Hotel near Zhonggulou Square (Downtown),Xi'an
The hotel is located in the heart of Xi'an's Central Business District, near the site of the Tang Dynasty Secretariat and adjacent to Qiaozikou Station on Metro Line 6. Public transportation is convenient: Metro Line 2 takes about 30 minutes directly to Xi'an North Railway Station and 50 minutes to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport. Shuttle services are also available upon reservation (charged by vehicle type, advance booking required). The lobby features a museum exhibition area, immersing guests in Han and Tang dynasty culture and historical ambiance from the moment they enter. Surrounded by numerous attractions and markets, the hotel offers easy access to key destinations: Zhonggulou Square is an 8-minute walk away or accessible via Metro Line 6 transferring to Line 2 at Zhonglou Station; Huimin Street (Beiyuanmen / Xiyangshi) is just a 3-minute walk away, offering vibrant local life; Xiaonanmen Morning Market (Hanguangmen) is about 10 minutes on foot, where you can experience traditional morning life in old Xi'an; Shuncheng Alley, Shuyuanmen, and Xiangzi Temple form a cultural trail within a 15-minute walk, or reachable by walking from Yongningmen Station on Metro Line 2. Dayanta and Daming Lake Night City can be reached by transferring from Metro Line 2 to Line 3 at Dayanta Station—just 20 minutes away, where you can enjoy dazzling light shows and musical fountains before strolling to the night city. Emphasizing museum-inspired design, Song-style aesthetics, Han palace elements, and Tang culture, the hotel specializes in spacious two-bedroom suites with one living room and two bathrooms. Each suite features open, airy layouts with dry-wet separation, blending ancient charm with modern comfort. On-site amenities include a meditation and scripture-copying room, tea lounge, and fitness center. Complimentary buffet breakfast and coffee afternoon tea are provided, catering to diverse needs such as family trips and cultural stays, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the thousand-year heritage of Chang'an.

"Traveling to Xi'an with three generations of my family, a total of six people, we stumbled upon this guesthouse nestled on the ruins of the Tang Dynasty Imperial Secretariat, and it was such a delightful surprise! We were completely immersed in the culture of the glorious Tang Dynasty Chang'an throughout our stay. It was comfortable and rich in heritage – definitely a full 10/10! They offer a wide variety of room types, including ancient-style themes like Qin-Han, Tang, Song, and traditional folk, each with its own unique flair. Some rooms even feature private hot springs, making for an incredibly atmospheric bathing experience. We booked a two-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom layout, perfectly suited for large families. With two 2.1-meter king beds plus a children's bunk bed (1.35m top bunk, 1.5m bottom bunk), our family of six had plenty of space to spread out, and there would have been ample room for an additional two or three relatives. The hardware configuration completely matches that of a high-end hotel. The entire house is fitted with Kohler bathroom fixtures, with a three-zone wet and dry separation and smart toilets – clean and luxurious. The bedding features 80-thread count high-density fabric, and the down comforters and pillows are so soft; after a day of traveling, lying down instantly melts away fatigue. With a whole-house fresh air system and central air conditioning, the temperature is constant and never stuffy year-round. The owner also provides unlimited mineral water, Xi'an Bingfeng soda, and various afternoon tea snacks throughout the day, allowing us to taste local specialties at any time, which was a very thoughtful touch. The decor is the biggest highlight. The entire building is built upon the cultural and historical heritage of the Tang Dynasty Imperial Secretariat, featuring a wealth of old timber and vintage wood carvings. The walls all have unique textures hand-polished by art academy teachers and students; every room, bathroom, and living room boasts different patterns, showing how much thought and effort went into it. Every step reveals a glimpse of Chang'an's millennia-old cultural lineage, and it's incredibly photogenic. The配套 services (amenities and services) were truly generous. There's a hearty complimentary breakfast every day, and they can even arrange complimentary lunch or dinner if needed. The location is absolutely superb, right within the city walls in the core area between the Bell and Drum Towers, very close to Xiaonanmen and the Muslim Quarter. It's just a few steps to hail a taxi, and the subway is a fifty-meter walk away. The owner also provides free parking, making shopping, transfers, and getting around incredibly convenient and worry-free. Next time I visit Xi'an, I will definitely stay here again. I'd love to try the Tang Dynasty-themed room with a private hot spring. I genuinely recommend it to families traveling together!"

