We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Villa during our family trip, and it honestly turned out even better than what we expected. The villa itself was perfect for us — large bedrooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a spacious living area where the kids could relax after a long day out. It felt like having our own private home inside a resort. Service throughout our stay was consistently warm. The staff here are genuinely polite, always smiling, and never made us feel rushed even when it got busy. Whenever we needed something — extra towels, directions, or transport — they helped immediately. It made the stay feel easy and stress-free. The location is also fantastic. We were just minutes away from Grand World and all the attractions, yet the villa area remained quiet and peaceful. After sightseeing, coming back to the villa really felt like a retreat. The shuttle service around the property and Grand World was also incredibly convenient for the kids. Breakfast was enjoyable with enough variety, and we never had trouble finding something for everyone, including the kids. Facilities like the pool and gardens were well maintained, and we always felt the property was kept clean and safe. Overall, we had a really good experience staying here as a family. The villa gave us space, comfort, privacy, and the convenience of resort facilities — the best of both worlds. We left with great memories, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel. The staffs all are friendly and helpful. The pool is so fun especially for kids cause got playground. The kids club also is another thing. U can leave yr kids there. I stayed here for a week. The room was clean and spacious, air-conditioned, and there was a kitchen on the ground floor where you could cook or order from the menu. Great location, a 10-minute walk from a great beach, and plenty of cafes and shops nearby. The hostess was very kind and welcoming. Great place, highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe went as a 3 generational family and it was a perfect vacation for us! The villa was nicely maintained and decorated, and the food at the restaurant offered a good selection. We loved the pho bar and bahn mi in the morning, and being able to order a full barista menu at breakfast.
Some points of improvement:
- training for staff. Many of them didn’t speak English or wasn’t eager to help. Jenny at the restaurant was great, and housekeeping was on time and helpful.
- the beach was incredibly dirty. Filled with cigarette butts and general plastic littering. It was something that was overlooked and I didn’t feel comfortable going back with my children after the first day.
- some healthier choices for the kids table at breakfast would be appreciated. It was all sugar: donuts, marshmallows, chocolate eggs and muffins with chocolate sauce and jam.
- the kids club was pretty sad and even though we had two children with us (6 and 4 years old), we didn’t even visit it once. It just seemed like a completely overlooked part of the hotel, and didn’t even feel clean.
The new playground was lovely (when the sun went down) and it’s obvious that they are trying to continuously improve the resort (with the building of the new kid-friendly pool, and the landscaping).
However, we don’t think we will return unless there are more activities geared for children. We ended up staying mostly in our own pool and brought our own games to play in the villa.

GGuest UserPros: There is bellman service available to help us take care of our luggages when we arrived before check-in time, so we could go for lunch without our heavy baggages. Even though we rejected the enthusiastic bellman who offer to bring our luggages to our rooms, as we were not used to it, he continued to serve us graciously when we were lost (since the room numbers all starts with 1 followed by the storey). Located next to the sea with a shallow beach, Seashells is a prime location for beach swimming and kayaking. Safety signs were in placed and blow dryers were installed to prevent slipping at the ground floor. Restaurant serves delicious breakfast.
Cons: We didn't receive a welcome drink that was supposed to be part of the hotel's check-in experience. The check-in timing is 3pm, unlike most other hotels that offers early check-in, this hotel doesn't.
Generally, Seashells is a great stay and deserves its 5 stars rating for its location, cleanliness and facilities. Safety is a bonus point, given that lift access requires a room card. Although we did not have the opportunity to experience the sauna and steam bath, there were many options in the vicinity.

✈✈️keaidexiaolinlinerI was a bit hesitant before booking, seeing all the bad reviews online. But when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this sea-view villa was! It was very spacious for our group of two adults and three children. The hotel service was also great. Although there was no Chinese-speaking staff, the front desk's English accent wasn't too strong.
The only drawback was the lack of cutlery in the kitchen. We bought some snacks back and had nothing to eat them with!
There were quite a few Koreans and Westerners around. The iced coffee at breakfast was so good, I drank it for four days straight. It was truly excellent.
We booked the Sheraton villa next door for the following four days. Honestly, even though both hotels are operated by the same owner, the Peach Hotel is noticeably much better in terms of service and facilities, and it's also more conveniently located. The breakfast there was very similar to Peach, with many of the same dishes. But there were too many Indians, if you know what I mean...
I personally found the pool to be very clean. It was just a few steps from the villa to the beach. The best part was having trees by the pool, so it wasn't too sunny.

