Holiday Inn Express Wuhan Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street

First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. It's right outside Exit H of Metro Line 6. The building houses several hotels, but the elevators are well-distributed so you never wait long. Step outside, and there are snack streets to your left and right, and Jianghan Pedestrian Street is just two blocks away. The room's air conditioning was very quiet at night, and both the bathroom and shower area were spacious. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add a few hooks for hanging clothes while showering. Breakfast was just okay in my opinion, but the dining environment was quite pleasant. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to tourists visiting *****, as all the facilities are brand new.

There are plenty of food options nearby, and the staff were all very polite. The breakfast was plentiful, and they even offer free laundry and drying services.

I traveled before the May Day holiday rush, and for 800 yuan for two nights, I guess that's the going rate in ***** for this kind of place. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic; you step right out of Exit H of Metro Line 6 and it's right there. It's convenient for getting anywhere, and whatever you want to buy or eat, you can find it. The front desk is on the 26th floor, and we stayed on the 22nd. On second thought, though, security felt a bit lacking. There are many hotels in the building, and anyone can take the elevator to any floor they want; the key card only offers a slight convenience. The room had a small window that couldn't be opened. On the day I checked in, they said they upgraded me to a king-size bed, so when I saw the room, I honestly couldn't imagine what a non-upgraded room would look like. On the first day, there were no disposable slippers in the room. I called the front desk to ask where they were, and the lady kept insisting where they *should* be. Finally, I got a bit frustrated and said, 'Why don't you come and check if they're actually there?' After the room was cleaned on the second day, I saw where the slippers were placed, and it made me even more certain they simply forgot to put them in the day before. The hotel is less than a 20-minute walk to the ferry terminal, which is very convenient. Right outside, you can catch buses 727 and 1 directly to Shanhaiguan Road. So, if location is your priority, this place is perfect. However, the breakfast was truly, truly terrible – slow to replenish, poor taste, and limited variety. If I could book a rate without breakfast, I'd definitely skip it! I only took one photo of the hotel: a toothpick from the restaurant. You can tell from the quality of the toothpicks provided that the service isn't great.

Taking advantage of the spring break, I brought my daughter to ***** for three nights. The first night we stayed near ***** Station, and the remaining two nights were at this Holiday Inn. Before we left, I debated for a long time whether to change hotels. After reading reviews about the location and comparing prices, I decided to stick with it! The hotel upgraded our room, which became bigger and now had a river view – a pleasant surprise! 😄 The transportation is incredibly convenient; the hotel is right outside Exit H of the subway. There are so many famous eateries nearby: Feifei Xia Zhuang, Liangliang Steamed Crayfish, Cai Lin Ji, Zhen Tea House, and even Zhan Ji Taosu! 😂 I ate so much I got indigestion... Before heading home, I even ordered delivery to the hotel front desk to take directly to the train station. Oh, and there's a Jingjing Youyue bus at the bus stop right outside the hotel, which is super convenient! We walked across the Yangtze River Bridge from Wuchang to Hankou and found out there was a bus that goes directly to the hotel entrance. It took the same amount of time as a taxi, haha, we just had to wait a few minutes. The driver was also very polite and even gave us a sachet!

The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to both the subway and bus lines. We were able to check in as early as 10 AM, and late check-out was extended until 2 PM. Our room on the 26th floor offered a great view, and the breakfast buffet was decent. Freshly brewed coffee was also available in the lobby.
