"The room was quite spacious, and the location is very central. There's a famous comic book store across the street that sells American comics. The room didn't have amenities like slippers or toothbrushes, which you had to request from the front desk. Sometimes, there were staff at the front desk who spoke Chinese. Overall, it was very good, and I recommend it."

"Dorsett hotel is a great hotel, few issues, lack of parking or street access, no bathroom amenities unless you call reception and request items, breakfast was way below standard, at 9am, way too many empty dishes, no bread available, not worth the price to include breakfast in your stay, hotel has way to improve in this department. Cheaper to eat at local cafes than hotel with what was available. Not to standard for this kind of hotel."

"The room is clean and location is very convenient within walking distance to many attractions in the city. The buffet breakfast is good value for money and delicious with choices of hot and cold breakfasts. The downside is that the bed is too soft for us. Also unpleasant experience with communication of hotel staff about the offer for a breakfast box in place of paid buffet breakfast which we can decide any time we were back for the day, was denied later saying this should be confirmed before 10pm. There was no follow up call or email despite the documented “unconfirmed” request. Also our request to grab something simple quickly was also rejected saying that it was a sit down breakfast and not supposed for take away. Not being helpful at all."

"There was only one staff member on duty, who was incredibly busy, so check-in took a very long time. What's more, they charged an extra 50 AUD for parking, but didn't inform us of this beforehand; we only found out when we were leaving. Most hotels usually include free parking."

"At first, they gave me the room at the corner and which had high frequency noise from air conditioning. The front desk staff was very nice, he helped me to change another room at once. Even that the room was smaller than the old one, but brighter, feel more comfortable and more quiet. I can’t imagine if I need to sleep in the old room for 6 night. This hotel is very convenience which place at the free tr zone in the city centre."
