Hotels with Bars in Xi'an

The Huaqing Imperial Hot Spring Resort is huge. As soon as we arrived, the bellhops welcomed and escorted us (a special shout-out to the bellhops, their service was incredibly thoughtful and warm!). They transported guests from the main gate to the check-in lobby, and no matter where you wanted to go, an electric cart would take you directly. In the evenings, you can enjoy a private hot spring bath in your room. For the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' show, a VIP staff member with a lantern personally escorts you there. When you return to your room at night, there's even white fungus soup waiting. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The location is convenient for getting around, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the water pressure is strong. The breakfast spread is diverse, and the facilities are comprehensive. I highly recommend it for business travelers. It will definitely be my top choice next time I'm in Xi'an!

Disappointing Stay Despite a Promising Hotel We stayed at the Sheraton Xi’an North City during our visit to Xi’an and, unfortunately, the experience fell well short of what we would expect from a 5-star Sheraton. The hotel itself is impressive, with a good location and some very nice facilities. Our suite looked good and, on first impressions, appeared comfortable and well appointed. The hotel is also conveniently located for getting around Xi’an, with the metro nearby and easy access by taxi/DiDi. Unfortunately, the problems started with the room. The air conditioning was not cooling the room properly, and despite having two air coolers brought in, the room remained around 27°C, which made sleeping uncomfortable. There were also issues with the minibar. It was not properly stocked and, after contacting reception, we waited around 40 minutes without the matter being resolved. We were told that a manager would call us back, but that never happened. Eventually, we were advised to order drinks through room service instead. The food we ordered was good, but the delivery took around an hour on both occasions. Housekeeping was another disappointment. Despite leaving towels out to be changed, our room was not serviced before checkout. On closer inspection, there were also cleanliness issues, including a dirty mirror and tabletops and dust around the safe. For a hotel of this standard, this was not what we expected. The positives were the suite itself, the overall appearance of the hotel and its facilities, and the convenient location. The hotel has a Club Lounge, indoor pool, fitness centre and several dining options. However, the combination of the air-conditioning problem, poor follow-up from reception, minibar issues and housekeeping standards significantly affected our stay. Overall, the hotel has plenty of potential, but the level of service and room maintenance we experienced did not match the 5-star Sheraton standard we expected.

Beautiful boutique hotel hidden on the last 3 floors on a high building at the center of the walled city. Very convenient and very quiet. Nice rooftop with swimming pool, bar, view point on the bell tower. Room was elegantly design and spacious. The service is amazing, very efficient yet patiente and talored to your needs. The staffed recommended us great restaurants and show. Joy served us a very nice cocktail at the bar. Food was delicious and lots of complementary snacks and drinks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that come to Xi'an. Wonderful!

The hotel has a predominantly American style with a youthful and trendy vibe. Everything from the color scheme to the overall decor is excellent. Let me highlight a few things I particularly liked. First, the front desk service was fantastic. I arrived late at night, and the staff was still incredibly welcoming, giving me a thorough overview of the hotel's facilities. A huge bonus was the room upgrade and the complimentary welcome snacks and drinks. I had a lot of luggage, and the front desk even pressed the elevator button for me, which I really appreciated. Secondly, the hotel has many rooms and is divided into different sections, but the front desk staff thoughtfully directed me to the elevator closest to my room. I stepped out and it was right there, which I found very considerate. Thirdly, the upgraded room was spacious and well-equipped with all the basic amenities. A special mention goes to the hairdryer, which was powerful, and the excellent water pressure. Also, the disinfecting wipes next to the toilet were a great little detail – very hygienic! My last point is about breakfast. I was in a hurry, so I didn't take photos, but the breakfast selection was mainly Western with four Chinese stir-fried dishes. However, what really caught my eye was the freshly made noodle soup. Overall, my experience at this hotel was incredibly value for money, and I'd definitely come back!

My stay at this hotel was an unforgettable experience of warmth and professionalism. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive, not only greeting every guest with a smile but also ensuring everyone felt right at home with their thoughtful and meticulous service. Whether it was handling check-ins or simply coming and going, they were always patient and enthusiastic, as if fulfilling each guest's needs was their top priority. The hotel's facilities and environment were also a major highlight. From the exquisite decor in the lobby to the comfortable layout of the guest rooms, every detail showcased the hotel's commitment to quality. In the rooms, the spaciousness, soft bedding, high-definition TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi all elevated the guest experience to a new level. This hotel not only earned praise for its service attitude but also excelled in its facilities, providing every guest with a comfortable, convenient, and pleasant lodging environment. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, it is an ideal choice for accommodation.

I stayed for two nights, and overall the hotel was quite good. My only dissatisfaction was with the noodle chef at the breakfast restaurant on September 13th. First, he completely ignored guests when a polite response was expected. When I ordered noodles, he didn't say a word – no ”okay,” no ”just a moment,” it was as if he didn't hear me. (I later saw a review from last December complaining about his dismissive attitude, so it seems nothing has changed). Then, he habitually argued against reasonable guest requests, which was off-putting. When I went to pick up my noodles, I asked him for the bowl with more vegetables and less noodles. He immediately, impatiently, said, ”They're all the same.” But it was visibly clear that the proportion of noodles to vegetables varied in each bowl. As a guest, I had to explain to him that I wanted the bowl with more vegetables (just wanted a taste, didn't need so many noodles). He immediately retorted, ”If you need more vegetables, you can tell me, and I'll cook them for you.” I could only helplessly tell him that the bowl I had chosen was already suitable and sufficient. Is it really that difficult to simply provide the service a guest needs within a reasonable request? Is this the proper attitude for responding to guests? This is truly the first time I've experienced such ”service” in a five-star hotel. In contrast, other staff members in the breakfast restaurant were excellent. On September 13th, the young man with glasses at the Roujiamo and Douhua Paomo station, and on September 14th, the young woman cooking noodles, were both wonderful. They provided patient and attentive service throughout, treating guests with sincerity and politeness. Given the uncle's attitude, which created a very unpleasant experience for guests, it falls short of the Marriott Renaissance's expected standards. I hope the relevant departments will take responsibility and manage this.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable, right down to the odor-free bathroom with plenty of stable hot water. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, always happy to help with a kind attitude. The surrounding area has convenient options for dining and transportation. I slept really well, and I highly recommend this place!

The hotel ia strategic, near and easy access to all the scenic area. Food is not a problem since the shopping street is surrounding the hotel area. We have a great time staying there. The host has been very helpful and friendly during our entire stay. Laundry services is also available at the hotel and it’s convenient for us. If you are tired from walking at the scenic area, the lower ground shop-lot have lot off massage parlours where you can relax after the hectic day. The owners’ cats are so cute and super friendly and being and additional friends for us 😍

Arriving weary and tired to be welcomed by lively, friendly locals having drinks by the roof terrace pool. This is not the welcome I expected to Xi’an at all! But it was very fun. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure I understood what was going on, and striving to make adjustments to my booking details where necessary. The distance from the centre means much less traffic when travelling to and from the station or other sites - making the location very convenient. The food and drinks by the roof terrace have a very wide selection, which is all delicious and comes with great service. I would definitely stay again.
