This is my second time at Hotel Tocq, there’s no better recommendation than that.
The location is great, near Garibaldi station so not far from the central station either but in a much nicer and safer area.
Well connected with metro, tram and suburban train.
Walking distance to a lot of nice areas.
The breakfast buffet is rich, it has a lot of savoury and sweet options and also caters to vegans and lactose intolerant.
The staff is friendly and quite helpful.
I would only improve on some things included in the room:
-the slippers (there’s always one pair instead of two, but they will give you the other if requested);
-there’s no where to put the soap so maybe a hand soap dispenser would be better than the bar soap;
- for lingerie stays it could be useful to have somewhere to store the clothes, am armoire or some drawers.

It was a very suitable hotel for our family travel. We were very happy with its breakfast. You stay in a kitchen room like apart hotel. Also around it is a huge supermarket and beautiful places. The greatest advantage is that it is at the bottom of the metro station. I would prefer the same hotel again if I were to go again.

I have never been more pleasantly surprised than visiting this hotel. I was looking for an affordable hotel with a good location, so my expectations was mediocre. First impression couldn't be better with an amazing lobby, friendly service, and quality design throughout. The room was equally stylish, super clean, and with great space. Icing on the cake, I had forgot my shaving kit, but after visiting the reception they gave me a free shaving kit. I will definitely choose this hotel next time Im going back to Milano. It was honestly my best hotel experience!

Excellent location, conveniently near the central train station and the subway entrance. The hotel is clean, ideal for a short stay and good value for the money, considering that you’re in the center of Milan. Unfortunately you can hear people if they speak loudly in their rooms or in the corridor, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to get a good sleep.

The service of the hotel is invincible, much better than traditional high-end luxury hotels. There are only a dozen rooms in the hotel, and the service is one-to-one. The rooms are large, especially suitable for a family. The biggest highlight of the hotel is the invincible view, the most beautiful view of Milan is right in front of your eyes. The breakfast is very good. Ctrip does not include breakfast and the direct restaurant bill is 48 euros per person. It is very good, and the service is very considerate. Since I got up late, the waiter told me to eat slowly. It doesn't matter if we charge after you finish eating. It's really sweet.

Our two-day visit to Milano with friends was highlighted by the clean and modern room where everything worked: very good beds, shower, space for suitcases, coats, vlimate control, good sound-proofed windows,... We were attended by attentive and friendly staff at the reception as well as at breakfast, where the buffet supplied everything we liked: Swiss müesli, croissants, eggs, fruits, ... The hotel is only a couple of minutes walking distance from the opera Scala, the duomo, the metro station, some good restaurants, .... We also were happy to use their nice umbrellas. All in all everything was so satisfactory, that we did not mind, that the toilet paper roll needs two hands to use, as it is on the shelve and not attached to the wall. :-)

Great location — close but just far enough from the Duomo and relevant subway stops to make getting around Milan easy and quick. The staff was so friendly and helpful and clearly had our safety in mind. The room was right below the lively rooftop bar with a great view of the city. The room itself was small but perfect for me, my husband, and young adult son. The rooftop bar was fun and felt so glamorous, too! Their menu was on also topnotch, a great place to enjoy aperitivo and enjoy the nightfall sky. You could hear the slight thump of music from our rooms, but that didn’t bother us at all. The gentleman at the front desk was also so kind and helpful with all our questions from money exchange to metro stops to restaurant recommendations and even fashion advice!

I stayed at the Hotel Galles with my two year old son to visit the Christmas markets and generally do some sightseeing in December 2022. From the get go the staff were fantastic and we had a room with a large and comfortable cot (with small duvet and pillows) and a big bath tub. The breakfast is a buffet style and has a great range to select from. We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and it was beautiful 🤩 I managed a sneaky glass of wine at the Cardiff bar where Christian was absolutely lovely with my little boy. Whilst we didn’t use the pool, it was great to know it was there if it became too chilly to go out. The location of the hotel is perfect, ten minute walk from the Central Station - don’t make the mistake of getting the airport train to the Cordona station…it’s a 50 minute walk even if the train is quicker! The reception staff were incredibly helpful and gave us lots of advice about where to go and how to get there. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others. There’s is some residual noise from the streets and the trains but it’s an inner city hotel, so I expected that but it didn’t keep us awake at night. Thanks to all the staff who made our weekend away extra special.

My wife got a good deal on this hotel. At first it seems out of the way, but it is close to M1 underground line (Gambara closest stop). Plus there were quite a few very good restaurants within walking distance (＜15 min). We walked in to the centre of the city a number of times - around 40 minutes, but no big deal for us. I'd joined my wife at the last minute and the hotel were very generous and didn't request a supplement, which was not expected and obviously highly appreciated! All staff were polite and courteous. The room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast room on the top floor was great - light and bright with views west over the roof tops. We would recommend this hotel!

