"The sheets and duvet covers caused an allergic reaction and itchiness. During my 5-night stay, the garbage bags and towels were replaced, and the sign indicated bathroom cleaning would be done, but it wasn't. For 5 nights, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, and the hair on the floor was quite unpleasant. If you're tired from sightseeing and sleep past 11 AM the next day, the trash and towels won't be changed, but you can leave dirty ones outside, and they will be replaced. The location is decent, but the nearest subway isn't convenient for getting to Shinsaibashi and Umeda. People who say it's a short walk to Shinsaibashi must be serious hikers; for normal people, especially with kids, it's very tiring, particularly when returning at night. We mostly took taxis, which cost less than 2000 JPY, which was acceptable. The upside is the good restaurants nearby; I recommend the yakitori place. I don't recommend the Western restaurant; the female staff were awful – they provided obsequious, smiling service to Japanese guests but were rude to others. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water, but it's available at the 18th-floor reception, along with freshly ground coffee and vending machines. Luggage storage is on the 1st floor. The first time I had an issue and went to the front desk, they knew they needed to go downstairs to swipe my card but didn't, instead telling me to scan an IC card with my phone. That didn't work, so I went up a second time, and another young lady instinctively took the card downstairs and swiped it for me, and it worked. This aspect of the experience was not great."

"This hotel is incredibly convenient for reaching Kansai Airport; you just cross the street after heading downstairs, and you're practically there. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants on the 8th floor right below the hotel, which is fantastic! Hoshino Coffee, which is especially delicious, is also there! The hotel staff are exceptionally warm and helpful, even assisting with check-in. During my stay, my shoes broke in the lobby, and when I needed to throw them away, a staff member proactively offered to take them. While you have to ask staff for skincare products, everything else you need can be found in the lobby. There's also a coffee machine and a cold water dispenser downstairs, which is super convenient! Each floor seems to have a water dispenser, which is why there's no bottled water in the rooms!"

"Had a great stay at karaksa grande ShinOsaka. The staff were very supportive and friendly, and the hotel offers a good variety of food choices and excellent service throughout the stay. One of the highlights was the public bath on the 3rd floor, which also comes with a sauna. It was very relaxing and refreshing, especially after a long day at work. "Cleanliness: The bathroom door frame was covered in dust, which was a first for me in a Japanese hotel – quite shocking. Environment: It's right next to Kitahama Station, with a Starbucks, Lawson, and Fresco supermarket downstairs. After 10 PM, there aren't many places to eat. Service: The staff proactively offered luggage storage when they realized I had two bookings, which was very thoughtful. There are free umbrellas at the hotel entrance. Facilities: The bathroom was so comfortable with its separate wet and dry areas, and the bathtub was large and clean. Soaking in it every night after returning to the hotel was incredibly relaxing."

"The room was generally clean and the bed was quite soft, which I personally liked. The service was overall acceptable. The front desk staff on duty that night had a strong English accent, but we could still communicate. After midnight, you need your room card to enter and exit the hotel, which feels secure. There are plenty of late-night food options nearby, and it's close to the subway station. One thing to note is that they only provide complimentary bottled water once, regardless of how many nights you stay, and the front desk won't mention it unless you ask."

"The location is fantastic, right across from Daimaru Department Store. The hotel is directly above a subway station, so you can access it without even going outside. The room size was adequate, comparable to a budget hotel back home, but the food here is much better. "Stayed at Onyado Nono Namba Natural Hot Spring and absolutely loved it. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and every staff member we met was kind, helpful and efficient. Service felt warm without being intrusive. I saw quite a few comments online saying the rooms are too small, but honestly I think it depends on which room type you book. We checked the room size before booking and found it very acceptable for Osaka standards — spacious enough to open luggage comfortably and move around without feeling cramped. One of our favourite parts was all the little extras included during the stay — the free late-night noodles every evening were surprisingly good, and the onsen was such a nice way to relax after walking all day. After the bath, there was complimentary ice cream which made the experience even better. Location is another huge plus — directly across from Dotonbori, within walking distance to Kuromon Market, and very convenient for exploring Namba and nearby areas. The whole hotel has a calm Japanese ryokan-style atmosphere while still being modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay again next time in Osaka ❤️"