EellgyMy stay at Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc began as a 5‑star experience but unfortunately ended as a 3‑star due to one major incident. On the positive side, the resort offers excellent privacy and quiet, with a large balcony that was perfect for relaxation. The pool and beach were both beautiful and well‑maintained, and the signature chocolate afternoon tea was a delightful highlight. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, ensuring something for everyone. I also want to praise the team at Waverly Lounge, Thúy, Châu, Jasmine, Duy, Cessi, Ixis, and Thái Duy, for their outstanding service. They served us a delicious cheesecake, refreshing mango bingsu, and the signature chocolate afternoon tea, all presented with warmth and professionalism. Their attentiveness truly stood out and added a special touch to the stay.
Unfortunately, my lunch at Aura Beach Club was ruined when a large group of local people from NIK entered, surrounded my table, and began drinking, smoking, playing, and taking photos and videos that included me. This seriously disrupted my peaceful meal, and the hotel staff did not intervene. If they knew such a group was coming, they should have informed me so I could choose to dine at The Islander instead.
Other issues included room cleaning that needs improvement: trash wasn’t cleared and amenities were missing. The fridge took a long time to cool items, and its glass door with a blue light that couldn’t be turned off disturbed my sleep.
Overall, while the resort has many strengths, the lack of management during my lunch and room maintenance issues prevented this from being the relaxing 5‑star stay it could have been.

We stayed at this hotel as a family. We rented two rooms. The hotel is new. No more than two years after the opening. The description of the hotel and rooms fully corresponds to the website. I must say right away that the hotel can be rated five out of five, everything else is not the fault of the hotel and its service. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. It is not surprising that suddenly reconstruction and equipment for a new tourist facility (hotel, shop, restaurant, etc.) can begin in neighboring buildings, but we must pay tribute to the fact that the silence regime is still observed. This is Saturday and Sunday, a complete ban, repairs are possible only from 8:00 to 11:00 from 13:00 to 17:00. HL Melody in the neighboring block is completing reconstruction for its own apartments, that is, it is expanding its offer. It is said that everything will be finished by March 2026. But I repeat, it's everywhere on the island and on Khem in particular. If you think that hotels such as La Grotta, All Sand, Paralia, ANN and others of this class of hotels will be better, then you are mistaken. Construction and reconstruction are going on everywhere.
Unlike these hotels, the location of HL is much better, far from the noise of the crowd of vacationers, the noise of passing cars and bikes. Khem Beach is a 10-minute slow walk away. The windows of rooms 101, 201, 301, and so on overlook the rainforest. At night, we turned off the air conditioner and slept with the windows open in complete silence. In the morning, we were only bothered by the roosters of the neighboring village and the forest birds. Tips for nearby restaurants - Chinese Fu Lu Kang (excellent work by a professional chef, instant service, full Chinese menu, except for Peking duck, we recommend absolutely everything). Grill Station is a decent menu when you want to switch from Vietnamese cuisine. Com Nha Vietnamese Cuisine is the latest restaurant on the way to the beach. Very affordable prices and excellent food quality. Better than on the beach - Draft Beer Bai Khem. We used the last one when we were at the beach all day. I recommend all the listed restaurants. KingKong has the best currency exchange, while Khem has a 1% worse exchange rate. If you skip the transport to KingKong, then the course is the same. The general advice on Khem's vacation location is if finances allow, then Premier Residence, New Wolrd, JW Marriott. That is, the territories that were closed and completed for reconstruction with half board. The latter is important because Vietnamese cuisine is sparse and monotonous. At the same time, you are guaranteed that you do not have large-scale repairs with the demolition of floors behind your wall. We recommend the Shop-center and farm of sea and river pearls - Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm. You can even book a transfer from the hotel if you really intend to buy something.
HL Melody service: very good. The Ngoan concierge is a very polite and helpful employee. Our respect.
Rooms: new and clean. Cleaning was carried out every day. Towels are changed every day. The linen is all snow-white and dry. Please note that there is an error in the description of one of the rooms. There is only one kitchen for self-catering and breakfast on the ground floor. In the lobby there is a stove, refrigerator, dishes, professional coffee machine, water, drinks, Two bicycles in free use.
Internet - WIFI is fast without freezes.
There's an elevator in the hotel, but you can't hear it at all. In general, the sound insulation is good.
We recommend this hotel. The price is fair and affordable, and the service corresponds to the hotel class.
I repeat that the problems of reconstruction are a problem of Phu Quoc in any new location of tourist clusters - Marina, SunSetTown, Khem, and etc.

