"First off, the hotel is a 25-30 minute walk from the city center. While there are public transport options nearby, we preferred to explore the city on foot. We were very pleased with the breakfast; there was a great variety of choices. Unfortunately, the rooms don't have air conditioning, but they do have fans. Since we stayed in May, we didn't have any issues with the heat, but I imagine a fan might not be enough in July or August. I was also happy with the overall cleanliness of the hotel, and we didn't encounter any problems. The staff were very friendly and helpful too."

"The front desk service was very warm and welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were a breeze. The room was really spacious, probably one of the largest I've stayed in across Europe. It's about an 18-minute walk to the main train station, and the nearest metro/bus stop is just a 4-minute walk away. "Right across from the train station, this hotel is super convenient for train and public transport. If you know Ibis, you know it's clean and practical. The breakfast is quite extensive for a budget hotel; they have a self-service waffle maker which is delicious! The vegetable selection is the standard three options you find in German-speaking countries, and of course, plenty of dairy products and cheese. Oh, and this was the only place on my trip that offered Japanese miso soup and rice for breakfast, haha! Even though I don't have a 'Chinese stomach,' I couldn't resist trying half a bowl—it was just what I needed, nice and warm. I saw Japanese and Korean tourists each having a big bowl, haha."

While it was evening and there should be 2 receptionists, given the increasing demand at the bar in the evening, I had to wait for Arthur who made a cocktail at the bar. After filling out the form, I was forced to wait again for Arthur, who was dealing with a client in the luggage room who claimed his bag was missing. After Arthur gave my keys, I eventually went to the room with no available space on the lower level, and I was forced to return to reception to change rooms, but again, there was no one at reception or in the bar!!!After I had to wait, Arthur returned, but after speaking with a guest from Gran Canaria, he left again. After another forced wait, Arthur returned and eventually gave me a room with a free bed on the bottom bunk, but I wasted a lot of time! There should be several staff members at reception in the evening, not just Arthur, who is also the manager!"

"The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the main train station, and there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. When we arrived, KLM had lost our luggage, and when I told the front desk lady, she was incredibly kind. She gave us lots of toiletries, slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, and even told us where to buy emergency clothes. She was super enthusiastic! The room was a bit small for two people, but considering the cheap price, it was still great value for money."

"The hotel is in a really good area regarding transport, bus stop outside which takes 10-15 minutes into Vienna city centre, breakfast you have a decent variety and a good selection of drinks.
On to the room, could be better, decor is run down and looks very tired, thankfully it’s just a place to sleep, saying that the bed is rock hard and quite uncomfortable. Mattress is very thin and when asked for another duvet it never arrived. The bed we did have creeked every time we moved so I’ll advise to lay very still. Shower pressure was very up and down, so was the temperature. Price for the hotel and breakfast overall was good but would definitely stay elsewhere when next in Vienna just for a better nights sleep."

Rrika487Stayed for three nights, and it was super convenient to get around. Right across the street is a transport hub, making it easy to get to the airport. There's also a big shopping mall with a bubble tea shop that my kids loved. We could walk to all the main attractions, and there's a park right next door. Plus, the breakfast spread was really diverse.

GGuest UserI booked a family room for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children. They don't allow an additional child. The location is very close to the main train station, and you can also walk to Belvedere Palace. There's a bus stop near Belvedere Palace that's much more convenient than taking the subway, as it goes directly to all the popular attractions in the Old Town, like the Musikverein, Karlskirche, Hofburg, museums, and City Hall… I only discovered this on the day we left! 😅 I bought a 48-hour transport pass, which felt like a better deal than the City Card, as the latter mainly offers discounts on attractions that you might not even use. With the transport pass, taking the train from the main station to the airport only costs 2.2 euros (half price for children). It takes 16 minutes to get to the airport, and even without the pass, it's not expensive – if I remember correctly, it's 2.9 euros. The hotel offers almost no service; it's mainly self-service. Housekeeping is supposedly every four days. Since we only stayed for 2 nights, it was acceptable, but I imagine it would be a bit uncomfortable for a longer stay.

Pros:
• Excellent location — right on the pedestrian street and only a 3-minute walk to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. All major attractions within the Inner Stadt are within easy walking distance.
• The double bed actually consists of two separate mattresses, so you won’t disturb each other during sleep.
• Two separate duvets provided, which is convenient.
Cons:
• The room had a musty smell upon entry; I had to open the window to air it out.
• Since the hotel faces the pedestrian street, it’s extremely noisy — crowds during the day, drunk people shouting at night, and in the early morning hours, street sweepers and sanitation workers make it impossible to sleep.
• If you close the window to block the noise, the room becomes very stuffy because the bathroom ventilation doesn’t work at all.
• The bathtub design is awkward, with mold visible on the tiles. No matter how carefully you shower, water still splashes onto the bathroom floor.
• The toilet flush is weak and can’t even handle toilet paper properly.
• The carpet is dirty, and the fabric chairs are stained as well.
For a hotel charging over €200 per night, guests deserve a cleaner and more comfortable room environment.

DDomicchaI was worried about the time it would take to get around since it's a bit far from the old town, but there's a bus stop right in front and a tram stop a short walk away, so getting around was absolutely no problem. The room, although a bit dated, was kept very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I also used the breakfast service, and the selection was much better than I expected. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

The service and facilities are genuinely great. Check-in was fast and smooth, and the staff were very polite, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The facilities are quite comprehensive; there's a steamer for ironing clothes, and the room has a fridge stocked with still water, sparkling water, and other drinks, which are replenished during room cleaning – a thoughtful touch. Slippers are also provided, and the bathroom amenities are well-stocked.
The room size is just right. There's enough space to open a suitcase and still have room to sit and relax without feeling cramped.
A nice bonus is the JBL alarm clock in the room, which can connect via Bluetooth to play music. It's perfect for listening to music when waking up in the morning or unwinding at night.

Inside the main train station you can find all you need so is very convenience. The hotel was highly with self serve register and check-in upon the arrival. However, there’s a receptionist at the front counter was very helpful, assigned the room for me adequately, truly appreciated. The room was equipped all your need just like the second home. WiFi and TV works well, except no aircon in the room, only with one small tower fan so may need to open the window during summer time. Overall is good stay. Thank you.

FFEIBecause I lived in a hotel in Europe for the first time, I was accustomed to the domestic habits and did not bring slippers. As a result, the restaurant did not provide it. Without the converter, the result was not provided by the restaurant, so I bought a difference of 12.9 euros. Ok! If you live in a European hotel, you must bring the necessary items, otherwise you will have a bad point. The distance from the Schönbrunn Palace is not there, but there is no breakfast shop. We had to go to the Golden Arch in one subway station and then to the Schönbrunn Palace in the subway. The hotel is very quiet, the morning is the window, wake us up.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and quite spacious. Tram No. 25 is right outside the hotel, making public transport very convenient. There's also a Billa supermarket and McDonald's nearby, which makes dining options very accessible.

Good staff for cooking.
The big inconvenience has been that there is only one auto check-in machine and it didn't work at 14:00 when everyone was there to try to allocate. The on-line check-in works but doesn't provides any QR thoufh their text claims so (all the ten persons there had the same situation). And the rooms were finally available at 14:20, only then the machine started to delivee keys.
I will be back and hope this swlf-service peoblem no longwr exists.
