Yueyang ChenThis was the kids' favorite hotel during our 15-day trip to Japan. The mountain scenery is beautiful, it's very quiet, and the air is fresh. We had a lot of fun making a fire, cooking, and having a BBQ together. The house is well-maintained, clean, refreshing, and warm enough. The staff are all very friendly and always provide timely assistance. The hotel's paid shuttle service can take you to some nearby attractions, which is also very convenient.

SajiroWe had an amazing stay at Arimasansoh Goshobessho! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel & rooms itself are incredibly comfy and cozy, with a warm, intimate atmosphere and a delightful wood scent that adds to its charm.
The amenities were excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxing experience. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations (very good French toast, and onion soup) such a great way to start the day!
A special thank-you to the hotel staff for their kindness and efficiency in returning the Apple Watch we accidentally left behind—it was much appreciated!
Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

We had a great 1 night stay at this hotel!
This was a wonderful experience! Although we only spent 1 night here, as this was meant to be an overnight stop between cities in our travel road trip, this left such a good impression on us, that we would like to come back to Akashi just to stay in this hotel again.
The architecture and the hotel design is very cool, 50's kind of vibe, but it's new of course.
The hotel has a club lounge where we could unwind after the drive with complimentary snacks and drinks, including alcohol, and all was free and unlimited.
The room was super spacious and designed nicely, with a huge hot tube jacuzzi, and since we took the ocean view room, the view overlooking the ocean and bridge was just breath-taking 👌
The breakfast was just right, and they totally accommodated my meal requests and accomplished to have a very good result...
5 stars here and I would totally want to come back!

Patrick0707We had great time spending at the hotel, amazing service by the hotel team. The Hotel has free shuttle to pick up from the station, or when you need drop off to the Arima town area. We had a wonderful time with the gold and silver onsen at the hotel, all private onsen require booking at the hotel ( with App or directly at the frontdesk) they will be happily to help. We booked a room with private hot spring with fireplace, the room is amazing with whole complimentary mini bar, so convenient that we can always relax in room. We always go to lobby to grab some refreshment after our onsen session to “cool-down” get some juice , or coffee and ice cream. We feel so relaxing the whole time staying at the hotel. We will definitely go back again .

We stayed at Negiya Ryofukaku in Arima Onsen during the maple leaf season, opting for the West Wing's deluxe Japanese-Western mixed room with a mountain view. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making us feel truly comfortable. Looking out the window, the mountain was ablaze with vibrant red maple leaves, like a flowing oil painting—the scenery far exceeded our expectations. Upon check-out, the hotel even thoughtfully arranged a car to take us to Arima Station, which was incredibly convenient.

Guest UserLoved this nice little place. Excellent location right near the Nada station and bus 92.
My private room was larger than expected, great AC, opposite the showers and toilet. Most important the bed was very comfortable! There is a train passing by now and then. I didn’t bother and slept well. There are free earplugs available. If you can sleep in a train, you won’t have any problem to sleep here.
On the 1F a kitchen, relax and meetup area. Great to meet and talk with the other guests.
Staff was excellent, very welcoming, in English 🙃.

A heartwarming and thoughtful mountain hotel experience.
This hotel stay completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of genuine hospitality – there was a dedicated shuttle service directly from the station to the hotel, saving me the hassle of dragging my luggage around.
The next day, I planned to explore the hot spring town at the foot of the mountain. The hotel proactively offered to store my luggage and deliver it to the station at the bottom of the mountain at the agreed time, completely freeing up my hands. The food was surprisingly delicious, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful pairings. The room was clean and comfortable, meticulously cleaned daily, and the common areas were also spotless.
The service throughout was attentive yet unobtrusive. From the shuttle arrangements to the luggage storage, everything was efficient and heartwarming. It's truly perfect for travelers planning a hot spring trip. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

ZhilvdeshenquExcellent stay! I was in town for Ayumi Hamasaki's concert, and the venue was right across the street, just one block away. The hotel is also conveniently located near Citizen's Plaza Station, which is why I chose it. The hotel itself is grand and impressive, with a spacious and comfortable lobby. I arrived in the morning before check-in, so I relaxed in the lobby. There's even a convenience store inside the hotel, making it easy to grab anything you need. The room was very spacious, and the window offered a great view. While it's an older hotel, what truly matters is the comfort and overall feeling for guests, not just having the newest gadgets or facilities.

Great place, I was very pleased! I'd love to come back again.
Location: The bus to Arima stops at the bridge, from there it's a 10-15 minute uphill climb, three flights of stairs. It's inconvenient if you have large suitcases; it's best to leave them somewhere. The hotel has a very atmospheric atmosphere, and the view from the veranda is stunning.
Amenities: They give one pass to the onsen (golden onsen), it's 5 minutes away, and it's fantastic (don't forget to bring masks and lotions; I didn't see any in the onsen itself). I went there in my hotel yukata, although I haven't seen anyone like it anywhere else 😁
The hotel itself is clean, has all the necessary amenities, and the futon is super soft – I slept wonderfully.
The building and furniture are not new, but for a ryokan of this type, that's understandable.
Service: The hostess speaks Japanese and Chinese; her English isn't great, but it's perfectly adequate for basic needs.
I didn't bring any food, I stayed for one night in a room (8) on the ground floor - it was spacious, with a view from the window of a fence with ivy, but this didn't spoil the atmosphere, as the room was quite sunny.
