Amazing
CCoCo.ChanelI booked this hotel because it was touted as one of Asia's top 100 onsen hotels for 2025. However, apart from the hot springs being decent, every other aspect of the service was a massive letdown. To begin with, both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast the following day were truly subpar. The room was dreadfully small. Furthermore, despite inquiring about kimonos (as there were none in the room) with both the front desk manager and a server, who assured us they would send them up shortly and even took our sizes, not a single kimono materialized by the time we checked out the next day. We paid over 7,000 RMB for a family tatami room for four, including breakfast and dinner. At this price point, anyone staying here is simply getting ripped off. There will absolutely not be a second visit, and I also sensed a certain unfriendliness towards Chinese guests.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are large and clean, we enjoyed the bar with a jazz singer, the food was delicious. I love the jacuzzi bubblebath and the amenities is awesome all rooms has verandas you can see the beautiful view of kobe tower & port .The only thing I didn't like was the receptionist at the front desk, not friendly, the treatment was not welcoming, you didn't see a smile when greeting.

Amazing
IIpThe hotel is conveniently located, only 2 minute walk from the bus stop on the main street of Arima. I believe it could be the oldest hotel within the area, judging from the deco. And yet it provides the environment and the atmosphere that we like from an onsen hotel. The onsen on the top floor is medium in size, and providing both gold and silver hot spa that are both famous in the place. Hotel set menu is good. And the hotel is very thoughtful by arranging different menu set for us for each day. Hotel staff are friendly.

AAndrea ElijhaOverall, the experience was pleasant, with the only minor drawback being the price, which was a bit steep. While I had hoped for a more traditional Japanese garden and architecture, the hotel itself leans towards a modern Japanese aesthetic. Visiting in summer, gazing at the lush green mountains through the window truly feels like a picturesque framed view, and the hot springs were wonderfully rejuvenating. However, I suspect autumn would be the most opportune time to visit, to witness the mountains ablaze with crimson foliage (assuming the trees aren't evergreen). A misunderstanding arose at check-out due to unclear communication regarding payment policies between the booking platform, the hotel, and myself. The hotel insisted they had not received the online payment and demanded offline payment for a range of services, including breakfast, dinner, taxes, accommodation, and private onsen. As a customer, I initially thought I was being double-charged, as I had already made a payment online. The total cost for the two-day stay was approximately 221,110 JPY, which converts to roughly 11,000 HKD or CNY. Upon immediately contacting Trip.com's customer service, they confirmed that our online payment covered both accommodation and meals, and advised that the hotel's demand for offline payment for these items was contentious and unnecessary. It was only later clarified that the payment made on Trip.com was merely a hold to secure the room and would be fully refunded upon check-out.

Llljjpp****The main purpose of this trip is to come here to soak in the hot springs. I stayed here for 3 days and felt very good. The small town of Arima is full of bathing hotels. When walking around Arima town, it seems that there are not many Chinese tourists, and most of them are Japanese tourists on weekends. The hotel where I stayed was very quiet because children were not welcome and children under 12 years old were not allowed to stay. In particular, I would like to talk about the service of this hotel. The first is the catering. They will make various adjustments to your three-day meal. Although they are all set meals, they will make different combinations of various ingredients. The only drawback is that the dinner is too large. Let's talk about the service. It should be first-class. When you walk into the hotel, someone will take the initiative to take your luggage. When you check in, your luggage has been sent to the guest room. When you arrive at the front desk, After verifying your identity, a service lady will take you to the guest room, and then carefully introduce you to various service facilities and everything you need to know. The hotel's cleaning is also very unique. Daily cleaning is carried out by a service lady who leads all the cleaning staff. The cleaning staff have their own division of labor. They clean the floor, make the beds, tidy the bathroom, and organize tea sets and food. It is operated by different people to ensure that people doing hygiene will not touch the tea sets and food. Let’s also talk about the language. Although there are no Chinese-speaking staff in the hotel, with the translation software and the staff’s serious and enthusiastic service attitude, there is no obstacle. The biggest emotion is that there are not many people here during the Spring Festival, so I really enjoy it

GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely fantastic. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, and the room itself was very comfortable. The traditional Japanese-style room (washitsu) was a particularly charming touch. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisitely prepared, and the onsen (hot spring) was wonderfully relaxing. We stayed with my parents and children, and everyone in our group was thoroughly delighted.

AAnders L.Stunning views, almost all rooms face west towards the bridge and sunset. Excellent location, the beach is right in front, but you have to cross under tracks and highway, 5-6 min walk after you exit the escalator. Beds in adjoining rooms are large, we could easily fit a family of 6 in 2 rooms, and you even add extra beds if needed.

GGuest UserA very good Glamping experience, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very polite and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were cooked by the staff in the room, and we enjoyed them in our room facing the beautiful view. Alcoholic drinks were also provided free of charge! Unfortunately we arrived too late and missed some activities. If I have the chance, I will definitely come again!

AAdrian Tan HxGood: The hotel is centrally located and offers excellent amenities. Bad: Despite arriving at 10 a.m. after a red-eye flight, I was denied early check-in even though my room was already available. My luggage was placed in the room, but I was told to return at 2:45 p.m. unless I paid an additional 2,000 yen per hour for early access. Bad: The room had a strong cigarette smell, which was very unpleasant.

AAsharonThe homestay is located near Xiwuzi Station. There are many foods around. Just by the sea, you can see the Akashihai Bridge. At night, the bridge is lit with lights, and the waves are heard during the day. The environment is good. The staff is also very good at serving. It is a group of young people who will help with luggage. Very lucky that night, the room was alone, otherwise it might be a bit crowded. The room will have a little taste.
