Crystal Orange Qingdao Taidong Pedestrian Street

Stuck in Qingdao for two days due to Typhoon Bavi, moving from Orange Hotel (Zhanqiao) to Orange Crystal Hotel (Taidong) was a brilliant decision. First off, the room size was an upgrade, the hairdryer was better, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. Plus, it even has a small gym. It's within walking distance of the Beer Museum, and you'll find convenience stores, restaurants, bus stops, and a subway station all nearby. Highly recommended! 👍

First off, the breakfast service at this hotel was fantastic! They offer both Chinese and English style options. The ladies working in the restaurant were incredibly attentive; the breakfast looked great, tasted delicious, and was very nutritious. They even thoughtfully asked for my feedback afterwards. However, when I extended my stay yesterday, I encountered a slight issue because I hadn't booked through Trip.com. I think the morning and night shift front desk staff should communicate more often regarding guest check-ins. Thankfully, the lobby manager stepped in to resolve it. She was very patient and professional in handling the situation and even sent a fruit platter to my room in the evening. On my first day, the front desk lady who checked me in was also excellent; when there was an issue with the bedsheets, she immediately upgraded my room. The next day, the lobby manager even sent a box of toiletries as an apology – truly top-notch sincerity!

The hotel is relatively new, and the facilities are quite good. The staff are also very polite. It's close to the subway station, which is very convenient. Overall, I had a good experience and would consider staying here again next time.

Before coming to Qingdao, I spent a long time debating where to stay. Ultimately, considering I needed to take the high-speed train to Weihai, and the proximity to the Beer Museum, plus the fact that I'm a fan of Crystal hotels, I decisively booked the Orange Crystal Hotel on Taitung Pedestrian Street. The room window offered a glimpse of a corner of the Beer Museum. The hotel's back door leads across the street directly to the brewery. The Lijin Road subway station is about 100 meters downstairs, and it's just one stop to Taitung Station. For evenings when we went to Taitung Pedestrian Street, we could walk back to the hotel after eating, which took about 10 minutes. The hotel's location is excellent. You can reach many popular spots by subway, but we opted for taxis, which were very good value for money, with most fares under 20 RMB. Anyone visiting Qingdao can confidently book this hotel!

When I checked in, I casually mentioned wanting a room with a good view, and they upgraded me to an Executive King Room for free – what a pleasant surprise! During my stay, every staff member I encountered, from the front desk to the housekeeping ladies, was incredibly friendly. They resolved minor issues quickly and even followed up with a call, and the complimentary fruit platter was another nice touch. The day before checking out, I was too tired from a late night and wanted to rest a bit more the next day, so I asked the front desk if I could have a late checkout. They extended it until 2 PM, which was very considerate. I was also happy to receive a farewell gift when checking out. Overall, the service was exceptionally good and made me feel very comfortable. (I stayed at an Orange Crystal in Yangzhou not long ago, and compared to that, the service here was significantly better.)

Great location, very close to the subway station. The hotel environment is also quite good; it's a well-designed Orange Crystal. The breakfast is abundant.

The hotel was very clean and the environment was quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. It's close to the pedestrian street, so dining and shopping are super convenient, and getting around is easy. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

Had a fantastic experience! Not only did I get a free room upgrade, but the hotel staff's service was just right – attentive without being overbearing. It's just a short walk to the Beer Museum and Taidong Pedestrian Street, which is packed with amazing food options. Plus, the hotel isn't far from the Olympic Sailing Center, May Fourth Square, Third Bathing Beach, and MixC shopping mall.

This hotel is really new and great, and it's super close to the Tsingtao Beer Museum. They even have freshly tapped Tsingtao beer in the lobby, which is a unique touch! There's a lovely green garden downstairs, and tons of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient.
