Staying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila. The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.

The location is good. The staffs are nice. The place is clean as well. However, I wish they’s spray the room with some kind of air freshener as well. The room smelled like a person’s sweat when you open the door. Good thing I brought a perfume with me to hang in.

Thank you again for this stay. We always choose Tropicana, and once again, we were completely satisfied with everything: the staff's service, the facilities (especially the pool), and the delicious breakfast.

My stay at Lido de Paris Hotel in Manila was a mix of convenience and areas that could use improvement. So, i came to manila alone. Hoping to have a good time. Spent 28 days in this hotel and explored the surronunding areas. By the end of the trip i met my babae and we where having a good time. Long story short... the hotel was well worth the money, as the view was great and my girl got pregnant. So, its a lucky room i guess too. You pay for all the amenaties. That was one down point but other than that it was fine and i had good nights/late night fun.. come and try it for yourself.

The room is overall cozy and clean. Aircon is new, the bed is cozy very comfortable. The bathroom is clean with hot shower. But no water heater in the room you still need to request. I am disappointed a bit since I was assigned at the 5th floor and I have requested the front staff to transfer me in the lower floor and she assured me if there will be available she will transfer me since I will be extending a couple of days. But when the third day comes, she mentioned no more available rooms. It is so upsetting since I am expecting what she promised when I see couple of guests already checking out.

I booked a fan room and checked in at 2 PM. The staff asked if I wanted to pay extra to upgrade to an air-conditioned room. Only after they showed me the rooms did I understand why. The fan rooms face west and get blasted by the afternoon sun, while the air-conditioned rooms are situated where they don't get direct sunlight. This comparison pretty much forces you to pay for the upgrade, as the fan simply can't compete with that intense heat. It feels like this is their business strategy, a veiled way to charge more, especially since other places offer AC rooms at this price point.

The 2 bed bunk room was good, perfect for solo traveler. Amenities is fine, except there's no washing machine. Again for second time around, we got a problem with the tap card that you will use to exit and enter the premises, they gave us the tap card on the last night of our stay, which is supposed to be given at the time you're checking in.
