The location is excellent — right along the coastline with beautiful sea views, and conveniently close to many of Qingdao’s main attractions. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options, and the staff were generally attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The lobby and public areas are spacious and well-decorated, giving the hotel a calm, welcoming atmosphere. While the style leans more towards traditional luxury than ultra-modern, it has a certain charm and a sense of stability that makes for a comfortable stay. I would recommend it for travelers who value location, cleanliness, and a relaxing environment."

"The location is most strategic, right in the middle of the walking street. Just walk downstairs and you can walk up to the Cathedral and down straight to the pier. The service of the staff is impecable. They are most helpful and friendly. Food at the buffet breakfast is good. The amenities in the room is great, toothbrush, shaver is provided. The room is small but it is comfortable. The shower is small though. I truly enjoyed my visit to Qingdao and i would love to visit again and i would surely stay in this hotel"

"I am writing as a traveller with a good experience in Yihai Garden hotel in Qingdao. I checked in first time with three nights for all visits in Qingdao and as planned left my two big luggages 29 inch at the hotel for storage. I went on in an adventurous mode to Yantai and Weihai for two nights. After I returned from Yantai, I met up with the receptionist Zheng Ao Ying （郑奥瑩） who helped me to arrange for re admission into the hotel. She did in a very timely and orderly manner and gave her the best she could. A big thank you to her and the hotel for such hospitality. I am writing to encourage more travellers to travel in a more adventurous manner to see more of the cities in Shandong. With the help of the people like in this hotel I am sure things will mostly work out at the end. 谢谢。"