BBinweijunThis was my first time staying at a Marriott W hotel. I'd always been a bit hesitant about the 'trendy luxury, nightclub vibe, industrial style' concept, until I stayed at the W Xi'an, the Asian flagship. My family and I fell in love with it on the very first night. My daughter adored the 'golden peach' throw pillow in the room, even if she did call it 'onion' 😅, and couldn't put it down. She also noticed that the expressions on the people in the paintings on the room's walls 'moved' as she walked by. And then she spotted a book in the room, *The Golden Peaches of Samarkand*. She immediately recognized the book's front and back covers as images from the 'Emissaries' and 'Polo Match' murals from the Tomb of Prince Zhanghuai, currently on exhibit at the Shaanxi History Museum's Tang Dynasty Mural Exhibition. The 'Emissaries' mural particularly struck her; at the museum, my family and I had been debating where the three foreign envoys in the painting were from. My wife loved W Xi'an for its attention to service details. We've stayed at most five-star hotel brands, and this is the only one so far that has provided two extra single duvets for a king-size bed, and plastic slippers for two adults plus one child to use for showering. As a hotel enthusiast myself, I loved the W Xi'an's lake-view balcony, which offered views of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the 'Cold Cave' where Wang Baochuan waited for 18 years, and Qujiang Pool, where Tang Dynasty emperors and poets would drink and compose poetry. I was fortunate enough to be chosen as a lucky guest for the weekend 'Into the Night' ritual. It was full of ceremony, and I even got to mix a cocktail with the bartender 🍸, haha! 😃 'Everything I saw was beautiful.' The power of culture is infinite. Thank you, W Xi'an, and thank you for this civilized era. We spent over a week in Xi'an, and my family and I were constantly searching for authentic local cuisine. Then we checked into W Xi'an, and their breakfast included almost all of Xi'an's delicacies. What was most commendable was that the quality of this food was on par with what we'd tasted at various 'intangible cultural heritage' and 'time-honored brand' eateries across Xi'an. I also want to thank Hotel Butler Manager Yang Yurong for her enthusiastic service. Apprehension – Acceptance – Enjoyment. My biggest takeaway from W Xi'an is that I found myself enjoying 'trendy luxury.' Does this mean I'm not old yet? Haha! 😄

GGuest UserThis hotel is said to be the only one of its kind in Xi'an, and one of only two in Asia. I decided to give it a try for one night, and overall, I had a good experience. First, the environment: it's located in the former People's Mansion, within its own large courtyard, providing a quiet retreat from the bustling city. There's even a fountain downstairs. The hotel's designer is Chinese, but it boasts a French style. It was originally built during the Soviet aid era to host Soviet experts, so it likely incorporates elements from Chinese, French, and Russian cultures. About 90% of the guests are foreigners, possibly French, though I couldn't really tell. The room decor is quite elegant, not modern. The facilities and amenities are good, but some furniture and the floor show obvious signs of wear. The staff are all young and provide excellent, smiling service. Breakfast was just so-so; it seems more geared towards foreigners. For Chinese guests, the variety is quite limited, and it pales in comparison to the breakfasts at InterContinental, Four Seasons, and especially the Ritz-Carlton. But then again, each hotel has its own unique characteristics. All in all, it's a hotel worth staying at!

GGuest UserMy stay this time was excellent. The hotel butler was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive, treating guests with exceptional politeness, and answering questions promptly and efficiently. The hotel grounds and courtyard boast beautiful scenery, nestled by the mountains with a comfortable environment and fresh air – truly an ideal choice for a short getaway. The amenities are solid, with a shuttle bus service and direct subway access. All the staff members were enthusiastic and friendly. The hotel also features hot springs, a swimming pool, and various parent-child facilities, catering to different travel needs. My only minor suggestion would be for the Chinese restaurant's dishes to be improved. I recommend optimizing the specialty dishes and Cantonese flavors to further enhance the food quality. Showcasing the highlights of Cantonese cuisine would make it even more perfect. Overall, the comprehensive experience was great, and I will definitely choose this hotel again for future trips. I genuinely think it's fantastic and will bring my children next time! 🥰

DD F KhavandBeautiful large hotel. Only problem - airconditioning not functioning. Metro a short walk. Bus stop outside. Good location. Quiet area. Seafood downstairs, did not eat there. Chinese next door, we did eat at was excellent ( esp the aubergine). Fruit and snacks from vendors outside. Pool is an adequate size for a short dip in the evening to help relax.

GGuest User💒 What an amazing stay at the Grand Hyatt for 520/521! The hotel was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded our room, and Judy's service truly stood out – she deserves a special shoutout! 👍 The suite we stayed in was super spacious and had a fantastic ambiance. The staff even took the time to beautifully decorate the room, paying attention to every detail, which made it feel extra special and ceremonial ✨. The package we booked included breakfast and afternoon tea, both of which had a wide variety of delicious options. The evening light meals also offered plenty of choices, and we could order all sorts of cocktails. There was even a fun cocktail challenge, but unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well that day and couldn't participate. My friends and I have already planned to come back specifically to try it next time! I also managed to squeeze in some time at the pool. There were hardly any people there, and the environment was really comfortable. A quick swim was incredibly relaxing. Overall, the facilities, all the food options, and the service were impeccable. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

GGuest UserOur stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an was excellent. A special thank you to Cassie from the Executive Lounge; she helped us upgrade our room to an interconnected one so we could take nice photos and wake up to the sun. We were also delighted to receive a small lion plushie and custom room keys – her service was incredibly professional and thoughtful. A big thank you also goes to Jessica Jiang Xiaomin, whose room service was prompt. She also helped us take photos and enthusiastically introduced us to Xi'an's unique attractions. I'd also like to commend Li Hua, our housekeeper, for being so attentive and meticulous. Thank you. Furthermore, thanks to all the staff at the Executive Lounge for their warm and professional service.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, making shopping very convenient as it has direct access to Manxiang Mall. There are also many dining options nearby, which is a huge plus. It's lovely to take a stroll in Wenjing Park both in the morning and evening. The room itself was spacious, bright, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were all very warm and friendly.

GGuest UserThe room wasn't as bad as it looked in the pictures, but it also wasn't as bright due to the windows. I went on a Sunday, and there was a conference, two weddings, and a child's birthday party? The public areas were better maintained than the room facilities. The F&B department seemed a bit disorganized, but everything else was okay. The front desk staff was very welcoming, and the concierge called ahead to communicate.
