Barony Park Hotel Qingdao Airport
"After a very long walk from the airport, I finally reached the hotel. Luckily, this one was right at the entrance, so it was the closest. I requested a quiet room, but it didn't seem like the hotel paid much attention or made any special arrangements. The airplane noise came in waves, but thankfully, my tolerance is pretty good, and it was only for one night as a stopover, so I managed. It was a city view room, and I could see the airport pretty clearly in the morning. Overall, it was okay."
Haiyi International Apartment
"The hotel's location is very convenient, and the service is good too. You can also buy fresh produce and have it prepared at the hotel, and the seafood is absolutely delicious."
Seaside Adulina Scenic Apartment (Qingdao May Fourth Square)
"The room was clean and tidy, with a direct sea view from the window, perfect for a romantic getaway."
Qingdao Litian Hotel(May Fourth Square)
"Our first stop in Qingdao was Litian Hotel, and overall we were very satisfied. Just as the reviews said, it's a hotel with excellent value for money. The hotel is a quick taxi ride to all the scenic spots. We bought an 'Ai Qing You' tourist card, and the hotel's location was pretty much in the middle of all the attractions we wanted to visit, usually taking just over ten minutes to get there. When we arrived, we took Metro Line 3 from Qingdao Station, and the exit was right at the hotel. It feels like you could also take the subway to attractions along the line. There were three adults and one child in our group, including seniors and a child. We chose a family king room and added an extra bed. The king bed was 2.2 meters, which was plenty big. The bedding and hygiene in all areas were excellent. Each floor also had a washing machine and dryer, along with a microwave and induction cooker. Many older hotels might not update these public facilities, which shows the hotel's dedication and gives you a sense of peace of mind. It has an old-school elegance while still meeting new travel demands – a big thumbs up. The restaurant, though not large, had a quick turnover during breakfast. Tables were cleared very efficiently, so we rarely had to wait. For the 70-yuan price point, the variety was quite good, with many dishes. My only wish is that the shrimp wontons had thinner skins, and some of the sauced vegetables were a bit salty. We had dinner at the hotel three times, choosing both set meals and à la carte. The braised pork tendon with scallions and shrimp in the set meal were excellent. The à la carte sea bass and cold dishes were also quite tasty. The prices were very reasonable, usually around 60 yuan per person. The hotel staff were all very friendly, and service response was quick, making us feel right at home. We stayed four nights, and the daily room cleaning was meticulous and thoughtful. We received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in, and upon check-out, they even gave the child a large jar of cookies – full of thoughtful details. Thank you, Litian Hotel, for the wonderful experience you brought to our Qingdao trip. For first-time visitors to Qingdao like us, traveling with both seniors and children, who want a worry-free and affordable stay with convenient travel, I highly recommend this place!"
Holiday Inn QINGDAO CITY CENTRE by IHG
"The air conditioner was constantly dripping and parts of it even fell off. The facilities are very old, and the hygiene conditions are terrible. There were hairs on the bathroom linens, and the shower ceiling was discolored and patchy. The bed was uncomfortable and didn't match the hotel's price point. If it were priced around 400-500, it might be acceptable, but for the actual price, it's definitely not worth it. The hotel service was good, but the hygiene and facilities are a major concern."
Qingdao Huoshan Hostel
"Pretty good, I'm very satisfied. The air conditioning is nice and cool, and the bed is super comfortable for sleeping. Great value for money! 👍"
Qingting · Lyric Courtyard Hotel (Zhongshan Road Metro Station, Zhanqiao, Qingdao)
"The location is super convenient, right above the subway station. It's an old building, but it's been recently renovated on the inside. It's also really close to the train station. Definitely worth staying here, excellent value for money! **Amenities:** They have a new Panasonic hairdryer, which is a plus, but there was some hair on it from a previous guest. No mini-fridge, which isn't great if you want cold drinks in the summer. **Cleanliness:** Good, no weird smells in the room. **Service:** Very good! They even proactively told me about the history of the hotel building."
Yunduo Hotel (Taidong Pedestrian Street)
Atour Hotel Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport
"Strategy location which is close to airport. Free airport shuttle service. 100% suitable for business travelers."

Qingdao Haitian Hotel
"Lovely stay at HaiTian Hotel these three nights. I originally booked a Mountain View room but didn’t realise that it doesn’t have a bathtub. Ruby 小蒋 was super hospitable, she was prompt with helping me change my room to one with a bathtub. The room was amazing, with sea view and city view on both sides of the window. Air con was slightly cold so I had to turn it off and on during my awake time. Breakfast was good with the a huge selection of delicacies and a lovely sea view. The hotel has a salon which seems very clean and professional but I didn’t have time to try it. The pool was decent and the gym was spacious and well equipped. I highly recommend this hotel and would come again in the future."
Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square)
"Facilities: Very comprehensive, especially loved the self-service laundry. 👍 Hygiene: The room was clean and tidy. Environment: The location is very central, close to May Fourth Square and the bustling commercial area. You can go shopping and find food right outside. Service: The staff were enthusiastic and provided excellent service!"