BBob Walker MaA really great hotel! They offer a free shuttle service to the airport, which is only a 9-15 minute taxi ride away. The facilities are quite new, and the swimming pool is massive with dining options on both sides, so you can eat right after your swim. The landscaping is beautiful, and you can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel. The service is top-notch; we truly felt at home. We stayed for three nights with our child and it was very comfortable. During the day, we visited the Big World and the zoo in the north. On our third day, we went back home from the hotel, and the journey was smooth sailing all the way. KING KONG MART is also very close by from here.

We stayed at this villa as a family.
We liked the villa very much, we rate it 10/10. The house's design is thoughtful. The rooms are well thought out and well equipped. The bathrooms are very nice. The landscaping with tropical trees and flowers is great. Bougainvillea is great. The night lighting of the villa is very impressive. Every three days there is a complete cleaning and replacement of all towels. The linen is new, dry and spotlessly white. There is a washing machine. It helped a lot with rinsing beach clothes, T-shirts, and beach towels. Everything was dry in the morning. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, but I would advise the manager to change one of the pans, add 8 earthenware cups instead of plastic ones and 10 pieces of small teaspoons and add 8 large plates for the main course. In this case, there will be nothing to complain about. Our extended family was comfortable staying in this villa. Everything is completely consistent with the description. The location is in a quiet location in the complex of the same Sun Tropical Village villas. Security with a barrier around the perimeter, video cameras and more. Everything is great, but take into account one very important point. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. And not all the villas in this complex are ready for operation. At the moment, only 30% are involved. The rest are being put into operation very quickly. With us, one of the neighboring villas was fully equipped by about 40 workers, from concrete to complete furniture and landscaping in 12 days. As mentioned by other reviewers there is a lot of potential but...
The beach and the tranquility are definitely a plus. The beach is nothing extraordinary but it is ideal if you just want to relax and enjoy ”farniente”. However there long chairs are far from comfortable. Plain hard and heavy wood (or good imitation) with nothing on top to soften the contact ;-)
There are a couple of ”kayaks” and 2 ”surf” boards to use for free.
What I missed most in the hotel was facing caring and welcoming employees. There was no hello, no good morning (except at the restaurant for breakfast and even there not always) or good day. Mostly no eye contact. With very very few exceptions the staff was distant, not welcoming and, well, not helping really. John the manager does his job professionally but I missed a deeper contact. Chinh in charge of the egg station (very good omelets) and pho was great and fun and helpful. So was Thienh (?) in the kitchen cooking wonderful plates with fish for me every night. A bright smile. A desire to please guests. Genuinely. I loved that ... and of course the food he prepared. Tâm in the restaurant was also very professional and helpful. These guys helped me feel better at the resort. Hospitality throughout Vietnam is absolutely great so my experience ”chez Carole” surprised me quite a bit. Overall the resort feels old and just maintained to survive. Dull in my opinion but, agreed, this is very personal. Also it is obviously in a remote place. It is some 2 or 3 Km walk/drive to the closest village therefore renting a motorbike or using Grab (or just asking the hotel for taxi) can be something to consider. Btw the closest Vinbus (free electric buses throughout the island, running every 15 minutes or so) stop is roughly 4 Km from the resort.
I booked one of the cheapest rooms. Spacious with a desk, a good sized fridge, a locker and an efficient air conditioning system. Weird enough the fridge would only work with the key in the key holder. So taking the key with you would shut down power (electricity) for all devices, including the fridge. Not ideal to keep anything cool in the fridge when leaving for the day...
The breakfast was nothing exceptional I found, especially for guests suffering from food ”incompatibilities” (in my case ”sugary” items because of diabetes due to surgery). For ”normal” people the spread was quite good with a large sweet section (breads, cakes, fruits).
Unless you really want it quiet, secluded, next to a beach and with an affinity for more ”traditional” housing architecture resp. feeling with an interesting pricing, you may want to also consider other options.
