"The lobby had an unpleasant, musty smell, like it had been damp and stuffy for a long time. Service, however, was quite good. We booked a family room, and they called beforehand to ask how many children we had, if they were boys or girls, and if we needed bed rails. Finding our room was like navigating a maze. The room itself was spacious, but the toilet in the bathroom was a 'fake' smart toilet. The hotel breakfast had very limited variety and the taste wasn't great. Remember to ask the front desk to register your car. Overall, aside from the breakfast, it was a decent stay."

"The hotel's exterior looks quite new, but the room design and construction are rather mediocre and a bit dated. Also, the standard twin rooms have an open-plan bathroom, so after showering, you're essentially drying off in the living area, which would be awkward even for couples. Plus, the standard twin rooms are all located near the elevators, offering little privacy. The renovation quality is generally poor and feels a bit rough around the edges, definitely not up to the standard of a new international brand hotel. The air quality in the room wasn't great; my throat felt swollen after the air conditioning had been on for a while, possibly indicating it hasn't been cleaned recently."

GGuest UserI’ve had this hotel saved for a while! First, the cons: 1. **Truly secluded**: This 'escape-the-world' hotel really lives up to its name, being nestled in the mountains. Getting there is quite a trek, and the mountain roads are bumpy! It might be inconvenient without a car. Plus, the recreational activities involve hiking up mountains! Not suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility issues (and indeed, I only saw young to middle-aged people here). 2. **Service could be better**: The overall service felt a bit lacking. Whether it was the front desk or other staff members, I encountered some unprofessionalism – the whole vibe felt quite casual. After booking, no one reached out beforehand with check-in details; I had to proactively seek them out. Also, some of the contact numbers provided didn't work. Many activities require reservations, and if you don't book in advance, you can't enjoy the service! 3. **Everything is rather compact**: The beach, the rooms, and all the facilities are quite small – it's designed for an intimate, less crowded experience. It's not ideal for extended stays; after one night, it gets boring as there aren't many activities (unless you’re specifically seeking 'seclusion'). Now for the pros: 1. **Excellent design and aesthetics**: Great for photos! 2. **Facilities are decent**. 3. **The biggest plus! The food is delicious and affordable**: It felt more like dining at a specialty restaurant than a hotel… Overall impression: Quite satisfied, took many, many photos! 👏🤣

Yet, it's also very convenient for getting to nearby commercial areas – taxis pick you up instantly. Even closer to the airport. Room Amenities: Fully equipped, which is expected for this price point. However, the user experience has many excellent details, such as the bedside power control being conveniently located on the side. Although there's a connecting ladder, you can transfer to the 34th floor directly from your room, which is even more convenient, giving guests more options than just going to the front desk. You can leave luggage directly with the staff at the front desk. Product details are the core competitiveness in today's market. Breakfast: The cheese and salad sections are very rich. For Chinese breakfast, there's a good variety of congee, noodles, and rice noodles, especially the 'cheong fun' (rice noodle rolls) which come in many flavors. Service: Polite and courteous, with very quick responses.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

The guest services team was very polite and quick to respond to any questions, offering good value for money, which made for a very reassuring stay. The hotel's location is also very convenient for transportation. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

GGuest UserI first fell in love with The Langham when I stayed there in Los Angeles, then I went to The Langham Guangzhou for my second visit, and now Shenzhen is my third. My biggest impression this time is how incredibly soundproof the hotel is! The room was spacious and fully functional with a clever design. I only took two photos, but they can't describe how much I loved it! They gave me a room right by the elevator, which I was worried about because I'm sensitive to noise. I wanted to ask the front desk to change rooms, but they were fully booked, so I had to just stick with it. However, I slept incredibly well! I could only occasionally hear a faint 'ding' from the elevator when I was right at my door, and there was no noise from people talking in the hallway. It was so quiet! So comfortable! I briefly experienced the lounge. It wasn't as good as the one in Guangzhou, but it was sufficient. There were a lot of foreigners there, haha! I'll definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserBefore my first stay, I was a bit hesitant after reading some reviews, but the actual experience was so wonderful that I decided to return to Shenzhen and stay here again. From the doorman to the check-in process, the professionalism and efficiency were top-notch, leaving a great first impression. My only minor gripes were the rather high deposit taken each night and having to follow up twice to get it refunded. The room design and facilities are excellent. I'm not sure why, but the new bath and body brand's lotion was very difficult to spread and frankly, not very good. Perhaps it was a more basic room type, as there wasn't a smart toilet. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the butler service was outstanding – incredibly professional and efficient in responding to and resolving issues. I absolutely loved the breakfast. There's no discounted front desk rate, it's 268 per person, but the quality is excellent. My only minor suggestion would be to find a way to improve the chairs in the restaurant; they are very heavy to move and create a loud scraping noise. I particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared seafood congee and their homemade soy sauce baguette. I'll definitely stay at The St. Regis again. While getting in and out of MixC isn't as convenient as the Grand Hyatt, the overall experience here was simply superior.

GGuest UserRight next to Happy Harbor, the room has a sea view and the surrounding scenery is great. It's very convenient with a mall nearby, and walking along the beach is really pleasant. There's a dinosaur museum close by – highly recommend it for families with kids! Most exhibits are local fossils, and you even get a small dinosaur toy for visiting. It's a nice touch. From Bao'an Station Exit C, walk straight for about twenty meters to the Binhai Sky Corridor, and it's a ten-minute walk to the hotel with beautiful scenery along the way!

Cross the pedestrian bridge and you're in Meilin, so it's very convenient for food. Subway: It's about 600-700 meters from Lianhua North Station (Line 4), a 5-6 minute walk. Hotel Environment: It's a bit older, so the facilities are a little dated. Service: The service was very good, and they responded quickly. When I checked into my room, I found the door lock was broken, and the hotel immediately upgraded my room. That was excellent!👍🏻 Overall, the value for money is pretty good, considering the price and the advantageous location.
