GGuest UserDue to a flight delay, I arrived quite late. Check-in at the front desk went smoothly enough, but the room I was assigned was directly opposite the elevator. What's more, there seemed to be a club or KTV upstairs, with people singing until around 3 AM, so the soundproofing wasn't great. Given how late it was, I didn't complain to the front desk at the time.
Adding to that, the hotel is located near a radio station, and there was activity outside starting around 7 AM. Coupled with children shouting loudly in the hallway, my overall sleep experience was definitely not good.
However, what really changed my mind was how they handled it the next day. After I explained the situation from the first night to the front desk, the staff immediately apologized and promptly upgraded me to a room on the other side of the hotel. The quietness and overall experience on the second night were significantly improved. Every staff member was proactive and professional, showing that the hotel has high standards for training and management.
For me, problems aren't scary; what matters is whether they can be addressed promptly and seriously. Jinshang Hotel achieved this. Although the first night had its drawbacks, their subsequent handling and attitude are commendable.
Suggestion: For those sensitive to noise, I recommend requesting a room away from the elevator side or closer to the inner part of the hotel when checking in.
