"The apartment was spacious and very comfortable to stay in. It had 2 bathrooms, which was super convenient, but I really wish there was a bidet spray — it would make the stay perfect 😭 The TV didn’t work at all, though. I was impressed with the housekeeping service. They replaced and refilled everything every day. There’s also a minimart downstairs, which made everything very convenient. Ordering food delivery was easy because the building provided a local Chinese phone number for guests. The location was great, very close to MixC mall, and the sea was just across the area 🌊 However, there were people smoking inside the building and even around the elevator lobby, which made the atmosphere less pleasant. Also, on rainy days the fog was so heavy that the view completely disappeared. But the night view was absolutely stunning — the city lights looked amazing ✨"

When the weather's good, the unobstructed sea view from the hotel's high floors is absolutely breathtaking, like something out of a fairy tale. However, this time, butler Tim really surprised me. He proactively and promptly attended to my needs, helped me arrange a room change and late check-out, and gave me immediate feedback regarding the bathroom odor and cleaning schedule. Even during the busy peak season, he provided incredibly thoughtful and responsible butler service. The surrounding atmosphere is lively, especially in the evening, making it a fun place to spend time without needing to travel far. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of delicious choices, catering to different tastes. Every morning was a great start to the day. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Since my phone number isn't a Chinese number, I couldn't scan and unlock the shared electric bikes myself. The staff patiently helped us scan the QR code and assisted us every time we needed it, which made getting around much easier. Their kindness and willingness to help really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations, and we would happily stay here again on our next visit!"

"The hotel room was quite large; even two people would have been very comfortable. The girls who checked me in at reception were very, very friendly. I only used the hotel's airport shuttle service, which was fine, but I couldn't use the airport pickup service; they didn't respond on time. My Chinese isn't very good at calling the hotel directly and making requests. So I would recommend that they be more careful in that regard. (they replied after I had left😆) Overall, the cleanliness was very good. The only issue is that they don't seem to clean the glass wall in the bathroom very often; I hadn't even used it yet and it was already dirty. And just one recommendation: the tea they left in the room was delicious, and I learned that in Chinese culture they don't use sugar in tea. But I'm not Chinese, and I do need something sweet 😁😅😆 They could add a small cookie or something sweet for those of us who need something sweet."

"Stuck in Qingdao for two days due to Typhoon Bavi, moving from Orange Hotel (Zhanqiao) to Orange Crystal Hotel (Taidong) was a brilliant decision. First off, the room size was an upgrade, the hairdryer was better, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. Plus, it even has a small gym. It's within walking distance of the Beer Museum, and you'll find convenience stores, restaurants, bus stops, and a subway station all nearby. Highly recommended! 👍"

"The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently close to the subway for easy travel. It's just a ten-minute walk to MixC shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also a twenty-minute walk to May Fourth Square. However, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear conversations from the next room. The triple room is spacious, but the cleaning wasn't very thorough and could be improved. There's no iron or ironing board in the room. The hotel breakfast is mediocre with a limited variety of fruits. On the day of check-in, our room wasn't ready, so we had to wait for almost an hour, only getting our room key close to 3 PM."
