Guest UserFirst time here, and the location is great, making it super convenient to get around. It looks like it was recently renovated because there's no weird smell and the environment is lovely. The facilities are all there, and the staff, especially the ladies, are incredibly friendly and helpful. They proactively solve problems.
I misplaced something, and they actively helped me look for it. At first, I thought it was gone for good, but they diligently searched and eventually found it. More than the outcome, their responsible and dedicated effort made me feel so happy and valued. Honestly, even though the surroundings can be a bit noisy, the room itself is really good, the soundproofing is decent, and it's very clean. I have to say again, the service is excellent! Fantastic! I'll definitely be back next time!

Guest UserI chose this five-star hotel for a short getaway in Shenzhen, and it did not disappoint! The lobby is elegantly luxurious, check-in was very efficient, and the concierge service was proactive and attentive.
The room was spacious with a fantastic city view. At night, overlooking the Futian skyline was truly atmospheric. The bedding features Marriott's signature 'cloud-like' comfort, so even a light sleeper like me had a peaceful night's rest. The outdoor pool had clean water, and the gym was well-equipped, perfect for some leisure and relaxation.
The breakfast buffet offered a mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The freshly-made rice noodle rolls and omelets tasted authentic, showing consistent quality in their food offerings. The staff were friendly and professional, handling any small issues efficiently. The location is excellent, making it convenient for exploring and dining. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shenzhen!

Guest UserAlthough there were a few minor hitches during my stay, the hotel staff handled everything efficiently and responsively, and the issues were resolved quickly and properly. I'd especially like to thank Jennifer for her patient assistance throughout, her gentle and considerate demeanor, and for proactively helping me coordinate various matters – she's very responsible. Overall, the positive aspects far outweighed any negatives; the hotel's emergency service and staff professionalism are commendable. I would choose this hotel again for my next trip, highly recommended!

HengchongzhizhuangdelidabaoThis hotel offers great value for money, and it's within walking distance to Haiya Colorful City. I was really impressed by the hotel's public areas – you can play games, work out, relax, read, do laundry, even get a manicure; they have everything! The breakfast buffet was also quite diverse. During breakfast, I saw a foreign guest ask a server for a baby fork, but the server didn't understand. It would be even better if they could improve their basic English training for handling international guests. Keep up the good work! I'll definitely be back for another stay.

Guest UserHere's a detailed review of my stay:
📍 **Location:**
One of the hotel's best features is its location. It's close to the metro station, and the public beach is about a 5-minute walk away. However, it's often crowded, not a private beach, and lacks any water sports or activities. It's also right next to the Outlet Village, accessible in just 2-3 minutes via a bridge, which is a great perk for shopping enthusiasts.
🏨 **Arrival and Reception:**
The hotel entrance is beautiful and modern, making a great first impression. Upon arrival, the reception area was busy, and unfortunately, we had to carry most of our luggage ourselves. Only one small bag was assisted, while we pushed the rest of our suitcases up to our rooms.
We had booked two rooms and were kindly upgraded to a pool-view room for one of them, while the other remained a mountain view as booked. To be honest, the pool-view room was smaller than the original room we had reserved.
🛏️ **Room:**
The room was modern, elegant, and high-tech, with everything looking brand new. The toilet (excuse the description) was smart, and the hotel provided a Dyson hairdryer and special, high-quality outdoor slippers.
Our room was approximately 50 square meters, making it spacious and comfortable, with two air conditioners providing excellent cooling throughout our stay. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful sleep.
Sound insulation within the room was excellent, and the integrated sound system with the projector/TV was fantastic with great quality. However, when walking through the corridors, you could hear TVs from some rooms.
🧹 **Cleanliness and Service:**
Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was on the last night after the typhoon. During room cleaning, they only cleaned the balcony and emptied the trash, while the room floor remained wet, the bed wasn't made, bathroom tissues weren't replaced, towels weren't changed, and basic amenities weren't refilled.
Overall, the service didn't feel like that of a five-star hotel. Most staff members were either busy on their phones or rushing around the restaurant unprofessionally. One surprising incident was when I went for breakfast about 45 minutes before closing, and when I asked for boiled eggs, I was told they weren't available, even though there was still plenty of time before the buffet ended.
On the other hand, I'd like to thank the receptionist who checked us in; he spoke fluent English and was very helpful. I also appreciate the staff member responsible for the WeChat service, who was very quick to respond to all our inquiries throughout our stay.
🍽️ **Breakfast:**
We stayed for 5 days, and the breakfast was the same every day with no notable variety. For us as Muslims, the options were very limited, mostly consisting of toast, eggs, and fruits. I hope they add more options suitable for international guests.
💡 **Facilities:**
* Curtains and lighting are electronically controlled.
* There's a robot for room service deliveries, which was a nice touch.
* Customer service via WeChat is very quick to respond.
* Upon check-in, we received free vouchers for Wish Tower entry, as well as mini-bar drinks.
* The pool operates from 2 PM to 10 PM. I think the opening time is too late, especially for those who want to swim in the morning.
* The pool is about 120 meters long, with a lifeguard present at all times.
* Pool towels are not provided at the pool area; you have to bring them from your room, which I found surprising for a five-star hotel.
* There's a small but functional gym.
* The pool view is more vibrant and appealing than the mountain view.
📶 **Wi-Fi:**
The internet speed was moderate, sufficient for daily use, but not the best.
🛗 **Elevators:**
There are only two elevators, but during our stay, the waiting time wasn't long.
🚿 **Bathroom:**
The toilet has a heated seat feature but lacks an electronic bidet, which I would have expected in a hotel of this caliber.
👕 **Services:**
There's no iron in the room. Instead, there's a laundry room with a steam iron available for use. Frankly, I was surprised that room ironing service wasn't available, especially for a five-star hotel.
🌪️ **During the Typhoon:**
Our stay coincided with a typhoon, and the winds were extremely strong, making the balcony door shake frighteningly. Credit to the hotel for securing the pool area and closing it to prevent items from flying around. However, guests were unfortunately not informed of any instructions or warnings; we discovered this ourselves. I would have appreciated a message or notice to reassure guests and explain safety procedures.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to UpperHills and Bijia Mountain Park. The room size is decent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. Breakfast variety is acceptable, with most essentials covered. Overall, the hotel service is quite good, but the breakfast restaurant service is very average. The biggest rip-off, though, is the hotel's spa. It's overpriced and the massage technique is terrible. I'd say it's the worst spa experience I've had at a five-star hotel! I felt like I was completely ripped off! A total waste of time, I hope everyone avoids it.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is very central and convenient, just a 3-5 minute walk directly to Futian High-Speed Rail Station, Coco Park shopping mall, and the 116F observation deck of Ping An Financial Center. This time, I took the high-speed train from Futian Station to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, which only took 14 minutes, making it incredibly quick and easy to get to Harbour City. The hotel environment is comfortable; the lobby and public areas are beautiful, and the room was clean and tidy, making for a very relaxing stay. I especially loved the fitness center and pool; the facilities are comprehensive and excellent. The front desk service was very warm and welcoming. They enthusiastically introduced the hotel and the surrounding area during check-in. The breakfast selection was also rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was great. The restaurant environment was also very comfortable. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay, and I will definitely choose Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

