I accidentally booked the wrong room and didn’t realize it didn’t come with a washing machine. After I contacted the hotel, the staff were very considerate and kindly arranged a room with a washing machine for me. I really appreciate their flexibility and thoughtful service—it made my stay much more comfortable and worry-free!

The room was clean and tidy, but a bit cramped, with just enough space to squeeze our luggage into the hallway. The restaurant lounge on the first floor was lovely, with plenty of spacious seating. They offered a great selection of teas, including various tea bags, along with Americano, latte, and cappuccino. The best part was the complimentary hot matcha and hot cocoa, which were wonderfully warming on a winter day.

It is very convenient to go to Kawasaki Daishi, Yokohama Chinatown and Sakuragicho. There are no problems with living functions and food in the surrounding area, and the accommodation price is favorable!

The room was clean and thoroughly tidied, making for a comfortable stay. Although the room only has a shower, there's a public bath available within the hotel. They also provide loungewear, which helps reduce luggage for business trips. Additionally, there's a free coffee machine in the lobby. While it's not a full-service experience, it offers everything you need for a business stay. It's within walking distance of the nearest Keikyu Kamata Station, but it is a bit of a trek.
Close to Haneda Airport! It takes 8 minutes at the earliest. Opened on March 19, 2021.
GGuest User2025.12.09
Very clean, like new. The room was spacious 17sq meters with a lot of space in the bathroom/shower-tub.
Location is a short walking distance to railway, shops and restaurants, yet the hotel is away from the noises.
I would recommend this hotel if visiting Kamata Japan.
3 minutes walk from Keikyu Kamata Station, 8 minutes walk from JR Kamata Station, about 20 minutes from Haneda Airport! All-you-can-drink freshly ground coffee and tea! All-you-can-read 1000 manga volumes. A comfortable time spent in the Haneda/Kamata area, the gateway to the sky. A base for your journey in Japan!

The location is fantastic! It's a 5-minute walk along the shopping street from the west exit of Keikyu Kamata Station, and you can reach Haneda Airport within 6-10 minutes by train.
The hotel is brand new, opening for Christmas 2025, and everything is sparkling. There are 90 rooms in total, and the front desk staff speak fluent English. I was lucky enough to get a corner single room, which was just the right size. Pajamas are provided, and you can also use the hotel's public bath.

I chose this place for my own travel, and it was very comfortable for a girl to stay here! I recommend it to you if you want to travel by yourself~
It is very close to Kamata Station, and it takes only 5 minutes to walk; Kamata Station is very prosperous, like a small Shinjuku, with many delicious foods and good places to visit. There are two shopping malls in the subway station, and there are not as many people as Shinjuku and Shibuya. The experience is surprisingly good!
The room is bigger than the one I stayed in Shinjuku, and the 28-inch suitcase can be opened completely. The bathroom bathtub is unexpectedly not small for one person to soak in, and there is also a smart toilet~
The bed in the room is made every day (but it seems to be cleaned once every 4 days, and I stayed there for a shorter time). Starting at 10:00 in the morning, they will knock on the door, but I went out after 10:00 for several days and it was cleaned~

The hotel is very close to the airport. It's about a 15-minute ride on the Keikyu Line from Shinagawa, and then a 3-minute walk from the station. A crucial tip: for the morning shuttle, you absolutely need to be at the stop on the right side of the exit at least 10 minutes early. If you show up right on time or just a minute or two beforehand, you'll definitely miss it!

It's about a 10-minute walk from Kamata Station, and since I checked in late at night, it was dark and I was a little worried when I walked there from the station.
The room was very clean, and since it was a room-only stay, I had a comfortable stay.
There was a few sounds, probably from doors opening and closing from the floor above, but other than that it was noiseless and I had a comfortable stay.
I was grateful that breakfast was included free of charge (🥐, 🥚, 🍊 juice 🍹, etc.).
I'd like to stay again if I have the opportunity!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 3-4 minute walk from Keikyu Kamata Station, and the price is reasonable. It's incredibly convenient for catching a flight from Haneda Airport the next day. The room even has a microwave, perfect for heating up a bento box. The room style is typical of traditional Japanese hotels, so it's a bit small, but it's great for a solo traveler.

