GGuest UserTraveling to Shenzhen with my family, we stayed in the family room at Futian Huanggang Intercity Hotel, Shenzhen, and it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it for families with children.
The family room was incredibly spacious and well-designed, offering separate sleeping areas for both adults and children, ensuring everyone had their own space and privacy. Our whole family felt relaxed and comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, free from any strange odors, and the hygiene details were impeccable. The lighting was excellent, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of trains passing by at night, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The bedding featured high-end Sealy mattresses, which were both soft and supportive, and there was a choice of pillows, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable sleep for both adults and children. The smart home controls throughout the room were a hit with the kids – they loved using voice commands to turn lights on and off, open and close curtains, and adjust the air conditioning. It added so much fun and joy to our stay.
The bathroom was well-appointed with a separate shower and plenty of hot water with good pressure. After a day of sightseeing, a hot shower was just what we needed to wash away travel fatigue. The hotel even provided disposable bath bags, which was a nice touch for cleanliness and peace of mind. The quality toiletries and soft, skin-friendly bathrobes made the experience comparable to a high-end luxury hotel.
The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by Metro Line 7, making it super convenient for getting around and catching trains. The service was warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk was efficient, and any requests were promptly addressed. The staff were all polite and friendly.

A special shout-out to Guest Services Executive Reina. From initial room inquiries to check-in, the entire process was seamless. She was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly explained my member benefits and executive privileges. When I had to change my travel plans and adjust my stay duration, Reina patiently helped me review my booking and coordinate solutions. Her communication was gentle and appropriate, and her work was reliable and efficient. She always provided detailed answers to my questions. Her service was proactive, polished, and perfectly balanced – never overly formal but always genuinely thoughtful, significantly enhancing my stay's comfort. I commend Reina for her professional and high-quality service. This will definitely be my first choice for future business trips!

GGuest UserThe environment here is excellent. It's located in a high-end apartment complex, with a rooftop garden on the 4th floor where you can relax. Since it's newly built, the elevators and hallways are all very new. The rooms and bathrooms are apartment-standard, and it's quiet at night. The washing machine is free and has laundry detergent. There's a balcony right next door for drying clothes, which is very convenient. There's also a refrigerator on the first floor, a dedicated dining area, and a convenience store, Hongshan Shopping Mall, and subway station right outside. It's very convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping. I highly recommend this place.

GGuest UserI originally booked a standard room, but since it was my first time visiting, they kindly upgraded me to a larger one. The hotel room was quite smart, and the hotel itself was clean and hygienic. The service was very responsive to all requests, especially the facilities on the 14th floor – though small, they had everything. One side was the dining area with a nice view, and the other was a multi-functional area with self-service manicures 💅, an arcade, a fitness area, and an office area. Overall, it felt very cozy. The buffet breakfast didn't have many options, especially the fruit, which was just so-so. Overall, it was good, and my child wants to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and well-designed, and I received a complimentary upgrade. I connected with the butler via WeChat, and a robot delivered our takeout. The pool was 1.2 meters deep, which was great for kids. It's about a 500-meter walk to the beach, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Breakfast was just okay, but everything else was very satisfactory. Parking was free, but the gate didn't open when we tried to exit. I called the butler, and they sorted it out for us.

GGuest UserCouldn't believe a five-star hotel wouldn't even provide a shower cap. They have a big bathtub but no bath salts. On our second night, we came back at 4 pm and couldn't get the key card to work for the elevator. We went out and came back to find that a room attendant had used a master key to enter and place bath towels. Although we hadn't put up the 'do not disturb' sign, we also hadn't requested this service in advance. What if we had been asleep inside? That would have been an unauthorized entry.
The best parts were definitely the private beach and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The breakfast buffet also had a good variety.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

The Golden Key concierge team provided attentive service throughout my stay, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a lovely smile. I made a few casual suggestions during my stay, and the staff not only carefully noted them down and listened to my feedback, but also quickly provided an optimized solution, showing their practical and dedicated approach. The room was clean and dry, with comfortable furnishings, and any requests were handled promptly. Whether it was luggage storage or directions to nearby shopping areas, everything was handled efficiently. The entire service team was professional and discreet; they were never intrusive but always there to help when needed. As a business traveler, I felt completely at ease and comfortable. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Shenzhen, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
