Guest UserSuper satisfied with the smart stay experience! The hygiene was impeccable—neat, clean, dry, and bright, with attention to every detail. The environment was cozy, tranquil, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The service was thoughtful and responsive, handling requests quickly. The smart home system throughout the room was sensitive and easy to use, allowing me to control all devices with a single touch.

TianxinchaorenMy stay at the Intercity Hotel was an absolute delight, a truly pleasant experience for both mind and body.
The location is superb; step out and you're right at Huanggang Village Station on Line 7, putting the entire city within easy reach. In the evenings, the vibrant local atmosphere and a plethora of late-night food options added a comforting touch to my trip. The room itself was well-designed with excellent natural light, and being on a high floor, the view of the city skyline was expansive and unobstructed.
Breakfast was a treat for the taste buds – alongside Western and Chinese dishes, there were steaming baskets of authentic Cantonese dim sum and freshly made 'cheong fun' (rice noodle rolls) that were incredibly satisfying. The toiletries provided were comprehensive, with a pleasant, subtle botanical scent. The laundry service was also thoughtful and meticulous, showing attention to detail.
But what truly impressed me most was the service. From the lobby to the guest rooms, every staff member greeted me with genuine smiles and gentle words, making every interaction feel warm and welcoming.
Definitely worth a revisit, and I look forward to coming back.

Guest UserThe front desk staff were professional and incredibly helpful. The room was clean, and the shower had a separate wet and dry area. The location is excellent – it's just a 10-15 minute taxi ride to MixC and Uniwalk, and only a 10-15 minute walk to the Water Buffalo Milk Queen. Plus, there are plenty of BBQ joints and dessert shops nearby. My mom and I stayed in a king-size room for five days and had a very satisfying experience! I'd definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Guest UserWe've stayed at hotels all the way from Sanya to Zhuhai, Macau, and Shenzhen, and this was our first time at a Ritz-Carlton property. Initially, I thought the service in Sanya was the best. Then we went to Macau, and it surpassed Sanya. But until we stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for our final stop, I can confidently say it was the best service we've experienced on this trip. From the moment we got out of the car until we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so there was some noise, but we weren't in the room during the day as we were out exploring, so it didn't bother us. Finally, I have to give a full five-star review to Ms. Sun Jingyu from housekeeping. She noticed we had laundry and thoughtfully brought us hangers and even laundry detergent. My friend also left her makeup bag in the room, and 'Candy' from the hotel specifically called to let us know. Thank you to all these wonderful people who made our rainy trip so much warmer. Shenzhen is truly a beautiful city, and I'll definitely be back next time. Looking forward to my next visit!

madridzmlChose this hotel for my trip to Shenzhen, and it exceeded my expectations! The hotel design is very stylish, and the lobby is a great spot for photos. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows with a wide view, and the soundproofing is excellent. There's a shopping mall within walking distance downstairs for food and shopping. The free self-service laundry room is a lifesaver for short trips, and the breakfast offers a great variety. Tibbers was also very enthusiastic with their service. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Anonymous UserCame here in July when the beach outside Dameisha was packed, but the hotel itself was very comfortable. We even got an upgraded, larger room, and the cleanliness was decent. However, it didn't quite match the hygiene standards of other international chain hotels. Some tiles and grassy areas around the outdoor pool were a bit broken, but the room itself was well-maintained. The only issue was that our room was on a very busy corridor leading to the pool, so if we didn't close the curtains, there was no privacy. Also, I'm not sure if it's to save water, but the water features by the pool were dry, so it wasn't as pretty as advertised.
The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, only breakfast, which was decent. There's also a 24-hour self-service laundry room and a gym. When I passed by the kitchen, I noticed many different room designs on the same floor – some were duplexes, and some were kid-friendly with slides. My 9-year-old son said he definitely wants to come back.
The shower and toilet areas had tinted glass, which was a bit awkward given I was traveling with my son.

Our family staycation was perfect! We did have to wait a bit for our room, but other than that, everything was great. Both the kids and adults had a fantastic time 🥳.
First, let's talk about the cleanliness. For a beachfront hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. InterContinental's operations and management truly shine. While the room showed a bit of age, the upkeep was excellent. The room was very dry; there was absolutely no hint of that typical coastal dampness as soon as we entered. This easily trumps those so-called high-end B&Bs in Huizhou that cost 2-3k.
The Kids' Club on the second floor clearly had a recent renovation, and the staff were attentive throughout. We booked a lemon tea making experience a day in advance, and the little one had so much fun they didn't want to leave.
Our package included a buffet dinner, which was surprisingly good. All alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were free-flow – a definite highlight for the adults! The salmon sashimi was very fresh, and the staff were generous, not limiting portions. The desserts and cakes were also excellent, 'not too sweet' which is a standard I appreciate, and better than many five-star hotel patisseries. I saw several tables of foreigners taking multiple plates of cake.
The only thing that could perhaps be improved is the swimming pool; it had quite a bit of sand in it. This might be hard to avoid, though, given it's right next to the beach. Overall, we were very satisfied. With the beautiful weather, my husband said I picked an excellent hotel this time, and we'll definitely bring our parents back next time.

circle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

Guest UserMy friend and I had a wonderful and very comfortable stay at Crowne Plaza. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. All the staff members were professional, friendly, and helpful.
A special thank you to Sakee at the front desk for the warm welcome, excellent service, and kind assistance. Sakee made our arrival and stay much easier and more enjoyable.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Lydia from the breakfast team for her kindness, attentiveness, and wonderful hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and of excellent quality. Since I usually find it difficult to adapt to the food during my travels in China, the breakfast at this hotel was a very pleasant surprise and made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.
My friend and I were very impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, quality of service, and attention to detail. We truly felt that the staff made a genuine effort to provide guests with a memorable experience.
A big thank you to the entire team, especially Sakee and Lydia, for the outstanding service and warm hospitality. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service
