"The hotel is very close to the beach, within walking distance, which is great for an evening stroll. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and provided useful tips for getting around the area. They even offered non-slip slippers for the elderly guests. The breakfast restaurant is on the twelfth floor, with a nice terrace offering sea views. The breakfast selection was quite rich, and the mini wontons were particularly delicious. When ordering takeout, a robot delivers it directly to your room door, which is very convenient."

"The location is absolutely fantastic! It's super close to Qingdao Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk with luggage, which makes catching trains incredibly stress-free. It's also not far from Zhanqiao Pier, Zhongshan Road, and St. Michael's Cathedral, making it very convenient for exploring the old city attractions. The hotel itself has a simple and refreshing style, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The room layout is well-designed, the lighting is soft, and the facilities are well-maintained. The staff are warm and welcoming, and check-in was very efficient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so all your dining and shopping needs are covered. It's perfect for both tourists and short trips. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Qingdao!"

"When visiting Qingdao, my main concerns are often staying too far from attractions or paying too much for a sea view. This棧橋火車站海景酒店 (Zhanqiao Railway Station Seaview Hotel) perfectly hit all my requirements. Transportation is a breeze: after taking the high-speed train to Qingdao Station, it's just a 5-6 minute walk across the road to the lobby – incredibly convenient when traveling with parents and children. The sightseeing route is also well-planned: Zhanqiao Pier in the morning, then a stroll along the coastal line to Zhongshan Road for pork chop rice and bagged beer in the afternoon, and finally, back to the room at night to relax and watch the silhouettes of cargo ships. I particularly want to praise the sea view room itself: it's not a 'sideways glimpse of the sea,' but rather a direct view where the glass frames the horizon. On sunny days, the blue is almost unreal; on foggy days, it has a beautiful ink wash painting feel. The room is larger than it appears in the pictures, and the cleaning staff even wiped the dust from the window tracks. The German-style architecture of the building is also very appealing. A small service detail really impressed me – before check-in, the front desk called to ask for my arrival time and pre-cooled the room. When leaving, they even offered a bottle of Nongfu Spring water. The front desk lady also proactively helped with my luggage, provided tips to avoid tourist traps, and reminded me about the low tide time for clamming at Zhanqiao Pier. The value for money in the Zhanqiao area is genuinely good, suitable for couples and families alike. The breakfast is abundant, satisfying a Northern palate. Overall, there are no major flaws; for a sea view room in the core Zhanqiao area at this price point, it's a no-brainer – just book it."
Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao
"Facilities: Absolutely five-star hotel facilities, and the hardware is well-maintained. The front desk gave me a connecting room, which was very convenient for taking care of my elderly parents. Much appreciated. The swimming pool is definitely a highlight, with both hot and cold plunge pools in the changing rooms. Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff cleaned daily and replenished drinking water promptly. Environment: The lobby environment is excellent, elegant and grand, and prices are reasonable. Location: Situated on Hong Kong Middle Road, Qingdao's most bustling CBD. It's within walking distance to May Fourth Square, and a small door from the lobby leads directly to MixC Mall. Extremely convenient. Breakfast: A wide variety of options; my favorite was the smoked salmon. However, it gets quite crowded during peak hours, and the seating arrangements are a bit too cramped. Not enough space. Overall, my three-day stay was a great experience. It's the most cost-effective five-star hotel on Hong Kong Middle Road."
Qingdao Haitian Hotel
"Traveling with my child during the summer vacation, I deliberated for a long time between the St. Regis, MGM, and Haitang Hotel, and ultimately chose Haitang. It turns out I made the right choice. The hotel is very new, and apart from the slightly small rooms, I was quite satisfied with everything else, and it was very clean. The location is also excellent; the side sea view room initially felt a bit misleading, but every afternoon while lounging on the sofa, I had a full panoramic sea view. I'm not sure if it's due to the season or the hotel's overall good climate control, but the humidity felt just right, so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. The service was even more outstanding, from check-in to final departure, the entire experience was great, and they were very accommodating. The most important thing to highlight is that their breakfast was truly delicious; you could tell a lot of effort went into it, and the restaurant on the third floor was also very tasty. Plus, they offered complimentary afternoon tea and a sightseeing tour of 'Sea and Sky' (海上云天), so the value for money was actually quite good."

"Traveling with my child, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Qingdao, which is conveniently located in the city center with easy access to the subway and shopping malls. The room was well-soundproofed and fully equipped. The staff was responsive, and the breakfast buffet offered a good mix of Chinese and Western options. The gym facilities were excellent, making for a very stress-free stay. A special shout-out to Danny from the hotel for his warm and attentive service! He was quick to respond to requests and was always kind and courteous. The hotel environment is comfortable, and the five-star service truly lives up to its reputation. Danny made this trip even more enjoyable."

"The room wasn't particularly spacious, but the bed was comfortable, and the view was great. We were able to get a late checkout and use the executive lounge, where the service was quite efficient. The lobby bar felt a bit dated. Breakfast options weren't extensive, and the layout was a bit spread out. The location, however, was quite good."
Tsingtao Time Resort Hotel
"The room amenities were great, and laundry was convenient. The only downside was that the dryers were often in use, but luckily, the room had a dehumidifier. Hanging clothes in the bathroom with the dehumidifier running overnight worked wonders. My kids got several outfits dirty each day playing in the sand, and I was able to wash them all promptly. Breakfast was more Western-style and healthy. The adjacent music restaurant was fantastic; we ate dinner there four nights in a row, and both the Western and Chinese dishes were excellent. The children's toiletries and slippers were good quality, and the room came with pour-over coffee equipment and beans, plus a bed rail for the little one. You could really tell they paid attention to the details. The only slight drawback was the loud music program on Saturday night, with the speakers pointed directly at our room – it was too noisy. If you're staying over a weekend, definitely ask for an odd-numbered room to avoid the noise."

The location is convenient and the environment is quiet, plus the hygiene is excellent. It's perfect for family trips or extended stays. Overall, the quality is high, offering great value for money, and both the sea view and service are top-notch. It's an excellent choice for a seaside getaway in Qingdao, I truly recommend it! It's very close to the Olympic Sailing Center, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. The heated swimming pool is great; my kids spent a total of 3 hours playing there. If you come, be sure to bring your own swimsuits and swim caps."
