Ibis Hotel (Beijing Tiananmen Square Branch)

I enjoyed the convenience of staying at the Ibis Hotel, as it’s centrally located and within walking distance of many shops and attractions. However, the location does come with a few drawbacks. One inconvenience is that cars cannot always drive directly to the hotel, especially when there are road closures, which may not be communicated in advance. This can make arriving with luggage or arranging transport a little challenging. The room itself was generally clean and comfortable, although we were disappointed to find a dead cockroach in the room on our second day after returning from a long day of sightseeing. Because the hotel is situated right in the heart of the shopping area, it can also get quite noisy, particularly in the evenings. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer a quieter environment, you may want to consider staying in a different area. Overall, the hotel is a practical choice for travellers who value a central location and don’t mind some of the trade-offs that come with being in the middle of a busy tourist district.

I had a great stay at Ibis Hotel Tiananmen Square during my trip. The location is very convenient—just a short walk from Qianmen Station and situated right inside Qianmen Street, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The room was clean, and housekeeping did a good job of collecting garbage daily and replenishing essentials like water, coffee, and tea. What I liked most was the free laundry facility at the lobby, which was very helpful during my stay. Overall, it’s a comfortable and practical choice, especially for travelers looking for convenience and value.

Small and cosy room. location is very good. Nearby mrt and just right inside Dashilan Pedestrian street. Didi is not able to come in but not an issue as the picking point is very near to the hotel. Free laundry and robot will send your food and parcels to room.
