"We had a wonderful stay overall. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and the staff truly made our experience special. Every employee we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit. The only downside was that the room adjacent to ours was quite noisy, and the disturbance continued until past 1:00 a.m., making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It would be great if the hotel could enforce quiet hours more consistently to ensure all guests can rest comfortably. Despite this, we appreciated the excellent service and hospitality, and we would consider staying here again."

"I did not expect it classy yet the staff is friendly and respectful. My room is a standard premium double bed and the area is quiet spacious. The bathroom is clean and stocked with amenities. I enjoyed the pool and it doesn't have a strong chlorine smell which i really dislike. Lobby is awesome it looks like guest are really welcome. This hotel will definitely be on my list."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Savoy Hotel Manila. The staff were warm, courteous, and accommodating throughout our visit. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel’s convenient location made our trip even more enjoyable. The only minor issue we encountered was regarding our request for a complimentary birthday cake for my mother. While the request had been made in advance, it appears that it was not properly endorsed to the morning shift on our checkout day, so it was unfortunately missed. Despite this, the overall experience was excellent, and the quality of service more than made up for this small oversight. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable. We look forward to staying with you again in the future."

"The location is definitely one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. It’s just a few steps away when you get off Runway Manila toward Newport, making it extremely convenient—especially for travelers. There’s a Lawson, Starbucks, and several restaurants right around the corner, and Newport Mall is only about a 400-meter walk away. Security is also reassuring, as all luggage is scanned upon entry, which gives an added sense of safety. However, the stay itself had several drawbacks. The breakfast spread is quite limited and not particularly tasty. It also gets crowded very early—by 7 AM, seats are already hard to find, and you may need to wait. We stayed on a weekday, so it’s likely even worse on weekends. The room was underwhelming. We were assigned a standard room on the 4th floor, quite far from the elevator, which was inconvenient. While the beds and pillows were soft and comfortable, the overall cleanliness felt lacking. There was only one bathrobe and one glass provided, and the amenities were very basic. The bathroom was especially disappointing—it was dark, felt unclean, and had visible mildew on the curtains. The curtains were also too short, causing water to spill into other areas of the bathroom. It almost seemed like the dim lighting was intentional to hide these issues. Overall, the hotel is acceptable if you just need a place to rest after a long flight or if you have an early departure. But for comfort and overall quality, there’s definitely room for improvement."

"Been booking Eurotel everytime since its fronting Rob Manila. The bed is not soft and the beddings are quite old and are yellow-stained already. Also, one problem is the bedding (bedsheet) keeps coming off from the mattress which is a hassle. Hallway sometimes smell of cigarette"

"We stayed overnight for the Manila Marathon because the location is good. It’s our first time staying in Lime. Checking in is fast, staff were efficient. But they have a very limited parking space. The room is not quite clean. The carpet is dirty, the bathroom glass is also a bit dirty with molds and some hair strands sticking on the glass and walls of the shower area. The toilet kinda smelled a bit of a pee. It doesn’t smell like it was cleaned with disinfectants. The bed llines have stains. I don’t know if it was even replaced with a new one because it doesn’t smell clean too. The food is good, reasonably priced. The pool is small, with limited space for people to stay and lounge but the view is great. if we’re going for a staycation, we’d rather stay in other hotels."

"As always, the staff are accommodating and courteous, from the front desk, security, and restaurant servers, even the OJTs (I think?) wearing white uniforms during breakfast. Everyone was nice, attentive, and welcoming. I always come back to St. Giles because of its location and the homey feeling it has compared to other hotels in Poblacion. I’ve stayed at different hotels around the area whenever I want a quick staycation to relax and swim during my days off, but this has always been my go-to hotel. This was actually my first stay this year, and I noticed that a lot has changed. I’m not sure if it’s due to government regulations, but there are no toothbrushes provided in the room anymore. There was also only one bath towel in the room even though there were two of us checked in. The water in the hallway is empty in the morning when we want to make coffee in the room. I hope the housekeeping team will be more attentive with these things. What disappointed me the most was the breakfast selection. Breakfast used to be one of my favorite parts of staying here, but now the selection feels quite limited and sad. There’s no bacon or even danggit anymore, which are usually breakfast staples. Most of the choices were heavy meals. Plus points for the roti, though. Overall, the stay was still okay, but I think I might not come back in the meantime. I hope next time i'll experience the same homey and warm feeling from you."