"I chose to stay here for an early morning flight the next day. I actually booked this place two years ago but didn't end up coming, and didn't get a refund... But I wanted to enjoy the hot springs ♨️ and do some outlet shopping, so I booked it again. Location: It's a bit awkward. It's directly opposite the outlet mall, so after shopping, you have to walk quite a distance, especially on a scorching afternoon. You also have to go under an unmanned overpass. It was a bit confusing to find the first time. Hot Springs ♨️: The natural hot springs are quite nice, with one large pool and one small outdoor pool. However, there was an earthquake while I was there, and the sea instantly became turbulent with strong winds ⚡ and thunder and lightning – it felt like the end of the world. There's a bar and a lounge area at the hot spring entrance, but the selection of items sold there is limited and mediocre. Restaurant at the hot spring entrance: It was expensive and the food was terrible. It was the first time I've ever been served yakiniku with sushi soy sauce for dipping – it was incredibly bad, and the quality of the dishes was very average. Actually, there are many other places to eat nearby, so if it's not pouring rain, it's best to eat out. However, the scenery there is indeed beautiful. Room: Pretty standard, not very spacious. But the bench by the window was very dirty, indicating inadequate cleaning and replacement. Front Desk: This dinosaur-themed self-check-in is truly bizarre. Self-check-in is convenient, but those two dinosaurs look a bit scary and eerie, and the lobby is dark and empty. My child and I were both startled. Overall: It's still recommendable, but you need to plan well."

An absolutely wonderful stay! The location is fantastic, right next to Exit 1A of Yotsubashi Station, and just a few minutes' walk straight to Shinsaibashi Station. It's incredibly convenient for transport yet surprisingly quiet. There's a Torikizoku right opposite, so dining options are great. While the room wasn't huge, there was more than enough space to open two suitcases. All the facilities were excellent, and the shower drainage was incredible – no matter how strong the water pressure, not a single drop overflowed! The breakfast was exquisite, with a great variety, and they refilled dishes very promptly. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful; when I had a small issue, a front desk attendant arrived at my room within a minute, even though it was almost 1 AM. I'm very grateful for their help! Highly recommend!

This capsule hotel offers excellent value for money. It's perfect for solo travelers who spend their days exploring and only return to sleep at night. The personal amenities provided are clean and hygienic, and the hotel facilities are fully functional. I would definitely choose this type of hotel again for future solo trips.

The location is fantastic, right outside the JR station and a 5-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan's entrance. There's a convenience store and shops downstairs – a perfect choice. We even went back to the hotel to rest when it got too hot at Universal Studios, then re-entered in the evening to continue the fun. After a long day of walking, a relaxing bath and soak at the top floor spa in the evening was exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was perfect, except for the crowds – too many people at breakfast and in the showers.

What we found especially charming was that all the amenities were displayed in the lobby and were free for guests to take. They had everything you could possibly need—even face masks, which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere felt more like a modern student accommodation than a traditional hotel, which we really enjoyed. The staff were friendly, the rooftop bar was fantastic, and bike rentals were available. They also had a cafeteria-style common area with a coffee machine, microwaves, and water dispensers, making it the perfect place to enjoy food from the convenience store. Overall, it was a 10/10 stay, and we'd happily stay here again.