This hotel is in the Porta Romana district and was within 30 minutes walk of the Duomo so, for us, it was a good locational it was not in the busy part of the city but was close enough to enable us to walk or take public transport to get around all the major central sites. A strong point in its favour is that there are many restaurants close by which we found very convenient - they were good to ! Staff were courteous without being gushing; breakfast was excellent; superior room was tidy and plenty adequate for our requirements.

YYunshiwojiaobuThe Courtyard Marriott Hotel opened in 2014. The facilities are relatively new, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the sanitary conditions are also good. Although this hotel is not in the main city of Milan, there is a subway station nearby. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and believe in the quality of Marriott.

GGuest UserWe stayed for a long weekend . The hotel is very nice , the rooms were large with high ceilings and nicely decrated as was the rest of the hotel . Breakfast was very nice great selection and very nice staff . The reception were very nice and very helpful , answering any questions we had . But one member of staff called Markita in reception when above and beyond the call of duty , she was fantastic . We will certainly reccomend this hotel to all our friends .

GGuest UserThe Klima hotel is absolutely lovely. The service was wonderful, all of the staff were polite and friendly and we got a”Bonjourno!”or a “Ciao!” every time we passed. The room was spacious and the bed was huge! The shower was powerful and everywhere very clean. The location is within an industrial estate but the bus stop is a 5 minute walk, the tram stop is a 10 min walk, and the local train station is a 15 minutes walk, with a Milano card, this was great. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

GGuest UserAfter reading all the mixed reviews, I won't lie, I was not sure what to expect. The images on the site looked great so I stayed optimistic. We landed at Bergamo and got a coach transfer to Milan Centrale which was around €60. We had 2 large suitcases so got a private taxi to the hotel which was roughly €20. Be prepared to do lots of walking!! We checked in at 2pm and paid the local tax, and the staff were lovely, all bar one who was always a bit grumpy !! The staff were more than accommodating and welcomed us so well and one of the ladies gave my children a little Minions activity pack each which they loved. Breakfast was included in our package which I didn't realise- brilliant! The selection was good and I was impressed by how many alternative milks they had as well catering to those with intolerances/allergens ie a gluten free diet. (I would however recommend that the gluten free items be placed further away from the pastries and cakes to prevent cross contamination, as well as a separate toaster) Fresh juice was available everyday as well as a good selection of fruit salad, cakes, pastries and different kinds of teas. I would suggest a few more options for those that do not eat meat. Nonetheless the breakfast was great- especially the marble cake!! We had use of the pool and gym included. My children would stay in the pool all day if they could but it was great to cool down in as it is incredibly hot!! The gentleman at the desk suggested taking the 27 tram into the city centre, and this is just a short walk away from the hotel. It takes roughly 20 mins max to get to the centre and runs every 10 mins which is great. We purchased a travel card (3 day and 2 day separately) for €12 and €8 which covered bus, train, tram and metro. (These can be purchased at convenience stores or the metro station). Children also travel free on public transport as far as I know. The rooms were big enough for us and were tidy on arrival. We didn't need housekeeping everyday but the ladies who did come in did a fabulous job and didn't disrupt any of our items. These ladies were lovely and always smiled when we greeted them. We had air conditioning which was a god send as it was very hot during our visit- nearly 40°C!! WiFi is included but you have to get daily codes which was a bit annoying but the gentleman at the desk gave us enough to cover the last few days of our trip. The hotel was clean and tidy as well as smelling nice- I need to know what fragrance is used in the lobby!! The staff were great and I cannot thank them enough for all their help during our staff, they are a credit to the Novotel chain. GGuest UserYes, the rooms are small, but it's clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is good and only 7.20 Euros, a bargain. Many breads, sweets, yogurt, eggs, sausages, cereal, some fresh fruit and espresso/cocoa machines. They also have some menu items in the lobby to eat later in the day. Shortly after check in, I received an email asking if everything was ok. I texted back that we just checked in and everything looked good except the garbage can wasn't emptied. Within 5 minutes, I had a call with an appology and asking if they could come and empty the trash. which they did within a few minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rainhead shower head which was great, Only a couple blocks from Central rail Station and many restaurants in the immediate area. It's a good moderate hotel, I would look for a bigger room next time, but it was fine. They have murals of the train station to make the room feel bigger. .Wake up calls both days were on time. For a low price hotel, this was great.
