GGuest UserThis was my third visit to the Huaqing Palace, and it was only by staying at this hotel that I truly understood what Huaqing Palace is all about and why it's so special. To truly appreciate it, you have to experience Huaqing Palace under Mount Li after the crowds have dispersed at dusk and before they arrive in the morning. While there are other decent hotels nearby, this is the only one located within the Huaqing Palace grounds. Almost every room comes with a private hot spring, and I particularly recommend the rooms with an outdoor private hot spring – the experience is simply wonderful. The hotel staff are all very friendly, and the restaurant is quite impressive; I had all my meals at the hotel during my stay. Although the restaurant is a short walk from the hotel, there's a shuttle service, and it's not a long walk anyway. On a nice day, you can even enjoy the scenery along the way and digest your meal. All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, with no disappointments whatsoever. If I come back again, it will definitely be my top choice.

SSfontWe were a bit unsure at the beginning because the price was quite good, and the hotel seemed quite new, so we didn’t really know what to expect or if it would look the same as in the pictures. Sometimes places upload edited or outdated photos. But in this case, everything was exactly as shown, even better in person. The whole place felt really cute and cozy, and the lobby smelled incredibly good, which made a great first impression. The lobby itself was beautiful, very clean, and had a minimal, modern style that we really liked. The room was also great. Everything was super clean and well taken care of, and we especially loved the small tea area, which was a really nice touch. It made the room feel more special and cozy. The service was very good. The staff didn’t speak fluent English, but using translation tools we were able to communicate easily, and they were always trying to help us as much as possible, which we really appreciated. The amenities were nice overall. The gym is not very big and mostly has cardio equipment, so don’t expect heavy weights, but it’s enough for a quick cardio workout. They also have a laundry room that you can use yourself, and they provide everything you need, which is very convenient. The location is very convenient. It’s right next to the city wall, so you can walk there easily. It took around 40–50 minutes by taxi from the airport, and about 40 minutes to get to the Terracotta Warriors, so everything is quite well connected. As a final detail, when we checked out, they gave us a small gift bag with snacks and some skincare products, which was a really thoughtful touch. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful. I accidentally left my bag when checking out, and they took excellent care of it, showing great professionalism. The hotel is clean and bright, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. The location is perfect; you can walk to the City Wall, Bell Tower, and Drum Tower. The hotel's underground parking is really innovative – cars are transported by a special elevator down to the third basement level, which was a unique and novel experience I'd never encountered before. Finally, a big thanks to the lovely front desk staff for upgrading our family room for free!

GGuest UserAs someone who pays close attention to detail, my experience at MEILIE Hotel can only be described as 'impeccable' ❤. It's located right in the heart of the North Street commercial area, with direct subway access and surrounded by attractions, yet it offers a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. The 24-hour butler service, extended breakfast hours, complimentary mini-bar, and a thoughtful farewell gift upon check-out all show an incredible amount of care and attention.

GGuest UserI came here for a conference and then decided to extend my stay for the weekend to explore Xi'an like a special forces soldier. After comparing several options, I chose Zhiyincheng Hotel. **Location:** It's a short walk from Gate 3 of Joy City. If you're taking a taxi, set your destination to the Westin Hotel. It's quite close to the subway, specifically Exit B of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda station. It's incredibly convenient for getting around. Plus, it's very close to famous attractions like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda light show, Datang Everbright City, and Da Ci'en Temple. The hotel's interior design is unique and perfect for taking photos. **Service:** The service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. I took Metro Line 4 from Xi'an North Station, and when I was about to arrive, I messaged the concierge. They met me at the subway station and helped me with my luggage. As soon as I entered the hotel, they immediately offered me a refreshing glass of sour plum juice, which was delicious. I went out to explore after dropping off my luggage, and when I returned in the evening, I actually forgot my room number! I asked the front desk attendant for help, and instead of getting annoyed, she immediately looked up my room number and even had my late-night snack delivered to my room. The next morning, I realized my period had started early and asked the front desk for help. They promptly sent up sanitary products; it was incredibly thoughtful. **Cleanliness:** Very clean and hygienic. **Facilities:** Smart toilet, large TV, smart curtains, smart vanity mirror… the room's amenities are quite modern. I particularly liked the placement of the toilet paper holder in the bathroom. It's perfectly aligned with normal usage habits, unlike some hotels where it's placed behind the toilet, requiring you to strain your back to reach it. The mirror is a dream for anyone who wears makeup. The only minor drawback was the shower. The showerhead holder is fixed to the wall and is quite high. For someone short like me, it's not very user-friendly. When showering, after rinsing off, if I wanted to hang the showerhead back up and then get some body wash, I had to stand on tiptoes to reach it, which can be quite dangerous in a wet shower. Also, the holder wasn't very easy to insert the showerhead into, so that was a bit inconvenient. **Breakfast:** The selection was neither too much nor too little, but it felt just right. Both mornings, the staff at the cooking station were wonderful and very enthusiastic, making guests feel energized right from the start. During my meal, I saw a foreign guest who seemed to want a sunny-side-up egg. Although the server might not have fully understood what the guest wanted in English, they made a great effort to communicate through gestures and eventually understood the guest's request. I thought this was excellent and truly demonstrated our country's hospitality. **Chinese or Western Afternoon Tea (choose one):** The sugar cookies were delicious. I forgot what kind of coffee beans I ordered, but they were incredibly smooth. I ordered an Americano, and it had a sweet aftertaste, which was very pleasant. **Travel Photography:** The hotel provides complimentary travel photography services. The makeup artist, photographer, and their assistant were all excellent and very professional. They communicated patiently with me, and the entire photoshoot was very enjoyable. I was extremely satisfied with the final photos. **Value for Money:** Some people might feel that Zhiyincheng Hotel is slightly more expensive than nearby hotels. However, I believe its service, location, and amenities make it well worth the price. The next time I visit Xi'an, I would still choose Zhiyincheng Hotel.

