"My stay at Shuí Yún Lán Hotel was fantastic! The location is superb, right off a bustling pedestrian street with tons of great food options around, making it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. What truly impressed me was the service. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even offering welcome drinks upon check-in. The lobby has a lounge area with complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks. The housekeeping staff were not only meticulous with daily cleaning but also left thoughtful notes. The smart robot delivery service was a fun touch too. All in all, it's excellent value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!"

"The hotel is conveniently located near Hanjiang Road Pedestrian Street and Hanjiang Road Metro Station, making it easy to get around. It only takes about half an hour to reach Hankou Railway Station. Even though the hotel is on a higher floor, there are two dedicated elevators, so waiting times were minimal. The Executive City View room offered a fantastic view, with glimpses of the Yangtze River and the Yangtze River Bridge, and the room itself was very clean. Aside from the road construction and water accumulation from heavy rain outside, which caused some inconvenience, and a bit of a delay when calling for a taxi due to traffic congestion in the area, everything else was quite satisfactory."

"The front desk staff processed our check-in quickly. Knowing we were traveling with elderly people and children, they thoughtfully arranged our rooms on the same floor: 2817 and 2820. Sun Qijie from the concierge team was very helpful and enthusiastic, assisting us with our luggage. The room had a separate wet and dry area. Duan Liwen from housekeeping not only kept the room spotless but was also very thoughtful; seeing that I was doing laundry, she even brought me a packet of detergent. Any issues were resolved promptly. Overall, it was a great stay."

Hotel near Chu River and Han Street, East Lake Scenic Area,Wuhan
"After comparing multiple options for my trip to Wuhan, I chose to stay at the Marriott Hotel Xiangtou. Overall, it's a new high-rise hotel with impressive hardware, inconsistent service, and low-tier executive benefits. It has clear pros and cons. **[Pros | Highlights of my stay]** 1. **Brand new hotel, excellent hardware quality:** The hotel was completed in 2023, having been open for only three years. The facilities are all new with no signs of wear and tear. The decor is modern and minimalist, and the public areas, guest rooms, and corridors are very clean. There's no musty smell or dated feel often found in older hotels, indicating a solid foundation in terms of hardware. 2. **Stunning high-rise lake views, incredible night scenery:** I stayed in a panoramic view room, which featured large floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the entire Shahu Lake. Being on the 50th floor, the city lights at night were dazzling, and the open night view of Shahu Lake created a wonderful ambiance. This was the most therapeutic and impressive highlight of my entire trip. 3. **High window safety, peace of mind during typhoon weather:** My stay coincided with a typhoon, so I specifically checked the view windows. They were standard double-layered soundproof and explosion-proof glass with 3C certification marks, ensuring high-altitude wind and pressure resistance. This provided a strong sense of security during extreme weather. 4. **Thoughtful detail design, great for travel laundry:** The clothes drying rack in the bathroom was cleverly positioned directly under the air conditioning vent. Clothes washed during the trip could be completely dried overnight, which is extremely convenient for families and short-term travelers. It's a very thoughtful, subtle detail. 5. **Warm departure service, excellent ending experience:** When checking out at the end of my trip, the lobby staff proactively approached me. Three staff members worked together to help push and carry all my luggage, kindly escorting me to the taxi and ensuring it was properly loaded. The sense of ceremony and warmth of service during departure were exceptional, making for a very pleasant end to my stay. **[Cons | Obvious drawbacks, strong sense of discrepancy]** 1. **Poor initial service, terrible arrival experience:** Upon arrival, the parking area in front of the hotel was chaotic, and my ride-hailing car had to awkwardly reverse to park. There was no doorman, greeter, or luggage assistance throughout. I had to carry all my large luggage myself. After inquiring at the front desk, I was told the hotel doesn't offer luggage service for guest rooms, which is no different from a budget hotel. This completely falls short of Marriott's high-end hotel positioning and greatly diminished my first impression. 2. **Noticeable ear pressure on high floors, initial discomfort:** The guest rooms are located on the 50th floor, which is extremely high. Upon entering the room, there's a noticeable change in ear pressure and a feeling of fullness in the eardrums, requiring some time to adapt. This isn't very friendly for sensitive individuals or children. 3. **Inadequate cleaning of view windows, poor daytime viewing experience:** While the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a spectacular night view, during the day when the light was clear, I could clearly see the glass surface covered with stains and watermarks. The cleaning was not thorough enough, severely impacting the daytime viewing experience of Shahu Lake and wasting the excellent high-altitude view. 4. **Perfunctory and impractical bathroom amenities:** The dual-outlet shower design was effectively useless. The regular handheld shower had extremely low water pressure and a weak stream, making it practically unusable. I had to rely solely on the rain shower. The shower area had severe water accumulation and poor drainage, with water constantly pooling on the floor. I had to use my own thick-soled shower slippers, as thin ones would be soaked, leading to a very poor experience. Although the room had a bathtub, there were no complementary bath salts, bubble bath, or other amenities. Everything had to be purchased extra, making the bare tub feel unluxurious and severely out of line with Marriott standards. 5. **Significantly reduced executive benefits, poor value for money:** Although executive benefits were included, the lounge offerings were very haphazard and perfunctory. There were only two or three types of ordinary cookies for dessert, lacking variety and sophistication. The daytime light meals consisted of just a few slices of toast and a small amount of sausage, practically no food at all. The overall standard of the executive lounge was far below that of comparable Marriotts, rendering the benefits almost nonexistent. 6. **Mediocre breakfast and dinner buffet, no highlights:** The breakfast noodle station mainly offered hot dry noodles, which were bland and tasteless without seasoning, requiring self-seasoning to be palatable. The overall meal offerings were standard fare with no local specialties or highlights. The executive evening buffet, priced at 99 yuan per person, was inexpensive but offered mediocre food quality. The crayfish was bland and lacked flavor; the unlimited scallops and oysters were not cleaned properly; and the signature foie gras was limited to one serving per person, which felt stingy. Overall, the value for money was only acceptable if you wanted 'to make do with eating in the hotel,' and I would definitely not recommend it for a dedicated meal."