Fantastic location, just a few minutes' walk from the Convention & Exhibition Center Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient for business trips and exhibitions! The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and respond very quickly. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a simple yet upscale design. The Ailant mattress ensures a comfortable sleep, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views of the Futian CBD cityscape. The bathroom has stable water pressure and a complete set of amenities. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed rest. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby, and transportation is very convenient. Overall, the attention to detail is impressive, and it offers exceptional value for money. It's my top choice for business travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Futian. Highly recommended!

Guest UserTLDR: Good room, convenient location, with some areas for improvement in service
Overall, we had a comfortable stay. The apartment is in a very strategic and accessible location, with three metro stations within walking distance and Dongmen Old Street nearby. It was also convenient to get around by car — around 15 minutes to Luohu Station and about 25 minutes to Futian Station during our stay, although the travel time was affected by traffic. Overall, the location was definitely one of the highlights.
The room was spacious, generally clean and well-equipped. We particularly liked having a washing machine, fridge with a freezer compartment, proper dining area and sofa. The room amenities were practical and convenient. It would be a nice added touch if the bathroom could also have a bidet.
There were, however, some areas where the guest experience could be improved.
Front desk service could be more attentive and proactive. We were initially given one room card for two guests and had to request for an additional card. Unfortunately, the additional card was coded incorrectly, so we had to wait again while it was rectified. These were minor issues, but better attention to detail could make the check-in process smoother.
We also found that the staff were generally not very proactive in offering assistance. On several occasions, we had to ask specifically for help rather than being guided or assisted upfront. It may simply have been our experience during this stay, and we are not sure if this is common in Shenzhen or specific to the property, but a more welcoming and service-oriented approach would definitely improve the guest experience.
That said, we did encounter two staff members who were very helpful. They assisted us late at night when we needed help with returning some Taobao items, and we really appreciated their willingness to assist despite it being late. Their helpfulness stood out and showed that there are staff who are willing to go the extra mile for guests.
Noise from the doorbell was another concern. The doorbell was quite loud and could be heard from neighbouring rooms. On one morning at around 7:10am, someone repeatedly rang the doorbell outside our room for several minutes. As the sound was clearly audible from inside our room, it was quite disruptive and a little unsettling. It may be worth reviewing the doorbell volume and how repeated ringing is handled.
For ******* deliveries, food was usually left at the collection cabinet beside reception. We had to contact reception to have it sent up to the room via the robot. A more streamlined delivery process or clearer instructions for guests would be helpful.
The check-out and luggage storage process could also be improved. We had to wait for the staff member to finish another task before being attended to, and when we mentioned that we wanted to store our luggage, it was not immediately clear where we should leave it or what the procedure was. Similarly, when we later returned to collect our luggage, there was some waiting time before the luggage was retrieved. Providing clearer instructions and acknowledging the waiting time would make the process feel more organised.
Overall, the room, facilities and location were definitely the strong points of our stay. With some improvements in staff attentiveness, willingness to assist, communication and service responsiveness, the overall experience could be considerably better. We appreciated the two staff members who assisted us with our late-night Taobao returns, and hope the same level of helpfulness and attentiveness can be consistently extended to all guests.
