One night at 11 PM, the drain in my room was clogged, but after reporting it, staff arrived and fixed it in just 10 minutes – incredibly efficient! Additionally, for early risers, the hotel offers a pre-booked simple breakfast to go, which is a very thoughtful touch. During peak season, there were a lot of guests, so breakfast was a bit crowded, and refilling dishes was a little slow."

The hotel clearly puts a lot of effort into its brand culture; there's a story about the brand's origins on the bedside table, and reading it truly gives you a sense of their original vision, creating a wonderful ambiance. Early in my stay, there was a strange noise in my room. After contacting the front desk, they handled it incredibly efficiently, without much back-and-forth. They immediately arranged a room change, and the new room type was perfect. The soundproofing in the new room was excellent; it was quiet all night, and I couldn't hear any guests in the adjacent rooms, which made for a very restful sleep. I especially want to commend the self-service laundry room. It's managed by dedicated staff and fully equipped with disinfectant and antibacterial laundry detergent. I missed the pick-up time for my laundry, and the staff thoughtfully folded my clothes neatly and placed them in a special laundry bag. Such attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming. Throughout my stay, the service was exceptionally warm. Every staff member I encountered on the way would proactively greet guests politely and appropriately. It wasn't just standardized service; they truly went the extra mile with their thoughtful touches. The location is excellent, making travel convenient. For those who value details and service quality, this hotel is definitely worth choosing!"

"When visiting Qingdao, my main concerns are often staying too far from attractions or paying too much for a sea view. This棧橋火車站海景酒店 (Zhanqiao Railway Station Seaview Hotel) perfectly hit all my requirements. Transportation is a breeze: after taking the high-speed train to Qingdao Station, it's just a 5-6 minute walk across the road to the lobby – incredibly convenient when traveling with parents and children. The sightseeing route is also well-planned: Zhanqiao Pier in the morning, then a stroll along the coastal line to Zhongshan Road for pork chop rice and bagged beer in the afternoon, and finally, back to the room at night to relax and watch the silhouettes of cargo ships. I particularly want to praise the sea view room itself: it's not a 'sideways glimpse of the sea,' but rather a direct view where the glass frames the horizon. On sunny days, the blue is almost unreal; on foggy days, it has a beautiful ink wash painting feel. The room is larger than it appears in the pictures, and the cleaning staff even wiped the dust from the window tracks. The German-style architecture of the building is also very appealing. A small service detail really impressed me – before check-in, the front desk called to ask for my arrival time and pre-cooled the room. When leaving, they even offered a bottle of Nongfu Spring water. The front desk lady also proactively helped with my luggage, provided tips to avoid tourist traps, and reminded me about the low tide time for clamming at Zhanqiao Pier. The value for money in the Zhanqiao area is genuinely good, suitable for couples and families alike. The breakfast is abundant, satisfying a Northern palate. Overall, there are no major flaws; for a sea view room in the core Zhanqiao area at this price point, it's a no-brainer – just book it."

"We're not fans of crowded tourist spots, and our family was looking for a quieter place to visit. Staying here turned out to be a delightful surprise. During check-in, Molly understood our preferences and, instead of just recommending popular Instagrammable places, she suggested Signal Hill Park. From there, we got a fantastic view of the red roofs and green trees, and it wasn't crowded at all. She also gave us some useful tips for getting around by taxi. Our room was clean and bright, with plenty of outlets, which was super convenient for charging our cameras and phones. The breakfast selection was rich and balanced, with a good mix of meat and vegetables. The hotel's location is great for transportation; it's easy to get to various attractions by subway or taxi. The hotel environment is quiet, so after a day of sightseeing, we could fully relax. Molly was very friendly and patiently answered all our questions. It felt really reassuring and comfortable for our family trip."

"Lovely stay at HaiTian Hotel these three nights. I originally booked a Mountain View room but didn’t realise that it doesn’t have a bathtub. Ruby 小蒋 was super hospitable, she was prompt with helping me change my room to one with a bathtub. The room was amazing, with sea view and city view on both sides of the window. Air con was slightly cold so I had to turn it off and on during my awake time. Breakfast was good with the a huge selection of delicacies and a lovely sea view. The hotel has a salon which seems very clean and professional but I didn’t have time to try it. The pool was decent and the gym was spacious and well equipped. I highly recommend this hotel and would come again in the future."

The restaurant next to the hotel offers both Chinese and Western cuisine. My family preferred the Chinese options, so we ate there every day of our stay. It's truly the best choice for a family-friendly hotel."

The only minor drawback this time was that the soundproofing in our room wasn't great. Next time I visit Qingdao, I'll definitely stay here again!"
