IIonutPAfter a 3 weeks trip in different cities in China, this was the best hotel we stayed at. Very nice staff, always smiling and ready to help with any request. It is very clean and confortable. You have everything you need, starting from bathrobes, clean towels everyday, toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, hair dryer, tea, coffee, water, all complementary. The water runs hot 24/7, the beds and pillows are super comfy. Also the location is very good (nice neighborhood and close to main attractions).

GGuest UserGreat hotel, but be careful with your belongings. Really enjoyed our stay — comfortable room, excellent service, great location. No complaints about the hotel itself. However, during our stay housekeeping changed the bed linen and accidentally (or not) took along a pair of socks that were tucked under the blanket. The socks were a limited edition Hello Kitty 50th anniversary pair — not something that looks expensive at a glance, but collectible and irreplaceable. A small Watsons tote bag also went missing around the same time — no monetary value, but we wanted to keep it as a souvenir from our trip. We reported both items at the front desk. Nothing was found. Maybe it was a mistake, but we think future guests should know: don't leave anything in the room that you'd be upset to lose, even if it looks ordinary.

YYunshangshushengMy stay at Atour Hotel far exceeded my expectations! The room layout was incredibly well-designed, with a logical flow from the moment you enter, past the vanity, to the sleeping area, making it very convenient to access everything. The cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was pristine and soft, the toiletries were neatly arranged, and even the electric kettle and complimentary drinks were perfectly organized. The biggest pleasant surprise was the smart home features throughout the room and the comfortable mattress – after a busy day, being able to completely relax here made all the fatigue from my business trip instantly disappear. The front desk service was warm and efficient, with no waiting time during check-in or check-out.

BBellawangbeilaThis hotel is located in the contemporary Moma community, offering a prime location that's incredibly convenient for exploring the eastern part of the area. The room size is excellent, and they were accommodating in moving me to a brighter room after I requested it. The hotel offers many hidden perks, like vouchers for a really good swimming pool and gym experience. There were also welcoming amenities (sour plum soup packets) and seasonal snacks (Qingtuan for the Qingming Festival). The room came with a humidifier, but it still felt a bit dry. Thankfully, water was delivered to the room whenever requested. The front desk is a bit hard to find, but that's probably due to its location within the community, making it less ostentatious. For parking, remember to park on B2 and follow the signs to the Manlan Hotel entrance. Collect your parking voucher from the hotel 15 minutes before you leave.

Wwj1981From the service to the facilities, and from the overall experience to the smallest details, this hotel was absolutely delightful! I'm so glad we chose it for our 20th wedding anniversary. We even received a complimentary cake and wine from the hotel, which was such a pleasant surprise and made us incredibly happy. The view from our room was stunning, with the CCTV Tower visible through the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel's location is also superb, right above the China World Shopping Mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. I've already recommended it to all my friends and colleagues, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Beijing!

GGuest UserVisited on August 2023. Stayed for 4nights. Location is not ideal. Its 15-30mins walk to either train stations. No straight path. Nearest shopping mall of any repute is 25mins walk away. Good thing is its vlose to a row of economical eateries that serves a wide variety of cuisines: from local to European. Convenient stores and massage spas nearby. Reception staff is generally polite and professional. Their command of English is not strong, but they tried to be as helpful as possible. They always booked my car rides for me when I asked them to. Pet friendly hotel..i cane across a few dogs going to the rooms. One of them is huge mixed. Room is spacious with lots of storage spaces. Fittings are a bit dated. They are undergoing scheduled renovations, so hopefully it will be better. Housekeeping staff are polite, but expect very little English. Gym: air-conditioning control is not working. The equipment is old. There's a cat den right outside the window tho..so if you are a cat lover, there's lots of purry little ones playing in the garden space outside. Cafe: its converted from one of the rooms..not a full cafe. Breakfast is whatever they have. Almost the same everyday. Toast, hard boil eggs, porridge, and a selection of cooked items.

