air conditioner decides it by itself. When the air volume is turned off, it is cold below 20 degrees and hot above. I don't understand this.
You can hear the sound of cars passing by in the room at night, and there is always a white noise. I don't know if it is the refrigerator or the toilet, buzzing. Oh yes, the pens in the room are broken.
There are many other things that I won't go into. In short, this experience is not pleasant, and it has worn away the good impression that Four Seasons left on me before. Considering the room fee of 12,000 for three days, there are many other options. I may not patronize this brand for a long time.

Extremely bad service especially for a luxury hotel.
Air-condition in room was hardly working, very suffocating for summer. Explained it to the night receptionist. Who immediately replied why could we bear with it on the first night. Sent a fellow service staff who stuck a temperature rod deep into the vent to show the air con was working fine. Couldn’t understand that there was no wind.
On the check out day, asked the concierge on the ground floor to help book a bigger taxi in the morning as there were more people and bags. The person replied “yes, yes, yes”. Came back in late afternoon to confused looks.

Concierge: We emailed the hotel weeks in advance of our stay to assist with bookings. Weeks would pass before they would respond, and multiple follow up emails were required to get a response. They did successfully book one 3 Michelin star restaurant to which we owe them significant credit. However, when we arrived and asked basic requests such as where to find restaurants or stores, the concierge was usually very short and had no suggestions. We were better off consulting Google maps. And this for a 5 star concierge service? In addition, the English skills of many of the concierge staff were extremely limited. While I know some Japanese, it should not be required at a hotel of this calibre. In fact, when visiting Japan, a 5 star hotel should have fluent English speakers for most front facing staff. Hotel Condition: The hotel has significant and noticeable wear and tear. We were in a Grand Deluxe Suite and when I arrived, a man was literally gluing on a piece of the door that had torn off. The woodwork throughout the suite was heavily scratched and dented including tables. The carpet was worn thin, and the sofa's velvet exterior was worn. In any event, for a hotel suite whose copay was $500+ per night, this was disappointing. Check out Process: The check out process was extremely troubling and disappointing. We asked for a Butler to assist with bags multiple times, and even after 45 minutes they did not come up to our room to collect our bags. This resulted in us having to drag our bags down to the lobby ourselves, as we were rushing for a Shinkansen train. Normally, this would have been fine, but we had a lot of luggage. The significantly wait time for luggage assistance is not characteristic of a St. Regis. Hidden Taxes and No Final Folio Provided: The hotel has some hidden taxes associated with rooms that have copays for upgrades. While we expected to pay 50,000 yen per night + about 37,000 yen in total taxes (about 5600 yen per night in tax), we did not expect too many additional taxes. Yet there was another 6500 or so taxes per night in taxes we were assessed. Even after numerous attempts, the hotel never sent a final folio nor explained the charges which is all I asked. General Impressions: The hotel seems poorly managed with a ”choatic” vibe in which there is not only no personalized guests are vying for the attention for concierge staff who are stretched too thin with minimal English skills. While I understand this is a busy time for the hotel, the hotel should not be having any difficulty meeting basic demands of elite members even when they are at capacity. The hotel felt more like a 3-4 star hotel than a St. Regis. Among St. Regis hotels, this one was a major disappointment.

The location is quite good. Next to the Umeda Sky Building so it’s easy to find. However it’s a 5-10 min walk to the big department store, but the walk is okay. There is a shuttle bus service which makes it very nice also.
The room is quite big and of course everything was nice and clean.
The breakfast was amazing! I love the hotel and would stay again!

Outstanding
SSleepywinkThe hotel was located at a very convenient location. There is a big shopping mall opposite, with shopping and eateries. The size of rooms were big too. Loving it. Hotel was very thoughtful in the amenities selection. They even included DHC make up cleanser oil, facial foam, toner and face cream. Very convenient for the tired traveler. The hotel buffet breakfast was very nice too. Pretty good selection of food and drinks.
Not forgetting the superb service by the check in staff too ! Thanks, We will definitely return 😊