"It's quite convenient, especially when arriving in Wuhan on a late-night flight. You can get some good rest before heading into the city in the morning. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from T3 International Airport indoors. The hotel is pretty quiet, likely catering more to foreign visitors. Overall, it's a very good choice. I'd consider staying here again if I get another chance to visit Wuhan. I also had a bowl of vegetarian dry noodles for 16 RMB, including sake, at the airport."

Service is the foundation of the hotel! Maybe our external environment is not very good, there is no elevator and you need to climb the 3rd floor, maybe our decoration is not the style you like, maybe because we are located in the most prosperous commercial street in Wuhan, the night market downstairs is open until the early morning, and our sound insulation is not very good! But what we can guarantee is that the guest rooms are clean and tidy, the sheets, quilts, bath towels, towels are changed for each guest, and the normal use of smart, projection and other guest room equipment! The most important thing is to make you feel at home! We provide free butler service, all kinds of items for you to use at home, and unlimited natural mineral water, ice water in summer, and warm water in winter. We serve every guest who stays in our hotel with our heart, and are determined to make every lovely guest leave the hotel happily. Thank you for taking the time to read this hotel introduction and have the opportunity to choose us. I hope we can meet in Wuhan and add a bit of warmth and convenience to your journey.

"Nice and affordable hotel in Wuhan, with very convenient location in the middle of a night market and walking distance to the main commercial street. The room is clean, complete with large projector tv and smart controls. There is literally a very lively night market selling food, clothes, accessories, which start at sunset and finish around midnight. This can be a plus point for those who want to discover very local night market, but can be noisy for those wanting to sleep early. Noise continues until 1am so I suggest bringing ear plugs. The entrance to the hotel unfortunately passes by the trash point of the next door bbq restaurant, so have to bear 5 seconds of smelliness everytime you go in and out of the hotel. The receptionist was very nice and suggested some good recommendations for food."

