Overall, it's excellent and the best option in its price range. The room isn't large but has a lot of character and many thoughtful touches. You can really see their commitment to sustainability. They didn't even rush us to check out past noon, even though we hadn't arranged for a late check-out with the front desk beforehand. There were only two minor issues: 1. No bathrobes in the room. I called the front desk twice, and when the staff brought one, she said it didn't have a tie, even though there were clearly loops for one. It seemed like they were short on stock and could only find one without a tie. 2. No slippers provided for showering, so I had to go in barefoot. I considered calling the front desk, but it was getting late, and I didn't want to bother them. However, these two points are completely acceptable and didn't really bother me. My biggest concern when checking in was the front desk mentioning potential noise from city road construction, but it didn't affect my sleep at all.

This hotel is located in the heart of Guangming District, making it super convenient for getting around. It boasts a five-star, sleek, and high-end design, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views. The dinner buffet is fantastic, offering a wide array of dishes. The freshly sliced beef and mini hot pots are unlimited, and there's a great variety of Chinese and Western cuisine, including teppanyaki and steak. We were extremely satisfied with the food. The hotel gym is also excellent, well-equipped to meet the needs of fitness enthusiasts. The facilities are comprehensive, with plenty of gym equipment, a comfortable swimming pool, and a self-service laundry room, which is a real lifesaver. Nearby, you can visit the Guangming Equestrian Center, offering a mix of activity and relaxation – perfect for unwinding and de-stressing from work. It really sets the mood for a short getaway. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel, also highly suitable for business travelers. They even have shuttle buses to and from Shenzhen and Hong Kong airports.

A truly satisfying stay! The JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen is indeed a top-tier hotel. The lobby exudes a light luxury and grand atmosphere, and the public areas are spotlessly clean. The staff at check-in were very professional and explained everything meticulously. The room layout was well-designed, the furnishings were exquisite, and the cleanliness was meticulously maintained—even the corners were sparkling clean. The mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. During my leisure time, strolling around the hotel was very pleasant, offering a tranquil and comfortable environment. The guest relations team proactively checked on our experience, and any issues were addressed promptly. The hotel restaurants offered a wide variety of dishes with fresh ingredients. Overall, the experience was comfortable and relaxing, making it perfectly suitable for both short stays and longer trips. I genuinely recommend it to anyone traveling.

This time, I chose this hotel for a family trip, and the overall stay was excellent. Sahar, Molly, and Bella were incredibly friendly and patient. They gave us practical advice, considering we were a family traveling together, and were very responsive to our needs. Their service was attentive and thoughtful, and they were kind and polite. The hotel's location is very convenient, the room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. My family was very satisfied with their stay. The overall service experience was fantastic, five-star recommended, and I'll definitely choose this place again for future family trips!

Excellent, quiet “Gen-Z” resort with amazing views and seriously mouth-watering F&B. My parents have limited mobility and couldn’t manage the walk to the restaurant, so the staff kindly arranged room service and delivered a **whole steamed 东星斑** to our villa — essentially bringing the restaurant experience to us. Breakfast was also surprisingly generous, including **unlimited abalone** at the buffet. Service throughout was warm, energetic and extremely responsive. A big thank-you to the team for taking such good care of my family(!). I thoroughly enjoyed our second-floor room directly above the waves — falling asleep and waking up to the sound and view of the sea was wonderful. The only thing to be aware of is the resort layout. I would strongly recommend checking your room location with the staff before arrival, especially if anyone in your party has mobility issues. Depending on the room, reaching the restaurants may involve either a coastal walk or several flights of stairs. For able-bodied couples, the setting is very romantic and peaceful, and I’d say it is particularly well suited to couples travelling without young children. The resort is quite far in — our drive from Nanshan took around **2.5 hours with weekend traffic**. But honestly, if you are coming from Hong Kong, Shenzhen or elsewhere in Southern China, this place saves you an airplane journey, and the overall experience easily compares and in some respects beats many five-star resorts elsewhere in Asia.