GGuest UserHotel is at the entrance to Universal, you can also buy tickets to the park at the hotel lobby. Great hotel for families. Probably the best location after having a long day at universal park you can come back to the hotel within minutes from leaving the park gate.
GGuest User[ENG]: I've never had such a ridiculous experience at a hotel in any country I've been to. On my final night, I returned to the hotel at around 9:30pm to drop off some things without any problem, but when I returned again about two hours later, I couldn't get into my room. After trying to enter the password several times, I went to the lobby but there was nobody at reception. Instead, there was a sign with three accounts (LINE, WhatsApp and Wechat) and a local phone number. My partner and I added two of these accounts and tried to call and message but nobody picked up or replied. I also knocked on the door to the offices but nobody replied there either. After attempting for quite a while, we finally paid for an account to call international numbers and dialed the Japanese number. The person who picked up said she was not on duty that night and that she would contact the person on shift. A bit later, that person came down in pyjamas and slippers. When I enquired why he hadn't responded to our messages and calls, he said that he was in the shower and ”why didn't [I] call the local number”. I explained the situation to him and he said he would help us after he helped a couple who was checking in (who had just arrived). This took an additional ten minutes in which we were just waiting in the hallway in front of our room with three bags. When he finally arrived, he gave lots of excuses as to why the password might have been changed, but offered zero solutions. He even asked me if I wanted to know the new password since I would be ”checking out the following morning anyway”. This unprofessional attitude completely ruined the entire experience on an otherwise lovely holiday and I write this review in four languages in the hope that nobody else has to fall victim to the same experience.
MMonielleThis hotel is clean and connected to Daimaru Mall where we could visit the pokemon Centre and Nintendo shop. Many food options are nearby and the metro station is connected too - can walk to Osaka station. We could also walk to Umeda sky building.

Excellent
Ccskphc2004The hotel is located close to the Exit 5 of the Green and Brown Lines of Osaka Metro. However, prepare a strong heart because when you arrive to the exit you will have to climb 4 floors of stairs to reach the hotel every time. The other exit with lift is further away. The hotel itself I will only classify as a modernised INN rather than a stared hotel, not as per its name stated. The cleaning services are not up to the standards you would expect for normal hotels in Japan.
The breakfast itself is another downside if you live here more than four nights, because you would only have four choices everyday every time you go down. The chef made good food but, having stayed here for 9 nights you will get sick and tired of the breakfast pretty soon. Rather, I would recommend just go to local Japanese supermarkets to shop for breakfast and bento for the next day.

HHalsansanI stayed at this hotel because Aikata participated in the Osaka marathon. There is a deep shop around the hotel that can eat cheap and delicious things. If you use the hotel, you can enter and exit the hotel after checking in. The hotel has a different entrance and exit from the facility user, but you have to take off your shoes. Take your shoes to geta box and store them and walk barefoot in the hotel. Is the room simple and business hotel? However, the bed comfort was the best. There was also UB, but there was a large hot spring facility, so I didn't use the bus in the room. I was booked for one night, but this city was too fun to stay for another night. I negotiated and luckily I had a vacancy, so I ended up staying overnight.
YYingXuanLLocated in the heart of dotonburi, just a street across the main dontonburi street. Hotel is located opposite the Korean embassy, so security is good in the area. We arrived at the hotel earlier than check in time but they allowed us to check into our rooms. This hotel receives many guests, there were multiple other groups checking in at the same time as my group. Staff also speaks limited English, but was able to communicate with them using google translate. Front counter is at level 1, with a bar counter right beside. Level 2 is a lounge area, with seats and even a pool table! Gym is also located at level 2. Shared washing machines were located at level 15, but guests are required to collect a key to enter the laundry room from the front desk. Rooms were of decent size, but lighting was slightly dark in my opinion. The shampoo, body soaps, hand wash were great, I loved the smell of it!
AAnonymous UserLocation is great. Super convenient. Walking distance to Dotonbori shopping area. Lots of food options nearby. Generally a 'touristy' area. Took train out to other area as well, those with no English menu shops. Found e food outside this tourist belt slightly cheaper.

Very Good
HHE110The location is really good, just a two-minute walk from the subway exit, and close to Kuromon Market, Dotonbori and other landmarks. When checking into the hotel, the room price was around 700 (including breakfast bread, coffee and drinks). The internal space was acceptable and the sanitary conditions were satisfactory👍
