The soundproofing was excellent, and the hotel's proximity to the metro made commuting very convenient; you could step right out and explore the ancient city. The front desk staff were professional and efficient. Afternoon tea was a great way to recharge, and if you came back late after a meeting, you could pick up a heartwarming late-night snack. The smart facilities were top-notch, with Xiao Du (AI assistant) controlling the entire room by voice, and a robot delivering meals. Self-service laundry and drying, a gym, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options were all available for use.

The hotel environment is pretty good. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The entire room features smart voice control, so you can tell 'Xiao Du' to turn on/off the lights or adjust the air conditioning. The bed was just the right firmness, the room was quiet, and drinks were complimentary. The front desk staff were also very attentive, making check-in efficient. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'll choose this place again next time I'm in Nanshan!

Except for the small room size, everything else was great. Most of the staff were enthusiastic and polite, actively helping with luggage, and their uniforms were vibrant. The hotel is similar to those in Chongqing, with the lobby on the 6th floor and guest rooms on floors 3-5. The guest room area has access to an underground parking lot. Rooms have balconies facing the sea, the pool, and the yacht area. Each room is equipped with a dehumidifier, and there's a drying rack on the balcony. The hotel features a recreation center, a children's activity area, a paid mini-train (that runs along the coast), rubber boats, and a variety of sea activities that can be booked for a fee, such as sea fishing trips. Breakfast was also good, with a wide selection. Overall, I was satisfied and will definitely stay here again.

This stay was exceptionally good! The location is excellent, making travel very convenient. The room was newly renovated, and the staff were all very welcoming, creating a great living experience. I especially want to thank Erick Lu, Mandy Li, and Cindy Long from the Executive Lounge for their attentive hospitality. The concierge also provided excellent assistance. The hotel is well-staffed, so even with a high volume of guests, they managed to serve everyone well, and service responses were very prompt. Overall, the service was meticulous and thoughtful, and the environment was comfortable and relaxing. I had a truly pleasant stay and sincerely appreciate everyone's dedication. I look forward to my next visit!

Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

I highly recommend the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an. This established five-star hotel in the Futian CBD boasts an excellent location, just a short walk from Chegongmiao Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient for reaching the Convention and Exhibition Center and Futian Port. The guest rooms are spacious, meticulously clean throughout, and feature separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. The mattress is comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were polite and professional, responding to requests promptly. The breakfast offers a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, with consistent quality. The afternoon tea and happy hour at the executive lounge are high-quality, with a full selection of food and drinks. The hotel also has a 24-hour gym and an outdoor swimming pool, with facilities well-maintained. Although the hotel has been open for a while, it's very well-preserved, and the service consistently meets JW Marriott standards. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

I was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations. The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy. The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building. For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet. Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers. There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests. The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated. The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall. The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great. For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. I've stayed in many hotels in Shenzhen, and this one's overall experience perfectly meets the practical needs of a business traveler. The hotel's location is a huge advantage. The surrounding area is well-developed, so whether I'm meeting clients or traveling to and from transport hubs, I don't have to spend a lot of time on the road. For tight business schedules, this saves a lot on commuting time. After adding Joy on WeChat, many minor issues didn't require a special trip to the front desk. If I needed to confirm information or coordinate simple requests, I could handle it directly online, without having to take time out of a busy schedule to go to the lobby, saving me the hassle of running back and forth. The room maintenance is quite good; it's always clean and tidy each time I check in. For short business trips, it's just a temporary stop for rest, and a consistent room condition helps avoid many unexpected small problems, allowing me to relax peacefully after a long day. The entire check-in and check-out process was simple and smooth, with no unnecessary or complicated procedures.

The room facilities are excellent, the location is central, and the service is very attentive. We even received fresh fruit upon check-in. I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

During our trip to Hong Kong, we decided to hop over to Shenzhen for a 3-day getaway and stayed at Yunlu Serviced Apartments. The location was fantastic—close to Lo Wu Station and situated right above Dongmen Metro Station. Our room was spacious and equipped with a small kitchenette, including a washing machine and fridge-freezer (though there were no pots or utensils provided, so cooking wasn't an option). Breakfast was included and served on the 28th floor, offering incredible views of the city. We would definitely stay here again!