Hotel near Chu River and Han Street, East Lake Scenic Area,Wuhan
East Lake Hotel is located in Wuchang, the urban center of Wuhan, near the Chu River and Han Street. Due to its convenient location, plenty of tourist attractions are located around the hotel, including the Yellow Crane Tower, East Lake and the banks of the Yangtze River, all just 20 minutes away by car. Guests are also just a ten-minute drive away from the Wuchang Railway Station. This Wuhan hotel has been around for more than half a century, but was closed for renovations between 2006 and 2010.Diners can enjoy a meal at the health-focused Zheng Yuan Chinese Restaurant or try food at the Guobin Western Restaurant. The hotel also offers a Taiwanese restaurant and a Western-style bakery.Guests looking to stay active can work out in the hotel gym, challenge a friend to a game of tennis or table tennis as well as cool off in the indoor swimming pool.

"I came here specifically to visit Mao Zedong's former residence with my child. The Donghu Hotel, located within the East Lake Scenic Area, is a self-contained property. Upon arrival, staff inquire about your purpose before allowing vehicle entry, and there's a private road leading in. There's also a parking lot right at the hotel entrance, which made me feel quite secure. The service was attentive; after checking into the Nanshan B-Section Standard Room with a view that I booked, I received a complimentary fruit platter. The room itself was well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The hotel buildings each have their own unique charm, and the lush greenery makes it feel like a forest – a natural oxygen bar. From my room's balcony, I had a view of the greenway and the shimmering lake. It was raining moderately when we arrived, and I'd never seen the lake so turbulent, with waves crashing one after another. There's a dedicated shuttle bus that takes guests to the side entrance of the Hubei Provincial Museum, which is incredibly convenient as it's just a stone's throw away. After exploring the museum, I simply called the front desk, and they sent the shuttle to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. My only regret is that due to the rain, I couldn't take a walk on the greenway to enjoy the scenery; I only managed a brief glimpse. I'll definitely come back with my child next time to experience the unique landscape again."

AAnonymous UserOverall, I was satisfied. The hotel met all expectations, and its decor was quite stylish, offering a more distinctive design compared to other hotels in the same price range. The location is convenient for getting around; taxis are readily available. Within walking distance, you can easily reach Xian'anfang, Li Huangpi Road, and the Jiangtan (riverfront), making dining and strolling around very convenient. Breakfast was just okay, lacking any local specialties, which could be improved. Also, I strongly recommend upgrading the hair dryers in the rooms.

JJuujuuHuAlthough this hostel is clean, there's many issue although it is the price you pay for it. 1. Yes it was listed to have KTV nearby, but wasn't expect to hear it very loud like it was next door, yet it was down one level. Walls are super thin, so you can hear from the common room if people are singing. There was a group of aunties and uncles singing between 8-10pm. If planning to sleep before 10pm, make sure to wear earplugs otherwise wait till 10pm. 2. Key card having so much issues and it wasn't just me, but my roommates as well. Opening locker was a pain in the ass, literally tapping non stop yet had to get it reactivated, and going back to receptionist many times, only to be told: once u tap the keycard, push in then pull it opened, and it did. 3. Lack of aircon in room to adjust, it is fixed, so if it's too hot, will need to bear with it. Temperature is alright the longer you are in the room. 4. The mattress js as if it's like sleeping on those Chinese wood bed without the mattress. I love my bed firm, but mine felt like it had a plank than the mattress underneath it. Bed is super creaky so every single move made a sound, felt like it was just mine. The mattress is sitting on top of a wood plank on top of the bunk bed, which is interesting. At least it straightened my posture. 5. The toilets are like public toilets where you must remember to carry toilet paper with you otherwise there's none awaiting you in there. Lots of squats so really good for many people living. 6. For the shower rooms, make sure to close the curtain properly otherwise privacy is gone, door is just a curtain 3/4 full. Water pressure is great, lots of space to move around, both dry and wet area, lots of space to store stuff too. 7. Location is great, like really nice. Getting to the metro felt sketchy at first but it is close by 7min walk. Surrounded by Chinese sports brands, you have milk tea stores near by as well as food. Can see the Yellow Cane tower as well. Luckin coffee is opposite of the building. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again, but the price is actually good for what you get, just not the best but it does have everything you need that are basic level.

