The hotel is located in Chinatown, surrounded by tons of great food options, and transportation is quite convenient.
The indoor hot spring, sauna, and bath facilities are absolutely wonderful! If you love soaking in hot springs and enjoying a sauna, you definitely shouldn't miss this. Soaking multiple times a day is pure bliss!
The staff's service attitude is great, and the hygiene and environment are also very good. Although the room size isn't large, it's really clean and tidy. The clothes and slippers provided were perfect to change into before heading straight to the bath!
Some of Kobe's attractions are also within walking distance. I highly recommend this place to all my friends!

Because it is not very large, it only has 2 indoor hot springs (but you can use the outdoor hot spring in the main building), and the indoor hot spring is relatively small. As for the food, the portions are not too big and the ingredients are not very high-end, but the taste is good. As for the service attitude, except for the female waiter I met when checking out in the morning, the others were good (the chefs were also very friendly).

AAndrea ElijhaOverall, the experience was pleasant, with the only minor drawback being the price, which was a bit steep. While I had hoped for a more traditional Japanese garden and architecture, the hotel itself leans towards a modern Japanese aesthetic.
Visiting in summer, gazing at the lush green mountains through the window truly feels like a picturesque framed view, and the hot springs were wonderfully rejuvenating. However, I suspect autumn would be the most opportune time to visit, to witness the mountains ablaze with crimson foliage (assuming the trees aren't evergreen).
A misunderstanding arose at check-out due to unclear communication regarding payment policies between the booking platform, the hotel, and myself. The hotel insisted they had not received the online payment and demanded offline payment for a range of services, including breakfast, dinner, taxes, accommodation, and private onsen. As a customer, I initially thought I was being double-charged, as I had already made a payment online. The total cost for the two-day stay was approximately 221,110 JPY, which converts to roughly 11,000 HKD or CNY.
Upon immediately contacting Trip.com's customer service, they confirmed that our online payment covered both accommodation and meals, and advised that the hotel's demand for offline payment for these items was contentious and unnecessary. It was only later clarified that the payment made on Trip.com was merely a hold to secure the room and would be fully refunded upon check-out.

KkusanokiAlmost a perfect stay. First off, having a 12 PM checkout in Japan is already a huge plus. We arrived around 8 PM the night before, and the front desk staff were still in great spirits. The room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning, with the night view being even more captivating than during the day.
The only slight downside was the breakfast; for 3800 JPY per person, the selection wasn't very extensive, though the taste was decent enough.

The hotel also provides breakfast for every guest. Although there are not many styles, it is also Pretty good!

SsarymeThe room was quite new, and it's less than a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station. There's a Matsuya and a convenience store right downstairs, which was very convenient for visiting Kitano Ijinkan and Ikuta Shrine. The only minor drawback was the small bathtub.

1. The lobby is grand and spacious, which is quite rare for hotels in Japan.
2. The location is excellent. There's a subway station right downstairs, and Shin-Kobe Station is just a 3-minute walk away, making Shinkansen access super convenient. The cable car station for Nunobiki Herb Garden is also next door, and Kitano Ijinkan (Foreigner's Residences) is only a 10-minute walk.
3. The view from the guest room window is lovely.
4. The breakfast buffet is of high quality, and there's also a Japanese set breakfast option (if you're staying only 1-2 nights, I recommend sticking to the buffet; for three nights, you might try the set meal one day).
5. The staff are well-trained and have excellent service attitudes.
Cons:
1. The guest rooms' decor and furniture are quite outdated and lack design flair. They are overly simple and plain, not matching the impressive lobby.
2. In November, there was no air conditioning in the room. The south-facing room got a lot of sun, making it very stuffy and hot. I had to keep the emergency exit open to make it more bearable.
Overall, it's still worth recommending.

LlimmaysallyMost comfortable bed that I stay in Japan for the past 2 months. Lucky we stay here for 4 nights. Bed is very firm but not hard which is good for our back. Room is very clean and bathroom is spaces that I can sit on bath tub and shower. It would be perfect if the room is slightly bigger. They charge parking for 2000¥ for night which is too high for me but the front desk young lady ( ********* girl) who was very friendly and helpful, she recommended me to park my car at nearby coin parking which cost me on 800¥ for 24 hours. AAnonymous UserAlthough the facilities are old, but the hygiene level is still neat, if four people live in a small room is super crowded, recommended to add more than 1100 HKD to change a larger room, but was full room can not be replaced, 1 parking 2 meals package includes dinner kaiseki cuisine, feeling is a super ordinary meal with the group, don't have any expectations, sashimi is not fresh, beef shabu shabu is delicious, but the amount is very small, if you ask for guests, it is recommended to eat outside before staying, casually satisfy your hunger to stay for dinner. Also, a free bowl of ramen will be given in the evening to satisfy your hunger.
