An excellent experience! The hotel staff were very polite and considerate. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Plus, it's less than a 10-minute walk to Du Fu's Thatched Cottage, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend this hotel!

A suite for just a few hundred bucks? That was a pleasant surprise! The service was truly excellent, especially the gentleman from the bell desk department – very professional and courteous. It completely exceeded my expectations, on par with or even better than the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai, haha. I'm writing this review because of him; I never usually review hotels. Highly recommended! It's also just a one-minute walk from the antique market. Perfect!

Clean, hygienic, spacious room, quiet, and a great environment!

The room was on the first floor, with a small courtyard and private hot spring bath. This hotel is part of Huazhu's scenic area chain and is located near Chengdu's Du Fu Thatched Cottage, a 15-minute walk away. The greenery along the road is tranquil, and during the day, there are many street vendors, creating a lively atmosphere. Facilities: Complete. Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: Beautiful. Service: Attentive.

We checked in at around 11 PM on the 2nd of the National Day holiday and stayed for two nights. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Du Fu's Thatched Cottage and the Sichuan Museum. The Thatched Cottage is adjacent to Huanhuaxi Park, both offering stunning views. At dinner time the next day, we unexpectedly discovered the popular Chen Mapo Tofu restaurant, also within walking distance. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there were already 114 tables waiting, so we gave up on trying. However, the hotel's breakfast was a welcome relief. The breakfast room isn't large, but it's elegant and clean. It offers delicious skewers and dandan noodles. The ingredients aren't extensive, but they're fresh. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the waitress on our first breakfast, our children raved about the beef noodles. The hotel's overall service was patient and attentive. We checked in late on our first day, and the hotel manager enthusiastically delivered our luggage to our room and even provided our children with a cup of thirst-quenching mung bean soup. The hotel staff also offered complimentary laundry and drying services, which were delivered to our rooms. The hotel manager was always welcoming whenever we encountered him during our stay. When I checked out, I unexpectedly received a gift from Huajianfu. It was a perfect closed-loop experience. Next time I visit Chengdu, I will choose to stay at Huajianfu next to Caotang.