JJchen1This hotel is extremely convenient, being very close to the airport, which made our travel much easier. At the beginning of our stay there were a few issues and we had to change rooms twice, but the customer service was excellent throughout. The staff were patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful in resolving everything quickly. The amenities were a big plus the gym was well-equipped, and the free laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a very good buffet offering plenty of options. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the great service and facilities made this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.

EEthan Matthew HuntI came from Canada due to my business trip, this is absolutely A Hidden Gem That Outshines Even the Hilton Below! I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Wuhan Hanyang Beike Hotel—this place is a masterpiece of modern hospitality. If you’re looking for luxury without breaking the bank, look no further. Let’s start with the view: from my room, I had a breathtaking panorama of the Yangtze River, with a front-row seat to Wuhan’s cyberpunk-style skyline. The glowing bridges—including the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Yangsigang Bridge, and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge—light up the night like something out of a sci-fi movie. To top it off, you can even spot the historic Yellow Crane Tower, blending the ancient with the ultramodern in a way that’s visually stunning and emotionally moving. The interior design of the hotel is unbelievably sleek and luxurious—we’re talking five-star finishes, modern lighting, spotless wood flooring, elegant furniture, and a spa-like bathroom that feels straight out of a high-end design magazine. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and say, “Wow,” the moment you walk in. I’ve stayed at the Hilton, located just downstairs, and while it’s fine, Beike Hotel blows it out of the water in terms of value, design, and overall experience. You’re getting a top-tier, modern boutique stay at a fraction of the cost. The staff, especially the warm and professional Ms. Liu, were incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind—service was impeccable. If you’re a traveler who appreciates unique experiences, luxury on a budget, and a fusion of futuristic style with rich cultural heritage, this is THE hotel to book in Wuhan. I can’t recommend it enough. I will definitely return, and when I do, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else.

GGuest UserThe room has a fantastic view, especially at night. There's a mirror directly opposite the window, and when evening comes, it reflects the outdoor scenery beautifully. It's truly stunning. In the evening, the Yijing Corridor had a ball game playing, and the resident singer was not only beautiful but had an even more amazing voice. You could even request songs, which was a huge plus. The hotel's location is excellent. There's a Manner coffee shop on the first floor, and just down the street, you'll find Tea Color Yuese and several crayfish restaurants, all within about a kilometer. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. However, on the first morning, while I was still asleep, I was repeatedly woken up by housekeepers knocking on the door asking if I wanted cleaning. I've stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered something like that.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is quite good, making it convenient to get everywhere. The rooms are a bit small and the facilities aren't new. The price was acceptable during the Chinese New Year period, but the room's cleanliness really impacted our stay. There were spills that hadn't been wiped up, the trash hadn't been emptied, and the water glasses had mold spots. When we contacted the front desk, the staff said they were too busy because of Chinese New Year and could only address it the next day. The parking lot is very small, but the parking attendant was enthusiastic and had a good service attitude. The soundproofing was decent, and breakfast was just okay.

2205357****A perfect stay, highly recommended! Just checked out and had to leave a glowing review. This stay far exceeded my expectations; every aspect was satisfying. Service: The front desk staff were warm and professional. Check-in was quick, and they helped me with [directions, etc.], making me feel right at home. Room: The room was clean, tidy, and cozy. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom facilities were modern, with excellent water pressure and quick hot water. The soundproofing was great, so I had a very quiet night's rest. Five stars all around! From check-in to check-out, the entire process was smooth. I recommend this to all fellow travelers!