My friend and I traveled from HK to Futian Mandarin Oriental to celebrate a birthday. I'd researched several hotels online beforehand and ultimately chose MO, a hotel I hadn't stayed at before. My main reasons were the hotel's reputation for quality and excellent service, as well as its convenient location for shopping, with a mall and many dining options right downstairs. From the moment we stepped out of the car and into the hotel, we could immediately tell it was different from other five-star establishments. The experience, from being greeted upon arrival, having our luggage promptly taken, being escorted to the 78th floor for check-in, and finally shown to our room, was incredibly smooth and warm. By the time we left, at least eight hotel staff members had interacted with us, and every single one was genuinely friendly and kind. This 100% positive interaction rate is something I've rarely encountered over the years. For me, the air conditioning's coolness and quietness, as well as absolute cleanliness and a modern feel, are paramount in a hotel room, and they scored full marks on all counts. (I learned that this hotel has only been open for four years, and I truly hope they can maintain this excellent standard, as it's crucial for guests like us). I'd like to thank the gentleman who checked us in – I've forgotten his name, but he was incredibly thoughtful and proactive in anticipating our needs, making arrangements for us to attend a concert on June 26th. I also want to thank the lovely Victor, who showed us to our room, gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel, and took photos for us. And a special thank you to Brian, the 'Chef Concierge' (Golden Key member), who satisfied our curiosity by explaining the origin and role of the Chinese Golden Key concierges. Coincidentally, a typhoon hit, and my original plan was to travel to areas around Shenzhen for the weekend. Due to the typhoon and high-speed rail cancellations, I had to change my plans and opted for a staycation in Shenzhen. I was drawn to THE LANGHAM's unique British charm, and after much deliberation, I chose this hotel. Although it's been open for a while, I was a bit worried the facilities might be outdated. However, comparing it to the most beautiful lounges in London, I impulsively booked an executive room. Upon arrival, a small hiccup delayed my check-in. Afterward, a thoughtful male staff member at the front desk noticed and guided us to the executive lounge on the 22nd floor to check in. There, Peter, who assisted us, was incredibly warm and demonstrated the professionalism expected of high-end hotel staff. He thoughtfully asked about our preferences and led us to a comfortable spot in the lounge. Throughout our time, the lounge staff — Emily, Via, Yulia, and Caron — also showcased what a 'most beautiful lounge' should be, with attentive service and impeccable attire. The variety of drinks and other offerings in the lounge was extensive; we basically didn't want to leave. Stepping into the room, a strong British ambiance immediately enveloped us, truly reflecting the brand's unique character. The room offered panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay through its 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing us to experience the city's vibrancy even from bed. The hotel breakfast was also rich and varied; I tried the beef noodles, which were excellent, and the desserts were a big plus. Thanks to the professional service and the brand's distinctive style, I felt the joy of a vacation without even leaving Shenzhen. THE LANGHAM is truly worth it!

The Grand Hyatt Shenzhen is perfect for business trips. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, allowing for undisturbed work and rest. The desk and chair height are ideal for long hours of work, and the bathroom is clean and tidy with a clear wet/dry separation. The entire room was dust-free and odorless. The service was professional and efficient; check-in and check-out processes were streamlined. The concierge was quick to respond to impromptu requests, and even thoughtfully provided directions for local commutes. My entire business trip was hassle-free, offering great value for money and an excellent experience.

It wasn't a standard, by-the-book service; instead, it felt like sincere and caring attention. The environment was quiet and comfortable, making for a superb experience. I genuinely recommend it and would definitely come back again.

Traveling with my family and kids, we stayed at the Westin Shenzhen Nanshan and had a wonderfully comfortable experience. The room was clean and tidy, the Heavenly Bed was incredibly comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a great view of Window of the World. The hotel has a kids' pool and provides special amenities for children, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, and check-in was efficient. The surrounding area is convenient for sightseeing and getting around, making it perfect for a family vacation. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
