"This hotel was absolutely terrible. The front desk staff's English was awful, with a strong Italian accent, and they were very impatient. I found bloodstains on both the sheets and curtains. The only upside might have been the wide selection of drinks in the minibar. Although the location is near Milan's train station, it's still quite a walk to get there. Also, the hotel photos make it look like a high-rise, but most rooms are actually quite low, and the building itself isn't even fully dedicated to the hotel."

Meliá Milano Hotels in Milan

"During my 4 nights stay, I experienced several issues that significantly affected my comfort and overall experience: 1. The room had very poor soundproofing. There was constant noise from outside and neighboring rooms, making it difficult to rest. 2. There were frequent and unexpected knocks on my door at irregular times. Additionally, items were delivered without prior request or clear notice, which was both disruptive and concerning. 3. The dining experience was inconvenient, as guests were required to walk to the cashier to make payment instead of having a more standard and seamless billing arrangement. 4. The room lighting malfunctioned intermittently, with lights turning off suddenly without any apparent reason, causing inconvenience and discomfort. These issues are not in line with the standards I would expect from your hotel. I would never recommend anyone to stay here."

Scarlatti Hotel Milano ★★★★
"There were a lot of black people wandering around the hotel, which made me quite scared. Plus, there were about five or six flights of stairs, making it difficult to carry a large suitcase. The room had a dark theme, and the power went out twice suddenly, which was startling, but it came back on quickly. Reading other reviews made me even more anxious. I didn't sleep well for two nights and would not recommend staying here."

"Good as before ! Breakfast was very delicious and of high quality. Service was superb and the air conditioners and ventilation were good. The room was clean and tidy. Sometimes there was only one lift ( out of four) functioning but luckily we didn’t need to wait long"

B&B Hotel Milano Central Station ★★★
"This is a modern, standardized hotel located just a few minutes' walk from Milan Central Station and the subway, with a Carrefour at the end of the street, making its location quite convenient. What I found most inconvenient was the lack of a kettle, slippers, a toothbrush kit, and bedside tables in the room. They only provided two very thin paper cups for brushing teeth daily. Although the room itself wasn't small, it felt rather bare and lacked smooth functionality. The water dispenser in the lobby was out of order for a long time, but bottled water and snacks were available for purchase. The latex mattress on the bed was quite comfortable, but aside from that, there weren't many other positives."

"The hotel was lovely and the service was exceptional; however, we did encounter an issue with the toiletries. The hair conditioner and soap ran out after our first day and had to remind housekeeping to restock them when we got back to our hotel room at 9:00pm"
