Travelodge Madrid Metropolitano

Good location and relatively close to the metropolitano (bus rapid transit system), comfortable room.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. It was super clean, quiet, and the service was excellent. The reception is open 24 hours. The cafe is always open and very cozy. They'll store your luggage for free; our flight was at 11 PM, and they kept our bags all afternoon without charging us a thing. The metro station is about a 15-minute walk away. There are pharmacies, bars, and supermarkets just a few blocks away. Everything was great! And the room was very nice and clean.

We only stayed for one night as we were passing through on our way to my daughter's graduation outside of Madrid. However, we noticed there were very convenient public transport links to the city center nearby. The hotel was comfortable, the staff very attentive, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the room was spacious with air conditioning (it was terribly hot in Madrid!). Overall, it was perfect for what we needed. For breakfast, I missed having some sugar-free cereal, and there were no natural yogurts left, but that was the only 'minor downside'.

The room was really spacious and very quiet – truly excellent! The breakfast was abundant and delicious. They also have a huge parking lot, so it's perfect if you're driving.

First off, the front desk service was excellent, and they were very helpful with storing my luggage. The hygiene was also superb, absolutely nothing to complain about there. As for the facilities, everything was great except for the slightly narrow desk. Lastly, regarding the location, it's quite convenient to the subway station, but considering the uphill walk, it's just average. There are many restaurants nearby, which is a big plus.

Far from the city center, but well-connected by metro and bus. Cozy hotel.
