Hotels with balcony in Kobe

This was the kids' favorite hotel during our 15-day trip to Japan. The mountain scenery is beautiful, it's very quiet, and the air is fresh. We had a lot of fun making a fire, cooking, and having a BBQ together. The house is well-maintained, clean, refreshing, and warm enough. The staff are all very friendly and always provide timely assistance. The hotel's paid shuttle service can take you to some nearby attractions, which is also very convenient.

The hotel offers private hot springs, and guests can book a time slot after check-in. There are both indoor and outdoor options, with four types each, ensuring excellent privacy. This is a great alternative for those who might feel uncomfortable using public hot spring pools. Some rooms also have their own private hot springs, but these are all ”silver springs”; if you wish to experience a ”golden spring,” you need to make a reservation. The hot spring environment is clean and hygienic, and the facilities are comprehensive. The shower rooms are spotless. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel also provides a dedicated shuttle service; simply inform the front desk where you'd like to go, and you can also call them to pick you up and bring you back to the hotel after you're done exploring. Highly recommended!

The hotel is not located near bus station and transportation is required to the hotel. If you cannot contact the hotel for the transfer (like our case) head on to the tourist information centre and they will help you to contact them for the transportation. Check in is strictly after 2pm, but they will offer to take your luggages to the hotel first while you explore around the Arima Onsen vicinity. Contact them again via information centre when you are ready to check in to the hotel. We were greeted by a lady that dressed up in kimono and guided us to the check in counter. The room is spacious and clean. The view is spectacular and you can hear the birds chirping here and there. The environment is totally pleasant and peaceful. The onsen is very therapeutic and our body feel rejuvenated after soaking. As we opt for room-in Kaiseki dinner, we are able to enjoy full privacy while eating the sumptuous course of dinner that serves by a friendly lady attending to us. In all, it is a great experience.

Pros: - Special golden onsen that melts all fatigue away. For us we had a large private onsen so even better - pickup service available, although we prefered to walk. - free drink bar with coffee and fruit soda - large room with massage chair - friendly, helpful staffs - good food Cons: - a bit pricey - although we booked a western style room with beds, we actually wanted to sleep in futons but that was the only room left so we had no choice. When we asked the staff if we could sleep in futons she said it'd be 3300yen per person. So sad 🥲

We had a great 1 night stay at this hotel! This was a wonderful experience! Although we only spent 1 night here, as this was meant to be an overnight stop between cities in our travel road trip, this left such a good impression on us, that we would like to come back to Akashi just to stay in this hotel again. The architecture and the hotel design is very cool, 50's kind of vibe, but it's new of course. The hotel has a club lounge where we could unwind after the drive with complimentary snacks and drinks, including alcohol, and all was free and unlimited. The room was super spacious and designed nicely, with a huge hot tube jacuzzi, and since we took the ocean view room, the view overlooking the ocean and bridge was just breath-taking 👌 The breakfast was just right, and they totally accommodated my meal requests and accomplished to have a very good result... 5 stars here and I would totally want to come back!

We stayed at Negiya Ryofukaku in Arima Onsen during the maple leaf season, opting for the West Wing's deluxe Japanese-Western mixed room with a mountain view. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making us feel truly comfortable. Looking out the window, the mountain was ablaze with vibrant red maple leaves, like a flowing oil painting—the scenery far exceeded our expectations. Upon check-out, the hotel even thoughtfully arranged a car to take us to Arima Station, which was incredibly convenient.

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located right by the subway exit. The environment is also very pleasant, making for a very enjoyable stay. The hotel provides high-quality branded toiletries, and the bed is super comfortable. It's a highly recommended place to stay when visiting Kobe.

It took me a while to write this review, but I still have wonderful memories of my Kobe trip, all thanks to this hotel! 1️⃣ Excellent Location: Super close to the airport limousine bus drop-off point, with a Lawson convenience store downstairs, three supermarkets nearby (Aeon, Ikari), walking distance to major shopping malls, and a subway station right across the street… Simply unbeatable! I was particularly satisfied with the airport bus aspect, so let me elaborate a little: After taking the [Kansai Airport Bus] to [Sannomiya Station Kobe], cross the road twice (as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2). Once you see the [Lawson convenience store], walk four or five steps down the small alley beside it, and you'll see a sign (as shown in Figure 3) for the hotel. I've borrowed the route map from the hotel's official website and added some notes, hoping it helps~ (P.S. The bus drop-off point cannot be used for return trips to Kansai Airport! If you want to take a bus from Kobe back to Kansai Airport, the boarding point is at the [Airport Bus Ticket Kiosk 空港リムジンバス券売機] [〒650-0021 兵庫県神戸市中央区三宮町１丁目１０−10]. It's actually a bit of a distance to get there, so a taxi is recommended. It cost me about 50 RMB). 2️⃣ Service and Details: The staff were very polite. The lobby offered skincare and sun protection products, as well as a wide variety of tea bags! (Rooibos tea, Earl Grey, honey black tea, apple tea, chamomile, Darjeeling…) A delightful surprise for tea lovers! Every flavor was excellent! 3️⃣ Room and Eco-friendly Concept: The room had enough space for luggage, and the bedding was very comfortable. While I could see the railway from the window, there was absolutely no noise. Also, since it's an eco-friendly hotel, no bottled water is provided. However, there are cups in the room (not to be taken away) and water dispensers in the hallway for guests to get free hot and cold water.

I booked this place at the last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Arima Onsen by one night and most hotels were fully-booked. I searched on *********** but couldn't find any suitable accomodation so thought to try Trip.com. This hotel came up only on this site and I was delighted to find it. At first I was concerned by the lack of reviews, but all the reviews were good and the room looked ideal for a family of four; 2 western beds and 2 tatami beds, with spacious living area and separate bathroom and toilet. It was really great value for money. The size of the room was very generous, and the facilities were great. We made use of the Onsen baths and the table tennis room during our stay. None of the staff spoke english but this wasn't an issue as they were all adept at using google translate. The location is also fine - it is situated between the town and the ropeway, so it is easy walking distance to each, which was very useful since they dont offer any shuttle service. All in all I would reccomend it for a short stay in Arima onsen as it is really good value for money.

The hotel is located in a somewhat remote area on a mountain, but they offer a shuttle service. We called the hotel from the visitor center, and a car arrived within minutes. Since we had stayed at another onsen hotel the previous night with luggage storage, we asked the driver if he could take us to collect our luggage before checking into Arima Princess Hotel. He readily agreed. The service was excellent. The hotel has indoor red bath (lighter) and silver bath, but unfortunately, there's no open-air bath. They also took us to the station when we left.
