Hilton Wuhan Shimao Hotel is located in Binjiang Avenue, Hanyang, Wuhan, which is a traffic fortress leading to Hankou and Wuchang. It is one step away from the Hanyang River Beach, adjacent to the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge. More than 50% of the hotel rooms are 180 degree river view rooms. Through french window, you can enjoy the night view of the river city; The Chinese restaurant in the hotel is renowned and is your top choice for tasting local Hubei cuisine. It is only a 15 minute drive from Wuchang Railway Station and a 45 minute drive from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport. The hotel is located near famous tourist attractions in Wuhan such as the Yellow Crane Tower, Parrot Island Bridge, and Guiyuan Temple. Metro Line 4/6 provides direct access to the hotel

"The entire building is a Hilton property. The location of the entire building is excellent. The room I booked offered views of the Yangtze River Bridge and Yellow Crane Tower. The room type was quite spacious, and the view was fantastic. I checked in late, and communicated with Huang Rui, the lobby manager. He reserved a room for me, answered all my questions during the process, and tried his best to meet my needs, which was very considerate. The breakfast was rich and varied. There were also room type benefits arranged for both the afternoon and evening. Although the room's decor isn't a modern, new style, you can tell that the materials, craftsmanship, and design used during its original renovation were quite good, and it's also well-maintained. The cleanliness upon check-in and throughout my stay was also quite good. The design of the shower valve in the bathroom was a bit odd; it was stiff to use and operated in an unusual way. Fortunately, the water pressure was decent. The TV in the room was a bit small and outdated. This could be considered an area for improvement."

GGuest UserI'm a light sleeper, and the front desk was kind enough to upgrade me to an executive room. There were even some welcome snacks in the room. It was raining continuously in Wuhan during my stay, so I ended up spending most of my time at the hotel. The overall room design was well-thought-out, and the bathroom area was spacious, with a bathtub offering a direct view of the high-rise cityscape. The pool and gym weren't crowded, which was very comfortable. Although it's not in the city center, there are plenty of dining options, including a pretty good Cai Lin Ji hot dry noodle place nearby. The only minor issue was that I put out the sign for a second housekeeping service during dinner, but no one came. Perhaps I needed to call.

GGuest UserThis time I took the time to visit Wuhan. I went to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, the river beach and the Yellow Crane Tower. Although the weather in Wuhan was very hot and tiring, it was still very rewarding! This time I chose Wuhan Zhuankou Sports Center Fengdu Hotel. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was hit by the fragrance. The lobby is full of decoration and has a metallic texture. The young brothers and sisters at the front desk were also very friendly. They were polite, took the initiative to help carry their luggage, and helped arrange a room near Taizi Lake. The rooms are large in size, all are voice-controlled, and songs can be played in the room. It feels like the room is full of technology! I highly recommend everyone to visit Wuhan, and I also recommend you to choose Fengdu Hotel in Zhuankou, Wuhan! ! !

Yyiyi8I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time. The front desk staff was very welcoming, greeting me as soon as I walked in. When I checked in, they saw I had booked a room without breakfast and very generously offered me a complimentary breakfast, which was fantastic! The hotel lobby decorations and music already had a festive Chinese New Year vibe. The parking lot at the entrance was also very convenient.

