Hotels with Gym and Fitness Centre in Funchal

The staff is friendly, the room is a good size and everything was clean. The room has a mini fridge, slippers and robes. They also provide pool towels. There is a cleaning service everyday and they change all the towels, including the ones for the pool. The bed was not the best as it was quite hard and had a spring mattress. We enjoyed the indoor pool, the jacuzzi and sauna. We haven't tried the outdoor pool as we only spent time there in the evenings. The breakfast was good. I'd come back as it was a nice experience overall.

We didn't like it. It felt like everything was missing. There were no slippers, robes, water (!), 3-in-1 cosmetics, and an empty minibar in the room. For this money, you expect more. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel. The room with a view of the city overlooked the neighboring hotel Savoy. The view was good, but you couldn't open the window because there were hoods nearby, and the smells of food were drawn into the room. Paid parking - 11 euros/night. Inexpensive, but again, they could have included it in the price for hotel guests. Good roof

Everything was fantastic, hotel location, services and design of the hotel. I enjoyed the 2 nights there. Unfortunately the welcoming was not good for me as I waited for 3 hours and 20 minutes. Yes I came early before the check in time which is 2 Pm and I came at 11:50 and the front deck staff ( Eduard ) confirm to me that my room will be ready at 2 pm but till 3:10 pm only I got to my room after I esclate my issue to the front deck manager ( Peter ), the problem was not about the time I lost, but the attitude of front deck staff as he is looking to my face multiple times and he didn’t come to say sorry that your room not yet ready just to apologizing…

Since it was all-inclusive, we were able to eat and drink at one of the restaurants. The restaurant I recommend is an Italian cafe called VELA DI CANALE. They offer all-you-can-eat hot pizza, and if you time it right, they'll even bake you your own pizza with your favorite toppings. The pool was spacious and we were able to relax. I'd love to stay here again.

I chose a hotel with an ocean view at an affordable price. As a result, there was a hotel with very spacious rooms, panoramic window, coffee/tea, a comfortable bathroom with bid, a large balcony. The only moments: a separate bed for the couple and a weak shower. Noise of night waves on the amateur:) We had to close the door on the balcony, though it was quite noisy. The service is very friendly.  Breakfast is delicious and fresh. There are plenty of baking, drinks, cuts and hot.  I didn't expect there would be a free transfer to the center and back. Absolute plus this hotel because it is not in step-by-step access from the center.  The views, the purity near the hotel, its beach is amazing.  Then we lived in the private sector and a lot of what looked at the island, but the first two nights in Orca Praia remained in our heart 💘 With respect,  Elena from Russia

The experience at Pestana Ocean Bay was quite pleasant. The staff were always very friendly and attentive, always helping when needed. They definitely have a team that cares about the guest, is attentive, and empathetic. I felt very welcomed. In a questionnaire I completed mid-stay, I mentioned that the buffets could have grapes (this is because my daughter really likes them, and grapes were a fruit that hadn't yet emerged). I made this observation thinking it wouldn't even be read. However, the next day, when we arrived in our room, we had a beautiful plate of grapes. At that moment, we felt welcomed, as if we were at home. It was a gesture of care that touched us. Congratulations on this and for actually reading the questionnaires, which we often think no one will read and care about what's written there. They are well organized, presented, and manage everything involved in a stay: meals, evening entertainment, outings/tours, etc. Keep up the excellent work ☺️ Thank you.

My second stay at Alto Lido this year and it was even better than the first. Staff is professional and polite. I was kindly surprised with a room upgrade which was beautiful and comfortable. Lovely modern hotel. I will definitely be back again.

A lovely Hotel, with a high level of service and a great restaurant an amenities. The location is only good for those willing to taxi or drive to Funchal- otherwise it is a 30-35minite walk, allow more time for the way back all uphill. The decor of the rooms is dated- very 1990s in style, the carpet is wearing thin in places. The pool side area is nice but could benefit from a modernization to make the decor match the level of service. Can't fault the stay otherwise. Shout out to Sandra, the Maitre 'd, D for her amazing level of service. Obregado!

Прекрасно всё для этой ценоврй категории. Великолепный завтрак для отеля 3 звезды. Кухня, на которой можно приготовить вкусный ужин из прекрасных продуктов. Сильная вытяжка, никаких запахов, даже если подарить себе рыбку Балкончик с шикарным видом, на котором великолепно удинается с видом на море и сияющую огнём гору Монте. . Уборка каждый день. Район прекрасный. Внизу по улочке-променад вдоль океана, шикарный огромный супермаркет, зелень, кафешки.. Рекомендую. Да, отель старенький, немного пошарпанное всё, но плюсы перекрывают минусы с учётом стоимости этого всего..