I stayed for a night in this hostel recently when I needed to catch an early ride to the airport from the train station. The location is superbly central and also easy to find thanks to the giant strawberry above the entrance. The dorm environment was quiet during my stay here and everything was very clean. The aircon was cold but the warm comforter ensured a great night’s sleep. Both shampoo and bath gel are available in the shower room and after staying in about ten different hotels and hostels during my trip, I must say that the scent of the gel here is my favourite! The dormitories is located on the third floor with no elevators so it may be daunting for the physically dis-inclined, especially after a typical long day of walking everywhere in Japan. All in all, I’d give this hostel 5 stars for it’s high ‘CP value’.

This is my second time going to this hotel as my first experience was so good. I went solo this time round and I was impressed by it again. Superb location as it is walkable distance to Dotonbori and Kuromon Market and Namba area and Nipponbanshi station. Staff are super friendly. The bread and drinks for breakfast was so good and convenient. Will always recommend this to anyone who is going to Osaka on a trip :) And I am planning to come back to this hotel again while booking my next trip to Osaka now for June.

Location: If you're coming from Kansai Airport, taking the Nankai Rapid Express to Namba and then dragging your luggage to the hotel is a bit of a trek, about 1km I'd say? I heard taking the bus is better. But the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Just 100 meters outside, you're in the busiest area of Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Every day after exploring, you can just step downstairs and enjoy all sorts of delicious food. Room: The room isn't huge, but I could half-open my 28-inch suitcase. Although it's a bit older, it's very clean! The only issue is that the curtains don't block out the light completely, so I was woken up by the sunlight in the morning. I should have worn an eye mask. Breakfast: It's alright, enough to fill you up. If you're rushing out to explore every day, it's worth booking. The restaurant isn't very big and can get crowded sometimes. A big plus is that children under 12 eat for free! Service: My room was right opposite the linen room, but I stayed for 3 nights and didn't hear a single sound from the staff, which was impressive! I couldn't use WeChat Pay for the washing machine, so I called the front desk to complain. To my surprise, a staff member proactively came to my room to help me operate it. When it still didn't work, they went back and forth to help me resolve the issue. Surroundings: Many reviews mentioned the red-light district at night. I also brought my 12-year-old daughter, and we came back very late every night, but we found it to be fine. This area is very lively; there are still many people out and about at midnight. You can find places like a century-old oden stand and the popular white chicken broth ramen, as well as convenience stores and Don Quijote. I'm very satisfied! Downside: There are too few washing machines.

Prime location. Eateries and shopping near hotel. Hotel room lighting is dimmed in comparison to other hotel. The lift and walkway is dimmed. There's no closet in the room however few hangers were provided. The sink is in the room and not in the bathroom.There's a washing machine which has a loud chime, which might disturb your sleep if it was used at night. Check in was fast however I was not informed on the welcome drinks and free amenities during checked in. So it was missed out. There was a picture frame hung on top of one of the bed which i felt that it was inappropriate, and posed as a safety hazard to the one sleeping underneath the picture frame. Another consideration for friends sharing twin room as there was no privacy due to shower area has no hook or shelf to place clothing. So basically have to change out in the room or in the toilet. Room size is good for big luggages for a twin sharing room. Overall, still a good option as the location is fantastic! Clean and quiet rooms too.

Simply the best onsen I’ve ever been. There is a huge sauna theatre and many smaller ones with some differences. Many individual tubs for those who wants to enjoy by themselves. It’s amazing and I would definitely come again. Location is not the most popular ones but it’s just two stations away so it’s not a problem. Breakfast is ok.

Coming from Kansai Airport, you do have to transfer a few times on the subway. However, the hotel is very close to Juso Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Juso Station has a food street, so dining is super convenient! It's not crowded around at night, so sleeping is very, very quiet! There's a convenience store at the intersection, and Don Quijote is just across the main road! There's also Daikoku Drugstore nearby! Although breakfast is simple, it changes a bit every day, which shows a lot of thought. You'll definitely be full and satisfied! The lobby also has vending machines with beer, drinks, and ice cream! All your normal needs can be met here! Personally, I think even though the location is a little out of the way, it makes up for it in value for money, and transferring subways is still very convenient~
