Benrat Hotel

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic and super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Taikoo Li. However, the service details could use some improvement; after check-in, there's basically no other service. But for this location and price, what more could you ask for?

The hygiene was terrible. There were large, blood-like stains on the bathroom floor that couldn't be cleaned. When I contacted the front desk, housekeeping came and said it was a normal discoloration of the tiles that couldn't be wiped off. The sink had severe limescale buildup. The service was mediocre, but the hygiene issues significantly detracted from the overall stay.

This was my first time staying at a hotel where staff knocked on my door while I was asleep, and they did it several times. I woke up to find out they had the wrong room. So annoying! How can staff not know which rooms are occupied before knocking? Also, the hotel prices fluctuate daily – sometimes expensive, sometimes cheap. I didn't bother changing hotels because I had too much luggage and didn't want the hassle, so I stayed for two nights, then extended for another two. On my last morning, I had to catch a ride and was too rushed to go out for breakfast. I casually asked if they could offer one complimentary breakfast since I had stayed for a total of four nights. The staff member looked at me with disdain and said no. Overall, the hotel's service felt very unprofessional!

This hotel is located within the Mengzhuiwan/Wangpingfang tourist area in Chengdu, right next to Xiangxiang Alley. The panda-themed decor creates a very pleasant atmosphere. It's definitely a place worth staying at again.

Overall, a good experience. The service was excellent, and the environment was very comfortable. There are a few small details that could be improved, but generally speaking, it's still recommendable, and you can even explore the area right downstairs.

The location is fantastic! It's right next to Wangping Street, which is a lively area with lots of local flavor. Step outside, and you're on the bar street with plenty of shops to browse and endless dining options. It's also super close to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li – just a ten-minute walk to Taikoo Li. I highly recommend this hotel; it's clean, tidy, and well-equipped with a gym and laundry room.

A lifesaver for family trips! The hygiene is top-notch, and the bedding is so soft and comfortable. There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. After visiting the Panda Base and Du Fu's Thatched Cottage, it's just a short walk back. It really doubled our travel happiness.

Facilities: Very high-tech. Hygiene: Pretty good. Service: Decent. Location: Good, I've stayed here a few times. Lots of great dining options nearby.
