Hotels with Gym and Fitness Centre in Funchal

The hotel is conveniently located near the Lido area; great restaurants around the hotel and the airport bus stops right outside the hotel (return cost 8 euros)! Staff really friendly also and the team arranged a little surprise for my partner s birthday also. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was really good too with lots of choices. Hotel amenities were good too. All in all a great hotel. We also enjoyed the 30min walk to the old town from hotel but appreciate this may not be for everybody…though plenty taxis and the local bus route are a skip and a hop away.

We didn't like it. It felt like everything was missing. There were no slippers, robes, water (!), 3-in-1 cosmetics, and an empty minibar in the room. For this money, you expect more. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel. The room with a view of the city overlooked the neighboring hotel Savoy. The view was good, but you couldn't open the window because there were hoods nearby, and the smells of food were drawn into the room. Paid parking - 11 euros/night. Inexpensive, but again, they could have included it in the price for hotel guests. Good roof

The design and interiors are exceptionally luxurious. Drawbacks: 1. Pool is not heated in summer time 2. 5 days in the beginning of June - buffet dinner restaurant is closed. 3. All the service and cooking in restaurants is very slow. You always need to wait. Any lunch or dinner will not take you less than 1.5 hours. 4. Annoying room service. In the morning they wake you up to clean the room, then they come to bring you water, then for turndown service (just 2 sweets), then for something else. It never ends. Bring everything in 1 visit? Not possible

Since it was all-inclusive, we were able to eat and drink at one of the restaurants. The restaurant I recommend is an Italian cafe called VELA DI CANALE. They offer all-you-can-eat hot pizza, and if you time it right, they'll even bake you your own pizza with your favorite toppings. The pool was spacious and we were able to relax. I'd love to stay here again.

I chose a hotel with an ocean view at an affordable price. As a result, there was a hotel with very spacious rooms, panoramic window, coffee/tea, a comfortable bathroom with bid, a large balcony. The only moments: a separate bed for the couple and a weak shower. Noise of night waves on the amateur:) We had to close the door on the balcony, though it was quite noisy. The service is very friendly.  Breakfast is delicious and fresh. There are plenty of baking, drinks, cuts and hot.  I didn't expect there would be a free transfer to the center and back. Absolute plus this hotel because it is not in step-by-step access from the center.  The views, the purity near the hotel, its beach is amazing.  Then we lived in the private sector and a lot of what looked at the island, but the first two nights in Orca Praia remained in our heart 💘 With respect,  Elena from Russia

The experience at Pestana Ocean Bay was quite pleasant. The staff were always very friendly and attentive, always helping when needed. They definitely have a team that cares about the guest, is attentive, and empathetic. I felt very welcomed. In a questionnaire I completed mid-stay, I mentioned that the buffets could have grapes (this is because my daughter really likes them, and grapes were a fruit that hadn't yet emerged). I made this observation thinking it wouldn't even be read. However, the next day, when we arrived in our room, we had a beautiful plate of grapes. At that moment, we felt welcomed, as if we were at home. It was a gesture of care that touched us. Congratulations on this and for actually reading the questionnaires, which we often think no one will read and care about what's written there. They are well organized, presented, and manage everything involved in a stay: meals, evening entertainment, outings/tours, etc. Keep up the excellent work ☺️ Thank you.

Hotel was clean and spacious, provided shuttle service to the city centre which was perfect. The breakfast selection was great as well

A lovely Hotel, with a high level of service and a great restaurant an amenities. The location is only good for those willing to taxi or drive to Funchal- otherwise it is a 30-35minite walk, allow more time for the way back all uphill. The decor of the rooms is dated- very 1990s in style, the carpet is wearing thin in places. The pool side area is nice but could benefit from a modernization to make the decor match the level of service. Can't fault the stay otherwise. Shout out to Sandra, the Maitre 'd, D for her amazing level of service. Obregado!

Прекрасно всё для этой ценоврй категории. Великолепный завтрак для отеля 3 звезды. Кухня, на которой можно приготовить вкусный ужин из прекрасных продуктов. Сильная вытяжка, никаких запахов, даже если подарить себе рыбку Балкончик с шикарным видом, на котором великолепно удинается с видом на море и сияющую огнём гору Монте. . Уборка каждый день. Район прекрасный. Внизу по улочке-променад вдоль океана, шикарный огромный супермаркет, зелень, кафешки.. Рекомендую. Да, отель старенький, немного пошарпанное всё, но плюсы перекрывают минусы с учётом стоимости этого всего..
