The bedding was comfortable and helped me sleep soundly, and the freshly cooked noodles at breakfast were delicious. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. This hotel is definitely the benchmark for the Shekou Prince Bay area, a well-deserved five-star rating!"

GGuest UserFirst time visiting this area and I chose this hotel – absolutely no regrets! The overall decor is simple yet elegant, and the hallways are clean and tidy. The room is very spacious, the A/C is wonderfully cool, and hot water comes on instantly. The cleanliness is exceptionally thorough, even the corners are spotless. The staff are incredibly responsive, and Yuna's attitude was particularly excellent. Highly recommended to everyone!
They also offer airport transfer and direct bus service from Hong Kong right to the hotel entrance, which is super convenient. The mall and subway station are right next door. I'll be back in November. Thank you, Yuna!

This hotel is located on Dapeng Peninsula in eastern Shenzhen, about a 1-2 hour drive from the city center. However, the mountain roads are quite narrow, so extra caution is needed.

The hotel rooms have a very modern design, especially the architecture by the pool, which is truly stunning. Each room has a private balcony where you can enjoy distant mountain views and nearby water views. In the evening, you can also sit on the balcony and enjoy the sea breeze, which is incredibly relaxing.
【Breakfast & Dinner】
The hotel's breakfast is really rich and delicious. Dinner is also very affordable; a cup of Americano is only 6 RMB, and a bottle of Coke is just 2.8 RMB! The owner is truly conscientious!
【Private Beach】
The hotel also has a private beach where you can swim, sunbathe, or take a walk. The seawater by the beach is also very clear. If you don't want to go into the water, you can also relax on the loungers by the beach, soak up the sun, and enjoy some rare tranquility.

LLizhiyouwanwudazhouLet's talk about the F&B first. It's terrible, simply terrible. Whether it's the lobby lounge or the Chinese restaurant, it's just awful. I spent 3,000 yuan, got no service, no quality. The food was bad, and their attitude was 'eat it or leave it.' Very 'prestigious,' but this was just the beginning of the first night. For my birthday, there were no well wishes, the decorations were rudimentary, just four large characters saying 'Long Live' and that was it. Besides a small cake, nothing else. A hotel costing five or six thousand a night, with this kind of service attitude. The staff were arrogant. I've encountered guests who act like royalty, but this is the first time I've met waiters who act like royalty. They refused to clean, three different people told me they'd contact someone else to service my room. I just want to ask, is throwing out some trash such an indignity? It got to the point where I was grateful for anyone who acted normally. Oh my god, she actually deigned to serve me! So I *do* deserve service even if I'm paying? The minibar wasn't restocked the next day, no turndown service. Yes, everything a St. Regis should have, this one didn't. At this hotel, if you don't push them, their attitude is one of disregard. 'Come if you want, or don't,' that's their stance. I was very angry, and after I gave feedback, nothing changed. They only provided the 'normal' service they were supposed to. 'You country bumpkin, coming to Shenzhen, we're doing you a favor by serving you.' That's been my experience here. The butler service was impatient; if they didn't hear clearly, they'd question me in a very aggressive tone. 'Look, this guy's ordering drinks again.' Yes, your drinks are 128 yuan a glass, I must be bankrupting you. I've spent no less than 10,000 yuan here, and the room rate alone was 16,000 yuan. But in your eyes, I'm just a pauper. Your attitude disgusts me. Finally, I want to mention one particular staff member. She was the only one who seemed to realize she was in the service industry. I want to specifically praise her because, surprisingly, you actually have a human being working here. While other staff members acted like lords, she was a true server. What more can I say? You are the stereotypical Hong Kong. Don't tarnish the reputation of Hong Kongers.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

GGrandoWe spent two exceptionally pleasant and comfortable nights at your hotel. The room was spacious and offered an excellent stay. We would like to highly commend the housekeeping staff; the room was immaculately clean, and they were incredibly attentive—not only providing us with extra bottled water but also neatly organizing our charging cables. This level of service deserves high recognition. Furthermore, equipping the room with an air purifier was a very thoughtful detail. The hotel is very well-maintained, and our room featured an open, bright layout with a pleasant partial sea view.
Regarding breakfast, we had noted other guests' positive feedback prior to our arrival, and the spread truly lived up to its reputation. There was a wide variety of selections, and as a vegetarian, I highly appreciated the extensive range of vegetarian options available. However, a minor point for improvement would be the temperature of the congee and oatmeal, which were only lukewarm. Additionally, the restaurant seemed a bit understaffed, resulting in a slower turnaround for clearing tables, as several tables remained uncleaned after guests departed. This is an area that might benefit from operational adjustments. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our experience and will certainly choose to stay with you again in the future. WWenmenglAbsolutely fantastic! This is one of Marriott's top-tier brands, and the location is superb. You step out of the Grand Theatre subway station right into a skyscraper so tall you can't even fit it all in one wide-angle shot. The high-floor views are stunning; you can take in all of Shenzhen's hustle and bustle right from your room. From the lobby, you can see in all four directions. It's just one subway stop from Dongmen Old Street, or about a 10-15 minute walk. The Grand Theatre is right downstairs, and beyond that is Lychee Park, which is perfect for a run – lots of people out for an evening stroll. St. Regis... I wonder if the 'St' prefix means 'Saint' like in the name of a Western church?

This time, I booked a corner room with a large window, offering a much better view, which I could even enjoy from the bathtub. The executive lounge, as always, provided excellent service. Overall, it's still a fantastic hotel – the environment, breakfast, cleanliness, and service are among the best in Shenzhen. However, there's one minor issue I'd like to suggest for improvement. I had requested a room with a good view in my reservation notes, hoping to leave a great review. But upon check-in, the front desk didn't mention anything and simply assigned me a room on the lowest floor. I was very disappointed with the view, as it was completely blocked by a building in front. This was by far the worst view I've ever had at a Renaissance. After thinking it over, I couldn't stand it and requested a room change. Thankfully, the room change process went smoothly. I waited for over an hour, but eventually, I was moved to a high-floor room with a much better view. The front desk, understanding the situation, even offered for me to wait in the executive lounge while the high-floor room was being prepared. The subsequent handling was satisfactory, which is why I'm still giving a full five-star rating. I just hope this doesn't happen again next time. The picture shows the view from the high-floor room.

Subway: It's about 600-700 meters from Lianhua North Station (Line 4), a 5-6 minute walk.
Hotel Environment: It's a bit older, so the facilities are a little dated.
Service: The service was very good, and they responded quickly. When I checked into my room, I found the door lock was broken, and the hotel immediately upgraded my room. That was excellent!👍🏻
Overall, the value for money is pretty good, considering the price and the advantageous location.