"This is my third time staying in this hotel during the one month duration of my holiday. "All was perfect but the Aircon is not working that much, more like a fan mode, àt first it was working but in the evening it became not much. I also advice to have a pest control there's mosquitoes. All in all are perfect. Worth the price."

Built in 1912, The Manila Hotel exudes old-world grandeur and luxury with its European-style architecture, spacious lobby, arched doorways, massive chandeliers, and wooden window frames. Interestingly, General MacArthur's suite, from the time he lost to General Peng during the Korean War, is preserved on the fifth floor – history certainly has a way of repeating itself... The breakfast selection is quite extensive.

Beautiful and large comfortable rooms with a view, Shower pressure was great. Drinking water dispenser at lift landing provides instant hot and cold water. Rooftop dining and kitchen area was adequate and clean. Gym was sufficient for a casual workout on your travels. Nearby Robinsons mall is huge and provides for your dining and grocery needs. Now the location… unfortunately Malate smells like piss. It’s just how the area is. All breatheable air has moved to BGC and Makati. My first day I walked along Taft Ave, the main thoroughfare where the LRT tracks run along, it was unbearable. I suggest if you’re walking to Intramuros or the National museums, turn left coming out of the building and walk down Adriatico or Roxas. It’s less putrid near the bay. Avoid Taft at all cost. The entire team at Lyf I’d encountered, front desk, concierge housekeeping and dining, were all super helpful and smiling always. Bravo, team!

Staying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila. The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.

Located on Ongpin Street, very near to all the popular Chinatown f&b oultlets and opposite to the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Saint Lorenzo Ruiz (Binondo Church) so you wake up to the sounds of Church Bells. The Hotel is quite dated but clean, would have been a great hotel during those days. Staff are friendly and approachable. Just a heads up; they require a deposit per night. If you have a credit card you can pre-auth. Since I stayed for 1 night, I put 2000 piso cash for deposit. A family who checked in before me had 2 rooms for 5nights, had to put deposit of 2x5x2000piso=20,000piso (325usd).

Overall: 4/5 Location: 4.5/5 Very convenient. I stayed here for a 2-day ISO training held in one of their convention rooms, so it was super practical. It’s also right beside Starbucks, which was my go-to for coffee. Value: 4/5 Reasonable for a short business stay, but parking has an extra fee. Room: 3/5 The hotel feels old and nostalgic — classic elevators and hallways. Bathroom was clean, but the room had a slightly musky smell. Walls seem thin since I could hear a neighboring room’s phone and music. Cleanliness: 5/5 Bathroom was neat and well-maintained. Service: 5/5 Staff were friendly and accommodating. Facilities: 5/5 Convention rooms are functional and convenient for seminars and trainings. The packaged food during the training was also good and complete, from breakfast snacks to lunch and merienda. Final Take: Good option for business stays and trainings. Not the most modern, but convenient and comfortable enough for short trips.

Stayed at Hotel H2O with a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old. Its main advantage is the location inside the park, providing direct access to attractions and making it easy to return to the room for naps and breaks. Pros * Excellent location inside the park with easy access to attractions. * Convenient for families with young children who need rest breaks. * Staff quickly resolved a minor issue with a broken bidet upon arrival. * Bed size is king as advertised. Cons * Cleanliness was adequate but not exceptional. * No room service available. * Restaurants are available on the ground floor and via GrabFood delivery, but in-room dining would be more convenient. * The hotel’s restaurant feels disconnected from the overall hotel experience. Recommendation Hotel H2O is a good choice if your main goal is visiting the  attractions, especially with young children. If you do not plan to spend time in the area, other hotels may offer better value.

Location is good , just few minutes walk to the key site seeing location. I spent one night only, the next day can start to move around the city inside the walls. If you don’t want to walk , simply hop on the cycle or rent a bamboo bike 😉

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and the relaxing ambiance throughout the property. The location was also perfect—conveniently close to key attractions and public transport. Housekeeping was prompt and attentive, ensuring our stay was stress-free.