ZZhongtoubuzhongFor our Chinese New Year trip to Beijing, I spent a long time looking at hotels and finally chose Artyzen Habitat near Dongzhimen. Our main reason for picking Artyzen Habitat was that we're a family of four (two adults, two kids), and after a long search, most family rooms were either too expensive, unavailable, or too far from the city's attractions. The Habitat Twin Room at Artyzen is very spacious, with two 1.4-meter beds, a small living area, a kitchenette with a dining table, and even a microwave oven, induction hob, and cutlery. It's really convenient if you want to cook for yourself. This room type is perfectly adequate for two adults and two children. The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's very close to Sanlitun, Yonghe Temple, and Ditan Park, and it's only a 20-30 minute ride to other city attractions. The subway station isn't too far either, making getting around quite easy. Opening the room window, we could even see a frozen lake in the MOMA community – a first for our Southern kids! 😄 The hotel service was pretty standard, nothing particularly special, but all our basic needs were met. They also have delivery robots, so you don't need to go downstairs to pick up your takeout, which is quite handy. On the second basement level, there's a gym with a good variety of equipment. Next to the gym is a laundry room. The hotel's amenities are quite comprehensive, making it very suitable for family trips or extended business stays.

EEmmakmcThe hotel felt very safe which was nice as a solo female traveler, although my experience in China as a whole has felt safe. I like that you can only access your floor if you have a room key for the given floor. Also, the large open concept makes all doors to rooms visible from any given point which also makes it feel safe. Doormen to open all doors in the lobby area which is really nice and they bring your luggage to the room. The hotel slippers are the BEST I’ve ever used, not like regular hotel slippers. Ai soft and comfortable. One thing I didn’t like was the large deposit (around $300USD) they needed for the room upon arrival, but it was fine. I’m just not used to that in China. The only downside is that some things need updating
you can tell the hotel is pretty old and with time, a hotel room can only feel so clean. Overall it was as clean as possible given it looks like it’s been a while since they have renovated. Still super clean I’m just picky! I would definitely stay here again. If you want a true “Chinese feel” while staying in Beijing this won’t be the place, but as someone living in China wanting a different feel, it was great. It felt as though I was in Europe somewhere. The concierge spoke English and were always helpful and attentive. The power outlets are older but they provided adapters. The bedside adapter was great, but the other ones in the common area and bathroom i would not use again. I plugged in my smart ring charger in the bathroom and it shorted and shocked me when touching the opposite end of the charger away from the outlet. My hand felt tingly for a few minutes but went away and I was fine. Overall my experience was very positive. I think if they did some minor renovations to modernize a bit, this hotel would be perfect.

YYuyeyoumingAfter looking at three or four hotels, I decided to stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing for my trip to Beijing, mainly because of its proximity to the subway, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite grand, and while the service is very traditional, it gets the job done. I contacted the hotel in advance and asked the front desk to book a room on the highest floor within the same price range, with a view of the CCTV Tower. They managed to arrange all of this, which I was very pleased with. However, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned; if you order takeout, there's no robot or staff to deliver it, so you have to go down and pick it up yourself. The room itself is quite spacious and also has a traditional feel. One quirky thing is the power outlets: one nightstand has an outlet, but the other doesn't. This made it impossible to charge my phone while lying in bed, so I had to go to the supermarket the next day to buy an extension cord. Also, the power outlets are quite old-fashioned, not the new national standard, and many of them are loose. The bathroom has two showerheads, a main one and a side one. I assume the side one is for people sitting down, but one thing they might not have considered is where to put clean clothes for changing. If you put them inside, they'll get wet during the shower. If you put them outside, isn't it a bit awkward to walk out naked? The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite good, with a wide variety of dishes. The mini hash browns, in particular, taste exactly like the ones sold at McDonald's and KFC. Finally, I want to especially thank the bespectacled housekeeper on the 24th floor. Her service was excellent, she was very polite, and the room was cleaned impeccably. She left a particularly good and warm impression. I didn't take many photos of the hotel, so consider these for reference. Also, the Hema Supermarket is about 600-700 meters west of the hotel, which is convenient for buying things.

GGuest UserQuietly nestled within the Second Ring Road! It's right next to Metro Lines 7 and 14, offering convenient access to attractions like Guomao and the Forbidden City. Plus, there are plenty of time-honored restaurants nearby. The hotel lobby features beautifully carved screens that exude an antique charm. The rooms are spacious and clean, and housekeeping is meticulous, showing great attention to detail. This hotel is perfect for both business and leisure travelers, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Beijing!
