"Finally got to experience the InterContinental, located in what's said to be the world's second-largest single building, a place I'd been eyeing for a while. Reviews online were quite polarized, but my actual experience far exceeded expectations. Walking into the lobby, it felt like a grand, classic five-star hotel with impressive public areas. As a Platinum member, I chatted with them in advance and was upgraded to a courtyard suite on the first floor of Zone A. Arriving at night, the public areas did feel a bit eerie once the lights were off. However, in the daytime, the room's small courtyard and the public spaces immediately gave off a resort vibe, reminding me of hotels in Sanya. The room itself had no musty smell and was reasonably well-maintained, not as dated as I'd imagined, though it was a minor disappointment that the Jacuzzi wasn't working. Due to its longitudinal layout and being on the first floor with a courtyard outside, the room was a bit dim. The poolside breakfast was incredibly unique, transporting me back to the Mandarin Oriental in Sanya. The food quality was excellent, and they also offered an à la carte menu. There are hot spring pools for relaxing, and the swimming pool is large and quite deep. The semi-open-air gym is also a standout feature. It's just a 5-minute walk to the Ocean Park and Global Shopping Center within the building, offering plenty of entertainment. Considering the price point, I highly recommend it for first-time visitors looking to check it out and for locals wanting a staycation."

"We had a wonderful stay. The hotel's overall design is distinctive, simple yet grand, with high-end art decorations. The room was spacious with a well-planned layout. Located in the south of the city, the high-floor view is amazing, offering sights of the river and Tianfu Avenue. The kids' club is huge, spanning 1000 square meters, with plenty of activities to keep children entertained all day long. Our butler, Carrie, contacted us in advance and prepared toiletries for the children, and also sent us a route map. Although our driver still got a bit lost, Carrie's thoughtful service made our trip much smoother. She even brought us milk in the evening, which was a lovely touch! The only minor issue was that the room lighting was a bit dim, making it hard for my child to do homework. I hope the hotel can improve this. Breakfast was delicious, especially the noodles and pancakes – I had two bowls of noodles myself!"

"The hotel is beautiful and the room excellent. Unfortunately the roof top pool was closed without prior notice for our 7 night stay. This was very unexpected in the middle of summer and a major feature of the property. The service is unfortunately patchy, and the amenities not as advertised. The room does not have a service guide - in English or Chinese, the television provides pretty hotel pictures not useful information . The room was often not serviced until after 2pm, about the time you need a cool down and fresh towels in the summer heat. The food was excellent- but like in many cases- the WeChat menu app would work with an international phone number, and no Ali pay version was available, a paper menu would have been handy. We have been to several cities in China and similar hotels while not as beautiful were better organised."

"I've known about this for a long time but never dared to try it. I'm in awe of homestays. I stayed here for one night during the high temperature holiday. I arrived very late, and the lady at the front desk was super nice to receive me and took me to the room. The service was perfect! There aren't many rooms in the homestay. We stayed on the first floor, which had a large yard and a huge screen to watch. The room was spacious and we slept very well! The Beilin Greenway is just outside the door, and the hotel has bicycles to ride! Overall great!"

"A hotel that you want to be a repeat customer of. The service started after placing the order. The housekeeper contacted me by phone and added WeChat to inform me of check-in tips. The hotel is in the simple Hui style of architecture. Driving a straight road from the bustling Chunxi. There is a sense of tranquility in a paradise. "The room type experience of Tree Frog Tribe is quite good. Friendly reminder that it is not suitable for very small babies or the elderly, and the stairs are still very steep. But the surrounding environment is good, the service is also good, free drinks and fruit Tremella soup are provided, and you can camp and barbecue. There are not many varieties but you can eat enough. It is recommended to place a vending machine at the front desk to sell instant noodles, potato chips and other snacks."

"A very satisfying vacation. A family of three booked a double room. As the child just turned 7, bed fees were required. After communication, the housekeeper waived the fee. It took us an hour to drive from Chengdu to the hotel. The housekeeper greeted us at the door and helped us with all our luggage. When we checked in, since the rooms were not too tight, the housekeeper directly upgraded us to a tent room. What a surprise! The hotel has a very good environment, with a large lawn, landscape pool, swimming pool, open-air teahouse, etc., enough space for children to run around. The room is antique, with a river view balcony, an open-air bathtub, a projection TV, and a dry and wet separation in the bathroom. The breakfast was very rich and I wasn't hungry at noon. Unfortunately, the chef was on holiday and couldn’t prepare lunch or dinner. We packed some food that day and the kids wanted to eat egg fried rice, so the housekeeper helped us make egg fried rice with the rice we packed. The kids said it was delicious!