Sheraton Qingdao Licang Hotel (North Station Branch)
"I'm a returning guest, and the hotel's service is consistently excellent! The hotel's location is still superb, with many restaurants nearby and the Lida Supermarket. It's also very close to Wanda Plaza and Licun Night Market. The hotel lobby is grandly decorated, with soothing music and vibrant floral arrangements, especially the beautiful Phalaenopsis orchids. The bellboys are all very enthusiastic and proactive in helping with luggage. The front desk service is even better; they remember returning guests' preferences and prepare rooms in advance. Check-in was efficient and professional. My room was upgraded to a high-floor lake view room, which was very spacious with beautiful views from the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was very quiet. The bedding was super comfortable. Breakfast was quite international with a rich variety, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a special section dedicated to Qingdao specialties. The hotel also has a steam room and sauna, as well as a large, clean, heated swimming pool. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance."
MGM Qingdao
"I chose MGM Qingdao for my trip, and I have to give a special shout-out to all the staff. When I arrived, the concierge proactively helped me with my heavy luggage and meticulously guided me to the parking area. The front desk efficiently handled my check-in and courteously asked about my needs. During my stay, I wanted to know more about the coastal walking routes nearby, so I spoke with Elly from Guest Relations. She was incredibly thoughtful, recommending less crowded scenic spots in detail. The room's hygiene was impeccable, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hotel's facilities are also comprehensive. From check-in at the front desk to luggage storage upon departure, the entire service process was meticulous and heartwarming. The staff's professionalism was excellent, making for a very comfortable stay."
Grand Regency Hotel
"The hotel room wasn't huge, but it had all the amenities we needed. The service, from the front desk to room service, was meticulous, and my wife and I had an excellent experience! Parking at the hotel was very convenient, and the location was superb, making it easy to get around. The breakfast was delicious!"
Crowne Plaza QINGDAO OCEAN SPRING RESORT by IHG
"Before going, I read many reviews, both good and bad, but you really only know how you feel once you've been there yourself. I thought it was great! I booked a sea-view room and really liked it. Although it's an older hotel and a bit dated overall, it didn't affect the experience. The beach wasn't crowded, which was very pleasant. I bought an extra hot spring ticket. The only unexpected thing was having to pay extra for my child's breakfast, which is the first time our family of four has encountered that at a hotel."
Qingdao Momer Cliff Ocean View Villas
"Finally checked out Mo Hai Cliff Seaview Villa, and the experience exceeded my expectations! The all-seaview room offered a panoramic view, allowing me to gaze at the azure sea right from my bed. The cliffside cafe had a stunning ambiance; sipping coffee while admiring the mountains and sea was incredibly delightful. The photographer I booked had great aesthetic sense and was excellent at capturing candid moments, so I didn't have to pose awkwardly to get gorgeous sea-view photos. Every corner of the guesthouse was photo-worthy, and it was wonderfully quiet and healing, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The butler was responsive and attentive to every detail, making the stay truly comfortable. This was the most unforgettable stop on my Qingdao trip, definitely worth a special visit!"
Le Méridien Qingdao
"Rocky at the concierge desk was incredibly helpful. He proactively assisted me with my luggage, efficiently arranged a taxi, and provided directions with great patience and enthusiasm. Thanks to his thoughtful and excellent service, my experience was significantly enhanced. I wanted to specifically commend him."
Qingdao Licang Jiahua Hotel
"The Qingdao Licang Jiahua Hotel is super close to the Qingdao International Horticultural Exposition, just a 6-minute drive away! The room facilities are good, and the blackout curtains are excellent, so you can still get a good night's sleep even after a late night out. The room was well-cleaned, and the service was proactive, offering recommendations for nearby attractions."
Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao
"Facilities: Absolutely five-star hotel facilities, and the hardware is well-maintained. The front desk gave me a connecting room, which was very convenient for taking care of my elderly parents. Much appreciated. The swimming pool is definitely a highlight, with both hot and cold plunge pools in the changing rooms. Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff cleaned daily and replenished drinking water promptly. Environment: The lobby environment is excellent, elegant and grand, and prices are reasonable. Location: Situated on Hong Kong Middle Road, Qingdao's most bustling CBD. It's within walking distance to May Fourth Square, and a small door from the lobby leads directly to MixC Mall. Extremely convenient. Breakfast: A wide variety of options; my favorite was the smoked salmon. However, it gets quite crowded during peak hours, and the seating arrangements are a bit too cramped. Not enough space. Overall, my three-day stay was a great experience. It's the most cost-effective five-star hotel on Hong Kong Middle Road."
Sea View Garden Hotel
"The service was incredibly thoughtful. When I arrived, my room wasn't ready, so they kindly gave me a drink voucher for the coffee shop. I had booked a north-facing room, but opening the window revealed a dirt pit, which was a bit of a letdown. Also, being an older hotel, the toilet and faucet drainage weren't great. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options to suit all tastes. The gym, however, is not in the same building as the rooms, so it's a bit of a walk. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the beach, just across the road, making it super convenient for beachcombing. They even thoughtfully provide tools for digging and foraging on the beach. Overall, it was still a good stay."
