"About a 15-minute walk from the central train station, and there's a direct subway line to the Duomo. This station is also a commuter rail stop, making it convenient for transferring to intercity trains to Verona and Venice outside the city. Breakfast is included, and the simple spread is sufficient."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station, which is its biggest advantage. There's also a supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. The downsides are that the bathroom light is motion-activated, so it would suddenly turn off while showering. The 2-in-1 shower gel and shampoo came in a tiny bottle. The food and drinks in the mini-fridge cost extra, and the air conditioning wasn't very responsive. For both days I stayed, it wouldn't turn on automatically, and I had to go to the front desk to get it working. On the first day, it was too cold, and on the second, the airflow was very weak. The soundproofing was decent, but I could still hear noise from the hallway. Overall, though, I was satisfied. The room was quite spacious, and the bed was a double."

"Beyond its location, this place has nothing going for it. The room was tiny, and the old guy at the front desk, who looked Chinese, couldn't speak Mandarin. The window handle was missing, and the toilet seat creaked so much I was worried it would break. As we were leaving, I saw a blue card on the table with drink prices listed on the back. I wasn't sure if it was for the mini-fridge downstairs. We had two drinks that night. The next day at checkout, the front desk mumbled something I couldn't understand. I just asked, 'OK? We go now?' She replied 'OK,' so we left..."

"The hotel is new and the service is excellent. The staff speak many languages and you can store your luggage there. I checked in early in the morning, and after a quick call to confirm, it was fine. They gave me a really spacious room. I'd definitely choose this hotel again when I return. The only strange thing was that the shower water was cold, but overall it's a very modern place."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout my visit. They even provided us with phone chargers when we needed them, which was greatly appreciated. The housekeeping team was outstanding — the room was always spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Their attention to cleanliness really made a difference. The hotel is also in a great location, making it convenient to get around and enjoy the surrounding area. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and hospitality exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again."

"The hotel is located in a residential area, slightly north of central Milan, which appears to be one of the city's less affluent neighborhoods. Right next to it, there's a large roundabout surprisingly overgrown with tall weeds! The buildings' bases are covered in graffiti, making the area look quite run-down. There was a Black housekeeping staff member who seemed to lack proper housekeeping training. While cleaning our room, he took our personal glass, which was very different from the hotel's provided glassware, as well as a stainless steel cup and chopsticks that had no connection to the hotel whatsoever. When we returned to the room and noticed these items missing, we saw him still cleaning and immediately asked if he had thrown them away. He didn't evade the question at all; instead, he led me to the storage room and retrieved everything! We ran into him at the subway station the next day. He was instantly recognizable – over 190cm tall and very thin. He greeted us in a very friendly manner."

"Hotel location: The Milan HD8 Hotel is located directly opposite Milan Central Station, just across the road. It's also conveniently located for the airport express train, even more so than the regular train, as it's just a short walk across the road. Room space: Very small. Once a suitcase is laid flat, there's no room to walk around. Facilities and hygiene: The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the air conditioning is very strong. It has a 6-foot double bed, but there were no toothbrushes, conditioner, slippers, or tissues. [Unexpected Safety Incident] On the second night of my stay, the power tripped twice in quick succession. When I reported the first outage, the male front desk staff member was surprisingly able to accurately state my room number. He contacted an engineer to inspect, and the conclusion was that it wasn't due to a problem in the room itself, but rather the main circuit breaker on the first floor where my room was located. After it was reset, the power was restored. However, less than half an hour later, the power tripped a second time. This time, the male front desk staff member didn't call an engineer; he came upstairs himself and attempted to close me in the room. I managed to hold the door open in time, and clearly informed him and pointed out the switch location inside the room, which prevented an unsafe situation! The male front desk staff member then went to the main circuit breaker, and the power in the room was restored in just 2-3 seconds (presumably by flipping the breaker). This male front desk staff member offered no comfort or apology, but instead asked, “Are you scared?” Because the power tripped twice on the same night, making it impossible to stay safely, I contacted Ctrip customer service representative L19742 around 3-4 AM China time. Ctrip handled the situation appropriately for me, and there were no further power outages after that. [In summary, even with a good hotel location, I do not recommend single travelers stay here.]"

"The apartment is great. Everything is brand new, the house is nice. The neighborhood can look a litlle getto (as we were in august, many places are closed and covered in graffiti). The check in is very easy, you don’t have to find the key in the middle of nowhere. The service is little off cause we had a sink problem, left the application but nothing was ever done to it. Overall I would be glad to come bac I would be glad to come back!"

"We stayed here 3+1 nights the previous week, great location, they were kind to let us check in early (3nights session). Few minutes walking to Centrale and super market (close at 0900 PM), very easy to commute. Be recommended that the maid could come and clean your room anytime on the check out date, in case you are away. We wend out for coffee and local market in the morning, back to hotel before checkout time (0930 am approx), door was open while the maid was cleaning the room (she didn’t speak English nor we don’t speak Italian too) Informed the front during our check out, but seems it’s nothing for them (we don’t take it serious since our bags were all packed and locked before hand) Please do whatever necessary if you want to go out in the morning before checkout out"

"The hygiene was okay, but it felt more like a 3-star hotel in China. The facilities are quite old and there's basically no service. The good thing is they have parking, even though it's a bit difficult to park, it's safe and costs 15 euros per night. In Milan, hotels rated 4 stars or above charge an additional city tax of 10 euros per person per day. The location is convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Metro Line 1, and there's a Carrefour supermarket downstairs. This was also the only hotel I stayed at in Italy that didn't provide free bottled water."
