We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was on high-level. The front desk service was excellent, friendly and attentive. The room was nice, light and clean, very comfortable bed, had we best sleep ever. Breakfasts were varied and delicious. The hotel well located, nearby metro station. I absolutely recommend this hotel for tourists and business travelers as well.

The room is very comfortable, the service is very good, the room is warmly decorated, clean and tidy, the bed is moderately soft and hard, and I slept very well at night. The facilities are also complete, the air conditioning and hot water are very good, the Wi-Fi speed is fast, and the office is not stuck at all. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful, the check-in is fast, and they also recommend places to eat nearby. The breakfast is rich in variety, both Chinese and Western, which starts a full day. Next time I come here, I will definitely stay here again

Excellent place to stay at! The building is beyond words, beautiful inside and outside. From the lobby to the rooms to any other public space, the hotel is stunning. The rooms are also very convenient, clean and pretty. The sound proofing is excellent, during our stay I wasn't disturbed once by other guests. Last but not least the entire hotel smell amazing! The staff are also wonderful . I do not know enough Chinese to order food or ask for help but the staff were beyond patienent and helpful with us and thus we had no issue communicating even despite the language barrier. Breakfast offered a wide variety of foods, everyone could find something to their liking. The lunch options available at the lobby were also good. The location is a bit inconvenient if you wish to explore the inner city of shanghai but otherwise it was quite and charming. The pool area is a bit small compared to what I'm used to but everything else was so good it didn't really bother me.

Attended an event in Zhangjiang and found this hotel nearby. It's a new hotel, and I unexpectedly stumbled upon a gem! The lobby design is very stylish, and the room is super comfortable, totally my design aesthetic. Plus, for a new hotel, there was surprisingly no unpleasant smell, which is quite impressive! I was also pleasantly surprised by the sunken communal area in the lobby. I'd definitely consider staying here again for future trips to Disneyland, as it's very convenient if you're driving, and the hotel has a spacious underground parking garage.

Across from the hotel, there are more restaurants, but a bakery, a supermarket, and a Decathlon store. 🛋️The room was spacious and well-laid out, located at a corner, with ample space for 4 large suitcases, a small coffee table, and a work area. ::)There are laundry and drying facilities on the 4th floor (discovered this late in the trip). ::)Breakfast was included for 4 people. The variety of food was impressive (Xiao Long Bao, Chinese noodles with a made-to-order soup station, Western/Eastern breakfast options) and the menu changed daily. 🚐 For the return trip to the airport, a car was booked through Trip.com, which was about the same price as Didi and took approximately 30 minutes.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and both the room and public areas felt well maintained. It provided a very comfortable environment to relax after a busy workday. The location was another strong advantage. It was convenient for business travel, with easy access to transportation and the surrounding commercial districts. This made it simple to move between meetings and return to the hotel without any hassle. Service quality was consistently impressive. The staff were friendly, efficient, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any small requests were handled quickly. Their warm attitude made the stay feel very welcoming. The hotel’s facilities were also satisfying. The room was quiet and comfortable, suitable for both resting and handling work tasks. The overall setup supports a smooth and productive business trip experience. In summary, Evergreen Laurel Hotel Shanghai delivered a comfortable and reliable stay with great service and an excellent location. It is a solid choice for business travelers, and I would be happy to stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

It’s just unfortunate that I can’t have my Meituan food delivery sent by the hotel staff directly to my room. This was inconvenient but I understand the food and hygiene aspects that they uphold. Generally, a pleasant stay with best location. The bund view is just too awesome!

I’ve been visiting The Peninsula for a decade, and it’s a magnificent hotel. The location is brilliant, the indoor pool is one of the best in the world, the spa team is phenomenal. Yet on this recent visit, the service, while quite good, wasn’t the sort of impeccable, seamless joy one hopes for: the early staffing for breakfast was limited, without a dedicated host to welcome and seat guests; I realize it was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend, but a twenty minute wait just to be able to order room service is a bit much; over half of the deserts on the menu were unavailable. The room is wonderfully comfortable as always, fantastic housekeeping and amenities—I do hope they can get back to the very high bar they’ve set for themselves across all of their hotels. Plus truly stunning views if you’re in a river view room.

Our stay in this hotel was excellent. It surpassed our expectations on every level. The rooms were big, clean and the beds were comfortable. We booked the hotel with the breakfast included and we loved it all three of including our 7 year old daughter. In other hotels in Shanghai we did not like the breakfast but this really was amazing. They served at breakfast a variety of food such as croissants in different flavours, in the moment made sushi, cakes, sausages, a variety of chinese food and lots more. We were not let down at all. The service in the hotel was great as well, they called is a taxi when needed and used the shuttle service to the airport. I would definitely stay here again.
