New World Phu Quoc Resort

Mediocre overall. The beach was quite beautiful. My least favorite experience was the airport shuttle. I asked the front desk and they told me I needed to book a day in advance. After pressing them whether they could take me to the airport, they finally called someone to check. They confirmed they had a spot for me and told me to wait at the entrance. So I went to the entrance and asked a staff member if this was where I should wait. They pulled out a translator and asked, 'Do you need me to book a taxi for you?' I was speechless. The staff didn't even know where the shuttle bus pickup was. Unbelievable! Then I asked an older gentleman in a vest who looked like he handled luggage. He was very practical; he asked for my room number, which I got wrong, but the number of people was correct. He said he needed to confirm with the front desk and it would take 5 minutes. But I couldn't wait, the car was due to leave. I saw the shuttle and just got on. There was hardly anyone on it, just a Korean family. I was so speechless. I thought the pool was somewhat fun. You couldn't see the sunset as the location was wrong. A bowl of vermicelli and a drink cost 100 RMB, which is quite expensive. There were small bugs in the courtyard. Mangos would fall from the trees. Those were the only surprises.

The hotel's beach, pool, and water park are all great, and the breakfast is fantastic. There's also a shuttle bus to Sunset Town. However, the housekeeping is quite subpar; they consistently forget to provide fresh towels, and they never bother to clean the leaves out of the villa's private pool.

Our stay at the three-bedroom garden pool villa at New World Phu Quoc Resort was absolutely perfect and exceeded all expectations! The villa itself was incredibly spacious with a well-thought-out layout. All three bedrooms had their own en-suite bathrooms, making it ideal for families traveling with children. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Opening the French windows revealed a private pool and a beautifully manicured garden, creating a serene and lush atmosphere. The service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. From the helpful reminders before check-in to the detailed care provided by our butler during our stay, every little detail made us feel warmly welcomed. The resort facilities were comprehensive, offering everything from a kids' club and beach activities to specialty restaurants. There was something for everyone, whether adults looking to relax or children wanting to play. The location is also superb, boasting a private, tranquil beach, far from the hustle and bustle. It’s an excellent choice for a slow-paced vacation. I highly recommend it to all families planning a trip to Phu Quoc; it will undoubtedly be an unforgettable holiday experience!

Booked a two-bedroom villa but was given a three-bedroom, though we weren't allowed to use the extra room. The hygiene was quite poor. Good for families with seniors as all rooms are bungalows, making it easy to get around. The beach and pool are excellent. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit small.

Facilities: Roughly a 4-star equivalent in China. Cleanliness: Pretty good. Service: Mostly very friendly. Environment: Decent. The food was very mediocre, and there wasn't much to eat around the hotel either, maybe... Complimentary airport shuttle with a fixed schedule: There's a dedicated shuttle service.

The room's cleanliness was average, and there was a bad smell from the toilet. However, the environment and service were decent, and the in-house consumption at the hotel was reasonably priced. It's suitable for families with children or group travel, otherwise, there might be better options out there.