CConcetta SThis hotel is a luxury! The room is perfect, comfortable and spotlessly clean! The location just 8 minutes from the metro line 2 wich connects very well the centre and Xi'an North railway station. The reception staff is excellent and very friendly but, like in most places in China, don't speak English. While using the translator is ok, there's a barrier if you want to ask more questions and it takes a lot of time to communicate. Upon checkout early in the morning, the receptionist on duty gave me some lovely gifts but I was heading to my taxi and she asked me to leave a review with her name right at that moment. I felt this was a bit pushy, but she was the only one to do that. The others were very respectful and helpful. As I was delayed and my taxi was waiting, I completely forgot to leave a tip which was my intention. Sorry!

GGuest UserThe Moxy's public areas have a fantastic industrial vibe, incorporating local elements like Qinqiang opera and the Bell Tower. The neon lights, pool table, and open bar really foster a social atmosphere. For breakfast, there was an ample selection of fresh fruit and vegetable salads, which, along with the simple afternoon tea and cocktails, perfectly balanced out all the carbs and BBQ I'd been having in Xi'an. I felt like I was eating very healthily. Room attendant Xiao Ge did an excellent job cleaning and even left a thoughtful handwritten note, which made my entire trip to Xi'an feel incredibly pleasant. The front desk staff, Xiao Liu and Xiao Lin, were efficient and enthusiastic, making for a great experience. The only minor drawbacks were the limited number of washing machines, and it was a bit inconvenient to arrange luggage when I had a lot. Also, there were no Hanfu available to try on in the hotel.

GGuest UserThis is a very mixed review. On one hand, the location was good, right next to the wall and with a 10-minute walk to the metro, and maybe a 20-minute walk to the Drum and Bell Towers. There is also a fantastic park right on the other side of the wall from the hotel. The room was huge and had great facilities. However, the service was pretty bad. The room was kind of cleaned some days, but never properly done, there was no fridge or tea and coffee in the room (even though it is beneath a cafe), and the guy working the desk was either never around or totally disinterested - I think definitely a different person from the ones in other reviews. So parts of it we loved and would recommend, and parts of it were just, well, weird!

JJiuyuemeiIt's about a 10-minute walk to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter, and the subway station is close by, making it easy to explore and grab food without going out of your way. There's also a convenience store nearby. The room is cozy and clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning and hot water work great. It really has a local feel! The owner sent check-in instructions in advance and warmly introduced local attractions upon arrival. They even helped me call a taxi when I checked out, just like a friendly acquaintance. Absolutely great value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive experience of the old city's vibrant atmosphere.

Eelement1672The room was much more spacious than it appeared in the photos. The memory foam mattress provided ideal comfort, being neither too soft nor too firm – I never wanted to leave the bed! As a light sleeper, I was truly impressed that I slept soundly until morning; the soundproofing is genuinely superb! The bathroom featured excellent wet/dry separation, and hot water was instant. Premium brand toiletries were provided (not generic ones); truly, the attention to detail was impeccable. The most pleasant surprise was the front desk staff, who proactively upgraded me to a room with a stunning city night view and even included a complimentary welcome fruit platter. When checking out, as I was in a rush, the front desk kindly arranged for my luggage to be stored. Later in the afternoon, when I collected it, they even reminded me to take an umbrella, as it was raining outside – their service was genuinely heartwarming.