SSiyerI blindly booked an Executive Skyview King Room at the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan for three days and two nights. Then, on May 30th, thanks to being unable to pay for an upgrade at a former top-tier luxury hotel, I unhesitatingly extended my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan for another five days and four nights. This allowed me to have an incredibly pleasant May Day 'Staycation' during my brief eight-day visit to Wuhan. Before checking in, I received a pre-arrival call from Camellia, the Executive Lounge Supervisor, and multiple contacts on the day of my arrival. She came downstairs to greet me, proactively informed me about changes in the weather, and after check-in, arranged for an upgrade and informed me of dinner times. Because she noticed my voice was slightly hoarse during the pre-arrival call, she thoughtfully prepared rock sugar stewed pear (P4), which was served during dinner at the Executive Lounge. This genuinely impressed me, a frequent traveler who often calls hotels home due to work, even though it wasn't my first time in Wuhan but my first stay at a newly opened hotel. Over the next two days, whether it was the three daily meals (the executive five meals in this 'Carb Capital' luxury hotel were truly more than a normal person could handle! So good! 👍) or every aspect of housekeeping and daily life, especially the 'hidden menu' six-course breakfast (P5-P10) specially prepared by Executive Lounge Manager Angus during breakfast on the second day – it was full of surprises with not a single misstep. I'd even suggest that those with smaller appetites might consider ordering à la carte, because if you eat it all, you'll find that besides feeling 'carb-ed out,' you might not even be able to enjoy a pleasant afternoon or a rich dinner. 🧸 Don't ask me how I know! During my eight-day stay, almost every day was filled with joy, happiness, and, of course, various delicious foods and wines. 🥂 As a friend who moved from a former top-tier luxury hotel in Wuhan to the Ritz-Carlton on May Day said, 'It's rare to see me stay in one hotel for so long' (due to my allergies, I have high demands for food and lodging). But indeed, since checking in on April 27th, for someone who usually works late and doesn't sleep until after midnight, being able to fall asleep punctually at 10:30 PM every night was something I couldn't even imagine myself doing. As for the food, whether it was Chinese or Western Xiangyang beef noodles, tomato meat sauce pasta, crayfish cold noodles, Australian beef and lamb chops, pan-fried cod and salmon, abalone braised pork, creamy pumpkin soup, mushroom cream soup, cordyceps old chicken/duck soup, or even daily freshly squeezed cucumber juice and golden passion fruit – there was such a variety of dishes and desserts, from breakfast to dinner, that I didn't even have time to try them all. And let's not forget the cocktails made by Ari and Carah! 🍸 So, taking this opportunity to review my order, I must express my gratitude to the Executive Lounge team: Angus, Camellia, Carah, Ari, May, Freya, and Alina; Chef Yuuki, Kenny, and Chef Gong Feng (whose English name I don't know); Lumi, the supervisor of the lobby cafe; the super lovely Aunt Liu Yuping, who was responsible for daily room cleaning; and the super careful and honest Master Li, the hotel's chauffeur! Thank you all for your professional service and customer-first attitude, which made the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan my top choice for a staycation along the Yangtze River in the magnificent city of Wuhan. See you next time in Wuhan!

HheeqinnI stayed for three nights during Hilton's peak year-end conference season, with many company annual meetings. I almost couldn't book a room through Trip.com. The young man at the front desk was a bit stingy, refusing either breakfast or executive lounge access. However, thanks to a helpful friend in the reservations department, I paid the difference and stayed in an executive suite for three nights. Although it wasn't a lake view room, my positive impression from previous stays continued. The hotel's service in all aspects was good, and despite being peak annual meeting season, it wasn't noisy. Special commendation goes to Feng Chongtian and Chen Zhishan from the health center and kids' club! They were especially friendly and patient with children.😄

GGuest UserI've stayed here multiple times, and the absolute best part is their self-service laundry room! You can just toss your shirts and suits in to wash and dry, and they come out perfectly wrinkle-free the next day – no hand-washing, it's such a lifesaver. The bathroom also has a great wet/dry separation. Plus, the lobby has these shared workstations, which are super convenient if you occasionally need to get some work done downstairs. The location is incredibly convenient, and it's worth noting that the front desk service is excellent – patient and attentive. The hotel itself is very clean, and it's surrounded by the old town, giving it a vibrant, authentic local atmosphere.

GGuest UserThe hotel lobby has a great ambiance; I'd always relax there after a day out. It's super convenient, just a two-minute walk to the subway station to the left, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology is within walking distance. Peggy was fantastic, providing top-notch service! Thumbs up to her!

Ddaxiong792The guy at the front desk was really great. My train arrived at 5 AM, so I got to the hotel by taxi just before 6 AM. I explained the situation to him, and he took it seriously. As soon as a room was cleaned, he got me checked in right away. Plus, he even upgraded my room! The location is fantastic, with so many places to eat in Wansongyuan. Liangliang Steamed Crayfish and Bali Crayfish, their main branches are both just a few minutes' walk away. And Wuhan's famous 'queue-king' restaurants are even closer, like Xiazhi Claypot. Right next door is Huayuan Dao, which is absolutely beautiful when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. There are also lots of small bars nearby, it's just so convenient!
