Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya, Kobe's busiest area, and 3 minutes from Motomachi Station. Downstairs is Nanjing Town, full of Chinese restaurants, which is basically Kobe's Chinatown food street. It's very convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. The hotel's top floor has a sauna and hot bath, along with various free cold drinks and coffee. From 9:30 PM, they also offer complimentary special soy sauce ramen as a late-night snack. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need; two large suitcases can be opened up without a problem. They don't provide daily cleaning service, but if you leave your trash and used towels outside the door, the staff will collect them and provide fresh ones. Overall, everything was excellent and quiet. Every day I'd wake up and it would already be almost 10 AM! 😂 I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

AAmberོThis is my second visit. Both breakfast and dinner were exquisite traditional Japanese Kaiseki cuisine. The hot springs (onsen) were a definite highlight, featuring both the unique 'Golden Spring' (Kinsen) and 'Silver Spring' (Ginsen). The ambiance was very pleasant, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I'll certainly be returning and will highly recommend it to all my friends.

MMeowVanThe service was impeccable. The staff were very friendly and generally able to communicate in English. Their service is so good that they wipe down all your luggage upon arrival at the hotel, and my bags came out cleaner than when I came! The food also left us speechless. I’ve never tasted such a delicious meal, and I consider myself a foodie. The dishes were prepared fresh right in front of us. Every detail was attended to, from presentation to taste. It deserves a 100% without a doubt. Since I had a food allergy, they were careful to leave out the allergen in all the foods. I was really thankful for that, because it’s not always a given at Asian restaurants. The establishment itself is dated, but that’s why we chose it in the first place- to feel the aura of tradition. Having said that though, it was slightly inconvenient that there was no shower inside our room. However, it wasn’t too much of a problem because the shared shower/onsen room was just a short distance from our room, and it was generally not occupied. When we stayed there, there was a storm going on, so the the rain crashing on the window and the outside blinds gave off a spooky feeling, which added to the sense of adventure.

AAnonymous UserMy stay at Hotel Okura Kobe was generally good, but there are a few details worth sharing. Since the hotel was fully booked when we checked in, we were assigned a mountain view room and missed out on the sea view. If you're set on a sea view, I'd recommend opting for the nearby Oriental Hotel Meriken Park instead. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but what they offered was refined, with a good mix of Western and Asian options that should satisfy most tastes. What I liked most was the hotel's location, which made getting around very convenient. Plus, the room size was quite generous for a Japanese hotel, making for a comfortable and uncrowded stay. Overall, Hotel Okura Kobe is a good choice for travelers seeking convenience and comfort.

JJanJanSnoopyThe hotel is a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station, but it is located in a side street, so it is very quiet at night. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel also provides breakfast for every guest. Although there are not many styles, it is also Pretty good!

11376160****Let's start with the location. It's actually a bit of a walk from Sannomiya subway station, about 10 minutes on foot. This isn't a problem if you don't have heavy luggage, but if you're pushing a cart full of bags, it can be a bit strenuous. Luckily, you just walk straight along the Yamanote Line, cross a large intersection (via the overpass), and you're there. It's relatively easy to find. As for cleanliness, it's very clean and tidy. It's a quick-service hotel under Sheraton, and everything is quite well-thought-out. Regarding facilities, the hotel's amenities are sufficient. Although bottled water isn't provided, there's a water dispenser with both hot and cold water. There's also a microwave and washing machine on the first floor. For service, check-in and check-out are very quick. If you're staying for multiple nights, daily housekeeping is offered. Necessities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cream, and facial cleanser can be self-served. If breakfast is included, it's at the Matsuya next door, which is convenient.

QQingliurenPros: 1. The lobby is grand and spacious, which is quite rare for hotels in Japan. 2. The location is excellent. There's a subway station right downstairs, and Shin-Kobe Station is just a 3-minute walk away, making Shinkansen access super convenient. The cable car station for Nunobiki Herb Garden is also next door, and Kitano Ijinkan (Foreigner's Residences) is only a 10-minute walk. 3. The view from the guest room window is lovely. 4. The breakfast buffet is of high quality, and there's also a Japanese set breakfast option (if you're staying only 1-2 nights, I recommend sticking to the buffet; for three nights, you might try the set meal one day). 5. The staff are well-trained and have excellent service attitudes. Cons: 1. The guest rooms' decor and furniture are quite outdated and lack design flair. They are overly simple and plain, not matching the impressive lobby. 2. In November, there was no air conditioning in the room. The south-facing room got a lot of sun, making it very stuffy and hot. I had to keep the emergency exit open to make it more bearable. Overall, it's still worth recommending.

GGuest UserMy views is just merely the location, it's quite away from the city and my experience of the rail & subway seems not at all friendly comparing with all my whole trip. maybe there is much construction happening therefore it hinders the walk-way and directions signs & so forth. If not mistaken, the photo on the web seems not matching with the present, if that's so, would be good to up-date it. - facilities: Yes, it very good. - Food: Excellent.

FFuyunlingfengThe most satisfactory hotel on this trip, the service staff is super enthusiastic and thoughtful. I called the hotel front desk immediately when I arrived at the bus station, and the hotel shuttle bus arrived in about 5 minutes. Don't walk to the hotel by yourself, don't! ! ! The hotel facilities are not bad. The room is not big, but it has everything it should have. The Jintang Hot Spring is really great and washed away the fatigue along the way! I booked a one-night stay and two-night stay. The kaiseki cuisine for dinner was great! The quantity was very large! The quantity was very large! I went back to the room after eating too much, and rested for an hour before going to the hot spring! The next day, I ran directly to the train station, which was very convenient! The hotel provides carbonated cakes and Japanese confectionery. After eating, you can consider whether you really want to buy this as a souvenir.

LLucky101I recently stayed at the Kobe Sannomiya Tokyu Rei Hotel during my visit to the Kobe Exhibition, and I must say it was an excellent choice. The location is ideal, just a 15-minute subway ride to the exhibition center, with a direct line making the journey straightforward and hassle-free. The hotel's proximity to the subway is a major plus, offering seamless travel around the city. Notably, there's only one line change required to get to Osaka, making it convenient for day trips or additional business meetings. Surrounding the hotel, you'll find a plethora of restaurants catering to all tastes, ensuring you won't go hungry. Additionally, there's a massage center nearby, perfect for relaxing after a long day of activities. For those traveling by night buses, the station is conveniently close, making late-night travel plans easy to manage. While the hotel amenities were generally good, I did miss the availability of free coffee, which would have been a nice touch. However, this was a minor issue in an otherwise excellent stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Kobe Sannomiya Tokyu Rei Hotel for its prime location, convenience, and the abundance of nearby facilities. It’s an ideal choice for anyone visiting Kobe, whether for business or leisure.
