The service was excellent. This room type was quite unique, and the 'blue hour' close to sunset was very therapeutic. The only minor issue was that the elevated indoor section connected to the terrace didn't get much AC. However, the staff were very responsive and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It's a shame I was in a rush and there were too many people for the noodle soup station this morning. I got to experience their newest smart room type. Due to a minor issue with a device, the front desk even kindly asked about my stay experience and offered a small gift as a token of apology when I checked out the next day. The service was truly meticulous. Every Orange hotel I've stayed at feels different, and this one definitely exceeded my expectations for the brand.

Having stayed in many hotels, this one left a great impression on me. The room size was just right, not feeling cramped at all. The bathroom was spotless, with no water marks or stains. The mattress was comfortable even after sleeping for a long time, providing an excellent sleep experience. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, making it easy to get anywhere. The staff were polite, and their service was just right, not overly enthusiastic. The price was reasonable, and overall, everything was well-balanced. It's a great choice for accommodation when traveling. Plus, they not only have a washing machine but also a dryer! [Yay]

Coming from Zhejiang to Beijing, I was truly amazed by the service here. The service at the Grand Hotel Beijing is outstanding. I strongly recommend a raise for the concierge team – they are truly the face of the hotel and must be among the best concierges in hotels nationwide. On our first day, a tall, slender gentleman at the entrance greeted us and escorted us to our room. My family wasn't happy with the corner room and requested a change, and he patiently helped us move our luggage up and down. Every day when we returned, the gentleman at the door would greet us with a pleasant Beijing accent. On our last day, checking out and rushing to catch a flight, a concierge (I apologize, I didn't catch his name) who was retrieving my checked luggage told me to run ahead while he followed with my bags. When we encountered a crowd at the entrance, he actually picked up my entire suitcase and ran with it! I'm so grateful; I made my flight thanks to him. Before coming to Beijing, I researched extensively on Ctrip. Beijing hotels are genuinely expensive and old. Honestly, if this hotel weren't next to the Forbidden City, its facilities would only be worth 400-500 CNY in Zhejiang. However, it's definitely better than the older hotels nearby, and it has been renovated, so guests can rest assured. It's the best and highest-rated hotel near the Forbidden City, and it's also close to Wangfujing subway station. Even though we stayed four nights, the hotel didn't include breakfast, and we didn't touch the mini-bar drinks, mainly because too many sugary drinks don't seem healthy. Also, the front desk staff, both male and female, were very good, and Ms. Jiang, who cleaned our room, kept it spotless. Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely stay at the Grand Hotel Beijing again.

The hotel boasts an excellent location within the MOMA Park on the Second Ring Road, close to the subway. It's incredibly convenient for getting to popular spots like Sanlitun, Yonghe Temple, Guozijian, and Wudaoying. It offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city, with an antique and charming living environment that is both comfortable and pleasant. During my stay, the staff were attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly friendly. I was very satisfied with this trip and will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.

Extremely satisfied with my stay. Customer service was prompt and efficient in resolving issues. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of high-quality options. The hotel's location is superb, and the bar's drinks and food are excellent; the beer and live band were also top-notch. The fitness facilities, environment, and classes were exceptional and unforgettable. For guests arriving by car, it would be great if a few hours of daily parking fees could be waived, but if not, dedicated parking spaces would still be a welcome addition.

Exceeded expectations! Got a free upgrade to a room in the heritage building. The room was quite spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. The best part was the excellent soundproofing; despite being on a street-facing side, there was no noise whatsoever, making it perfect for rest and relaxation. The location is superb, within walking distance to the Forbidden City, Capital Theater, and the National Art Museum of China. There's also Baye Hotpot on the first basement level, and security guards (armed police) are stationed at the entrance, ensuring absolute safety. I'll definitely stay here again when I come to watch a People's Art Theater play. Highly recommended!

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Beijing, and this one stands out. The hotel's location is super convenient for transportation. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the staff provides excellent service. A special shout-out to Manager He at the front desk – he was incredibly professional, warm, and attentive. He has a great knack for understanding guests' needs, possesses sharp judgment, and is very knowledgeable about all the famous old Beijing attractions. The hotel offers great value for money too. Highly recommended! Just a minor observation: the lobby has a lot of glass, so someone with poor eyesight might accidentally bump into a wall.

Absolutely stunning hotel The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and the decor was absolutely stunning. It really does look just like the photos. Its also easy walking distance to Wangfujing shopping street, to multiple subway lines, and to the Forbidden City. Dozens of food options right across the street too, but also several in-house restaurants and room service. Our room was spotlessly clean, the air was fresh and clean, and the housekeeping cleaned up and replaced our towels and amenities daily. The gym was very well equipped with commercial gym standard equipment - it doesnt open til 7am though. The swimming pool area was also lovely though we were too busy exploring Beijing and never got a chance to swim in it! We would both, most definitely, stay with Legendale again and would thoroughly recommend to others, too. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. We only wish we had stayed for a bit longer.

I had a really good stay this time. The room was thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was fresh, and I slept comfortably. There was plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were sufficient. The front desk staff were very nice; check-in and check-out were quick. The location is also convenient, close to shops and restaurants. The price was reasonable too. I felt very secure during my stay, definitely worth coming back.

This hotel offers pretty good value for money, with an excellent location and affordable prices. While the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. However, the customer service and the female front desk staff were quite subpar. They were unwilling to offer room upgrades or late check-outs, which was disappointing. I hope they improve, as it would be a shame to waste such a great location and the efforts of most of the other staff members.