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic. You can reach the Shinjuku Station New South Exit in just a few minutes from the second floor. The rooms on the higher floors offer great views, perfect for seeing the city lights twinkling at night. Plus, there's an Alexa smart assistant in the room that you can connect to via Bluetooth.
ZZhongguangguangHonestly, aside from the price, this hotel has no flaws. It has its own natural hot spring, free to use after 3 PM as long as you follow the communal bathing rules. After a thorough rinse, you can enjoy a relaxing soak. From 5 PM onwards, there's even complimentary alcohol served on the first floor.
Every day, you can choose free pajamas and pillows, with various softness and firmness options available. There's an ice machine on each floor, where you can also get iced water.
Fresh and clean bath towels and other linens are provided daily.
The service is incredibly attentive and meticulous. Every time you leave, someone at the front desk wishes you a safe journey. When checking out, someone at the door will open it, bow, and wish you a safe trip.
Downstairs, there's a ramen shop open until 4 AM, so even if you miss dinner sometimes, you're in the central Ginza area, with countless restaurants open until the early hours just a few steps away.
The K S Higashi-Ginza Station is right at the doorstep. Across the street is the Higashi-Ginza Line of the Hibiya Line, and just one more street over is the Ginza Station of the Ginza Line, making transportation extremely convenient.
JJohn Zhu ≧◔◡◔≦Thank MIYU
During my trip to Japan, I stayed at this hotel. The front desk staff, MIYU (an intern), left a very deep impression on me.
I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time, and my English is not very good. However, MIYU could already understand what I wanted to say before I finished my sentence. This shows that she truly understands the needs of customers and is very empathetic. She is also very familiar with all aspects of the hotel’s operations and answered my questions patiently.
Her attitude and work performance are truly commendable, and she made me feel very welcomed. I am very grateful for her help.
≧◔◡◔≦

MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob).
Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn.
They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park.
However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around.
2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.
GGuest UserSubway access nearby is quite convenient. At approximately 15.6 sqm, the room felt noticeably more spacious compared to the typical 10 sqm rooms often found in other business hotels nearby. The hotel seemed to attract a lot of international guests. A coin-operated laundry facility is available on the 13th floor (300 JPY for a wash, 100 JPY for drying), though it tends to get quite busy in the evenings. There's a small gym on the third floor, which I considered a nice bonus. Breakfast was decent, and the restaurant also serves lunch. My only minor complaint is that, despite being a non-smoking room, I could faintly detect a smoky smell on the bath towels and pillows.
SSunshinaGreat location, great service !
We had an early check in at 1pm and we are so glad with this service, we off load all our luggage right away and explored the heart of shinjuku.
This area is safe and convenient for night city explorer, the roof top bar offers great view for us to enjoy our drinks.
Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.
WWeiHooI have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.
GGuest UserNice experience!Overall I recommend it for solo travellers. The location is central and it is close to metro stations.
Also, the bedsheets are changed everyday, you get clean pyjama and towels everyday.
One thing that was annoying is the size of the lockes, it is very small and little bit inconvenient with the card sistem.
Also keep in mind that you have to be out of the hotel during the certain hours due to cleaning.
BBep SumangIt was a nice experience staying at Hotel Centurion Ueno. The location is very convenient, with train stations nearby and a convenience store just across the lot. There are also several restaurants in the area, as well as easy access to Ueno Park, Ueno Zoo, and the Ameyoko street market. The room is small but can accommodate two average-built persons. Although the hotel was under renovation at the time, overall it was still an awesome stay, and I give it a 👍👍.
GGuest UserThe stay was enjoyable. The person that cleaned the rooms was really friendly and helped us always out. Washing machine was perfect for us. The only complain I have is that under the bed it was really dirty.
