This little hotel is excellent and at an affordable price , so unbelievable! The location is excellent, about 5 min walk to Bell Tower and another 5 min walk to the Muslim Street for yummy dinner. The subway is also 5 min away, on the same line that goes to Xi’an North train station, so convenient. I asked for a quiet twin-bedded room, and they gave us (2 friends) a spacious and quiet Family Room with 2 huge beds! Not sure why. The electric kettle is actually a high-tech boiler for water from the mineral water bottle. You can set the temperature you want, it’s so cute and convenient. The hair dryer is like Dyson, very nice. I wish the shower cubicle had more hooks though. I also wish the toilet and shower doors were more tinted for privacy. The breakfast is quite nice, the main attraction is the coffee maker! They are generous with fruits - grapes and whole pears. Also yogurt. In the hotel lobby, there is a lady (a “middleman”) who sells tours to various attractions. We bought a day trip to Huashan by bus, and the bus meeting point was just across the road. The price of this tour was really good, it included the shuttle buses and cable way we wanted. But the middleman and bus tour guide only speak Chinese. After some hassle, we managed to communicate via WeChat. This is an amazing App. It will instantly translate from Chinese to English and vice versa! On the day we went to Huashan (have to leave the hotel very early) we asked the hotel to pack our breakfast. They were very kind and packed us 2 breakfast boxes. The hotel reception staff speak a little English, and with Google translate, we had no problems. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to make use of the one free Hanfu outfit which came with our room booking. I highly recommend this hotel!

The location is excellent: within walking distance of the metro station and the ancient wall, the Bell Tower can be reached on foot too if you don’t mind a little stretch. The owner is super responsive via text. Price is honestly too cheap for this location. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Multiple convenience stores just off the elevator on ground level. The only downside is that the apartment is a little hard to find. We called the owner and he came down to take us to the room. I would recommend arriving during daytime hours for this reason. Owner is super helpful. Will definitely stay again next time I visit Xi’an.
